《Horror King》When was it..

"I'm home.. " I said. Already unlocking the the door I opened it and walked in before allowing Ae-Cha and Ha-eun in after me.
I always thought it was creepy how one would enter their own home last and ominously shut the door behind themselves. While the guest on the other hand had no idea what they gotten them selves into. Although petty I figure it as a better sign allowing them to shut it them selves.
I sat on the rise at the entrance and took off my shoes and stood before putting on home shoes, this is how one gets comfortable once entering their home. It is also neat an mannerable.
I glanced behind me to see after stepping on the rise the girls followed me and my example silently.
However I looked from the shoes on their feet to the door seeing that they only locked one of two locks.
-they must not feel comfortable around me yet..
-well its understandable.. While I visited them in the past they never came to my home for a visit.
"So this is your home Jimyun!" The Ha-eun entered with excitement and went past me entering the kitchen. Looking at everything with an wonderment she opened the fridge. "Huaa you have cake! Cake! Jimyun can I have it." She said as she lifted my chocolate cake into the air.
"There's a full cake there haha you really want it? Do what you like." I said feeling quite happy that she wasn't appearing too affect by the rrcent events.
"Are your parents not home Jimyun?" Ae-Cha said as she caught up to Ha-eun who had already found the plates, washed one, and cut a large slice of cake. Normall I would hesitate in letting her get so much in a single serving but after what happened.. I want to let them recover from this tragedy.
"No they have work now.. Their mafia to be precise." I said. I wondered how much to tell them but then I figured its alright for them to know. They're in my house after all. "My dad is currently working to over throw the current leader and my mom like dad is special seats in the mafia due to their skill set and achievements." I told them as looks of shock appeared on the face of Ha-eun who was just enjoying a piece of cake.
"Jimyun, DAD IS IN THE MAFIA!?" Ha-eun she shouted in shock with food in her mouth, she chocked a bit a beat her chest before taking gulps of water from the glass cup she sat on the table.
"Your mom too?" Ae-Cha asked. She now appeared slightly curious and nervous.
"Yea but its alright." I said and comforted her with words. "My mom is strong and dad is with her so it'll work out." I said and I also slightly felt a bit better with those words. After all who would feel great about having their family around guns? Although I never seen them in action the movies are really good.
"Ah, is that so.." She said.
"Yum, this is so sweet!" Ha-eun said acknowledging my amazing bakery skill. I tried to ignore her pleasant yet innocent expression that possessed no fears of this world and only cared about stuffing her face with cake.
I decided to sit at the table also as I thought about what was next.
-the police will arrive at the school tomorrow morning, with no proof of anything that happened earlier today they will need to ask who ever they recognize or absent students what happened.
-the school will most likely be closed for a while until someone else takes the job as principal and staff pick up where things were left.
-but it complicates things because people will wonder how everyone disappeared so there are chances of the school being abandoned.
"Sigh.." I sighed causing Ha-eun to look over at me as I sunk into my seat with my signature unamused expression I used often.
"This is too much.." I muttered.
- I think ill just ignore it and be ready when the education center make round calls.
-then again in being a bit emotionless aren't I? My friends I met In Japan died yet here I am thinking of how trouble some all of it is.
-this must be apathy at work.. Then again I only knew them a few months while I was actually gone for two years.. Not many emotions develop in that amount of time. Considering we only hung out on occasions like cheating on test and talking about our own interest.
"Sigh.." I released another sign.
-sighing is the only sound way to blow off steam after all.
-oh..
"Wait you two.. I need to ask you something but first." I said. Wondering briefly the fastest method for them to believe me I decided to teleport to my room and fix something that's been bothering me since I confronted the ghost.
Appearing in my room at my desk also leaving behind two girls with shock I picked up the paper from my desk. "I see."
I used my strongest two abilities and attempted to add on to my list of abilities namely omnipotent and omnipotence then unnatural omnipotence and unnatural omnipotent. At first once I did it I didn't feel a change but then I felt an affliction. Quicker this time my body underwent exhaustion and bleeding from my eyes and mouth. However this time I remained awake and once I figured a couple of minutes went by I used my utmost power to dispose of the paper. Even though I set rules to it so only certain powers and my self could do something with it I changed that and now nothing could and the last thing I had to do now was dispose of the paper. Holding it in my rihht hand it suddenly balled itself up into a ball so small you could hardly see it at all. not befitting of a normal sized paper.
Right then the ball was in my palm but suddenly I made black blood appear in my palm which took the ball into my palm and retreated.
-for now this is fine however soon I should really destroy this..page.
Again I appeared down stairs in my seat and faced Ha-eun who was talking to Ae-Cha patting her back as she tried to to cheer her up. Ha-eun was holding a fork with a bit of cake on it. She was glancing back and forth between her cake with a troubled expression.
Her cute reluctant expression made me laugh a bit which allowed her to notice my appearance. Seeing me return she pouted after quickly scarfing the cake down her self.
"Took long enough idiot." She said and glared at me while pouting.
-whaa how troublesome I barely know how to react with such a cute face in front of me. Really unfair!
"How did I cause this?" I asked. Feeling a bit hurt after being blamed by a girl with her assets.
"She cried because you left!" She shouted out while Ae-Cha finished wiping her tears and looked at me.

"Hey Ae-Cha. I'm back.." I said with a comforting smile.
"Comfort me too Jimyun! I almost lost my my cake!" Ha-eun said dramatically bursting into tears and grabbing my arm.
"Huh Ae-Cha doesnt eat chocolate and you should know this so there was no danger to begin with. Right? And call me by my first name." I said. Even after so long she still called me by my middle name which wasn't bad but I thought we were closer? We're friends huh..
"Idiot why should I call you by your first name?" She said shaking a fork of cake at me as she turned an eye toward me.
"Because we've known each other a long-" I was about to say.
"Stop. You know the first name is reserved for a closer couple. Until you see me like this I suppose we will stay the same right?" She said and put the fork in her mouth and enjoying it much like before and taking the fork down to her plate for another bite.
"You have some major points there.."
"How ever what if I did see you that way? Ha-eun.." I said as I felt an urge to tease her however unexpectedly she blushed and teased back.
"Wow wow is it? Could it be?" She said teasingly and fluttered her skirt with her hand before throwing in a spin. The skirt lifted with a light breeze from the spin how ever only revealing a bit of flesh from her thighs an not much more.
I was sent reeling but refusing to be beat at my own game, after dramatically pulling my self up to the table I said "I am serious." With a serious expression and intense staring at her face and most of all her eyes.
"Huh? But-but Jimyun but !" She quickly arrived at my side and looking back at my eye caused her to become flustered.
"Ouch! Stop ! Stop! What is it! Stop poking me aggressively." I said as she started poking me with her nails. They were beautiful and not overly done with many dramatic paints but only one fine polish with a couple of gems.
"That's unfair nano desu!" She said and poked me harder at my cheek.
"Japanese!?" I played along with a shocked expression. "Okay I get it I get it!" I said and she poked one last time with force causing blood to gush from my cheek. I shouted out in pain and retreated to the restroom while holding my cheek to stop the blood.
++
After bandaging the cheek and cleaning the wound I left the bathroom and closed the door with a sigh. Walking over to the table were I left the girls I sat in my seat once more and spread my arms across the table and lay my head down in tired resignation.
"Its your fault!" She said loudly and stuffed more cake in her mouth with a angry yet pouting expression.
"Don't rub it in alright? But you're a beautiful girl Ha-eun." I said and pointed a finger at her without looking up.
"What are you finally realizing my amazingness?" She said and i somehow felt she flaunted a bit while saying it. I looked up curious to check her out and somehow I found my self blushing again, she started laughing in response to my expression so I averted my eyes.
"What are you saying? I can't understand it." Ae-Cha spoke.
"Oh sorry was I speaking Japanese?" I asked as I turned to her with a gentler expression. Of our group she had always be en the soft one so we treated her nicer than anyone else. She often cries if she doesn't understand something or something important happens amongst us like this.
-No one can get hurt. No one can disappear. No one can be bullied.
-these are the ingredients to her happiness.
Conducting ourselves accordingly we always stayed angels in her eyes while seeing to it no one ever hurt her. Making sure she doesn't get hurt we became like demons to anybody who upset her. That's how its always been. We were driven to protect our angelic friend.
"Sorry.." I said, scratching my cheek.
"Me- Me too Ae-Cha" Ha-eun also apologized.
"Oh so that's what it is? Japanese .. I want to learn it to! I want to be able to speak with everyone." She said however her last words dragged up old memories to the surface furthermore what happened today before dragging her emotions into an abyss. I can't let her be upset like this.
"Hey.." I said. "I think I have a way for you to learn Japanese. Its prey fast you know?" I said and finally got her attention just as she was going to cry. Instead she looked up at me with hopeful eyes. Her expression became better. She looked more like an angel.
"That's what I disappeared for earlier." I said as I went over my abilities and told them that I trained for them. I told them my powers and my only weakness which mostly was..
"So that's what happened earlier!" Ae-Cha said with a smile. She looked a thousand times better.
"No fair!! You picked one of my abilities already!" Ha-eun pretended to be angry.
"I had too or else you could have died." I said.
"Well I want eternal youth too! I want to be super super extremely powerful too! Not just you!" She said dramatically with a great deal of enthusiasm.
She wants to be powerful? My eyes opened wide as I peered at her in astonishment. I thought no one else would want to be powerful. Most people like being themselves. The weaker them.
"Alright!" I said with a smile. I won't be lonely.. I wont be the only one. At least one person.
Ha-eun nodded and I lifted my self from the table as I begin to give them a few changes.
++
Okay now I won't have to worry.
I gave them some changes and mostly Ha-eun as she was most capatible with my powers and capabilities. She could now use five of my claws, supernatural condition, teleportation, supernatural tracking, fear inducement, I gave her the invincinble form of immortality and she is also ageless, And finally mental hallucination. Also she is now the second horror class entity which had the trait of featureless face with red eyes so I gave her an ability to change her features.
She became happy and began playing with her cheeks making them soft or making her teeth amazingly sharp.
++
Next on the list was our angel Ae-Cha.
"You sure you dont want immortality Ae-Cha?" I asked.
"Yes! After all I still want to grow! And if I became immortal who would want to bother saving me when I'm in trouble?" She said and let the sadness waft through her voice. Pangs of pain were in my chest and I found my self doing self scolding for being inconsiderate.
"Sorry but for awhile. Please stick with my selfish request. Is it okay?" She asked with a purely innocent look. This look however different from Ha-eun who was perfectly enthusiastic and playful . now there was innocent and angelic which was Ae-Cha.
-if I'm saying this right.
I developed a hopeless smile in trying to describe two different innocents and just winded up giving her a supernatural condition, chameleonic nature. Although I insisted but most were incapatible with her and she anyways rejected them.
++
In the end the initial kiss on the forehead was a requirement I had to complete willfully and it was once to bestow abilities. It was a show of trust and closeness while I also had to be fully intent on giving them my power.
Once it was done once it wasnt necessary again.
Now..
-Its rather late isn't it?
"Its 9:00 right now.. So what would you girls like to do? It's rather late." I said as I shuffled the cards and put them in a box.
"The .. I'm feeling a bit sleepy." Ha-eun lightly rubbed her eyes. "Can I crash here Jimyun? Its good right?" She said.
"Feel free. My room is up on the right."
"Okay!" She responded and slowly neared the steps. Soon she appeared at my room and got in my bed.
"Ae-Cha I guess its just me and you."
"From here on if you don't mind ill put everything back." I said and gradually began to change back into my original form with out facial features and soon the resemblance between me and my old self disappeared.
"Ah!" Ae-Cha screamed.
"What? Something wrong?" I asked her.
"No its ... Is it uncomfortable? Being like this?" She asked.
Her implications clearly indicated the difference between the feeling of human and monster like appearances.
In truth I did love my new appearance and it was far better than being human but if I had to answer..
"My normal state is now like this.. So for me to change its not exactly the real me but.." I said and thought a while back to my old human self and how it felt.
'So maybe it is uncomfortable..'
Seeing Ae-Cha become slightly down trodden and upset I quickly answered.
"But it isn't uncomfortable. It's just that I don't want to forget my achievement.. After becoming what I am I don't want to go back to just Jimyun I want to do what I want. This form is a representation for that." I told her smoothly.
"I see." She said allowing her expression to brighten as she smiled widely. "So Jimyun hasn't abandoned humanity. Im glad." She said.
Yet some how.. Someway.. There. I could not help but feel fear as those somehow ominous words came though to my ears.
" Ae-Cha?" I said as I reached for her wonder what she meant.
"I'm going to sleep. Thank you for saving me Jimyun. I'm happy for you Jimyun." She said.
" Ae-Cha.. Wait. Are you unhappy?" I asked unable to help but feel something wasn't right.
"Its just I don't want Jimyun to forget me.. Don't leave me Jimyun." She said while holding an ominous smile.
"I.." Soon as I heard those words I was feeling over come. I stood and left my seat and stood in front of Ae-Cha I grabbed her shoulders firmly. "I won't forget you Ae-Cha!"
"I feel better now.. Yet.. Even.. Even after you say it so sincerely I still.. Its still isn't the same." Ae-Cha said as tears welled in her eyes. She quickly brushed them away however and ran up stairs.
I stretched out my arm for her retreating figure. There was nothing I could do. How did this even happen. Yet there was one thing intriguiging about this. The familiarity of those words. I told some one once before I'd never forget them. Who was it.. That person..
-I'll never forget you..
Under the blue full moon, sincerity, heartfelt emotions, emotions as deep as space, stretching further than the greatest distance, our feelings burst through our chains like pages. Our previous doubts and bonds severed on a sacred night shared in a field of freedom beneath the silverey light of the seemingly blue moon and a kiss shared between two people the night appealing pleasantry.
"..."
With out realizing it my feet motioned to the fridge and I opened up and in the back I reached for one of the beer dad left behind. It was yet to be opened. He purposely left them for me and said drink them carelyfully. I suppose that meant moderation but I had yet to open any of them. This would be my first.
Grabbing what I came for I took it and walked toward the back door and opened the glass door. Walking out I sat on the wooden porch. I sat and contemplated my past with some girl if forgotten..
I finally got up the sense to open the beer. It was the first time is all i was allowed to think before the girl and memories came back. I sipped the beer and let some remain in my mouth as I savoured the taste. It was bitter the first second but became like sweet blood almost. Finally swallowing it I drink some and killed half the bottle before I stood up slow and staggered a little. Was it suppose to work so quickly?
"..."
"Its painful."
I stood and pulled down the rest and with nothing much left I lost my girl on the bottle.
*Crash*
"I'm going to bed." I said and left the glass broken in 1000 pieces. Deciding it would be bad to walk and I might fall I teleported to the sofa on the first floor in the living room before I fell asleep in my thoughts while sitting.

Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me. Lastly… I very much appreciate all my readers and thank you for allowing me to entertain you!
