Chapter 3 - The Gnolls on the Falls

As i left the guild after planning carefully i decide to walk out of the gates and headed out in the are where the encampment of the gnolls were located. Walking around the grassy plains i casually took a calming stride since after all when i first arrive at this world, the first thing i did was take shelter in a inn. Now looking carefully it seems that the world has two moons. Even with the sun still up it seems that the moons is visible.

Carefully thinking, it seems that this continent is just one of the fifty percent that is inhabited by races alike. It seems that due to the this world being a times bigger than my world. Fifty percent of the world has still not been explored. The problem with this world that with the monsters existing and the amount of power they have can sometimes decimate a whole expedition group. It was even said that the hero died when he was wandering around the world and is the reason why he vanish.

Stopping my train of thought, i look at the forest filled with different kinds of flora's in front of me and started walking over to enter. The Willow's forest is one of the forest's that has been said that was once the home of a group fairies.

They said that the Willow's forest was one of the forest's that has many cases were adventurers and the likes has been played and pranked to death by the fairies. Due to that a hundred or more adventurers went in the forest to exterminate them. It was said that red floras are the result of the fairies magical blood blending with the flower which is now called [blood frey] a flower that is useful for creating mid level mana salves, whic is according to my noah memories

One of the particular things about the forest is that high density of mana which was probably the reason why the fairies gathered in this place. The density of the mana is also perfect for aspiring magicians and alchemist's who gains the basic materials here. And due to that the forest has been use as a training grounds and making use of the giant trees. they carved the insides and rebuild the insides to make the tree habitable .

And because of that the trainees here probably hired the services of the guild probably because they can't be bothered to disturb and waste their time on the recent Gnolls encampment. Though they may be like seclusion and research, it still a bad idea to make an enemy out of a mage. The Mages Guild have always been united due o their common goal of the secrets of magic. They also have prides that goes to extreme when anyone dares to insult them or their fellows.

And as i was thinking i stood still for a bit and take a glance at the beautiful Willow falls. The waterfalls that is one of the most beautiful in this world. With the dazzling clean water and the beautiful floras that clings on its rock its a beautiful sight to behold. The willow falls are also one of the areas where you can the purest water free of unclean substance for free.

While watching the beautiful waterfalls , my eyes finally have taken contact with the reason why i am here. Gnolls, humanoid creatures that have a head of a hyena, they said that due to the harsh environment that from regular hyena's , they evolve into gnolls to survive. This group of Gnolls seems to be well equipped too, looking at them they have hard leather armor and steelhead spears.

Looking at them it seems that they have come from the barren oasis and is probably taking a rest here. And also by looking at their encampment that they clearly collecting water for their travels. These guys would probably leave withing a day or four but because its my job, i have to exterminate them an bring back proof that i have killed them.

Then after thinking it through i decided to prepare myself and launch a sneak attack on these fellows so i can take advantage of them and this is also the perfect time for me to text my [Paulum]'s efficiency .
