Chapter 14
The first step to becoming a king!
It was relatively easy for the takeover to begin, this time I did not give a damn about the states’ owner, I bounded him to his new room – a disgusting jail cell, it was quite amusing actually, and the man had begged us for his life.
I will do anything to kill Elizabeth, she put me through hell, and with the Sixthar in my hands I will kill all the summoned players. That girl hasn’t delivered the help she promised, as in her second summoning.
I was in the previous states owners’ office, it was quite luxurious, and it was covered in transactions and all sorts of business related things. I took all the young men, and asked Elder Liu to teach us the ins and outs of combative situations. I’m also going to try capture the other provinces of this common land, called the Kingdom of Heavenly Fortunes. The name accurately described this land, that wasn’t a good thing. This land enslaved humans to work, the class different was as if comparing dirt and gold.
Using the phone, I had gathered enough information on automatic weapons, so I replicated them. Now I have a bunch of soldiers who are armed with rifles, and are very adequate in martial arts, and now Chandrelle is teaching them magical arts – and on top of that, they’re willing to die for me. Why? Because, I told them this is to restore commoner rights.
Rule 1 of siege warfare, no one dies for a cause, they die for the man who hired them – using this logic I successfully manipulated them into thinking this is what they’re dying for. Of course, I’m actually going to restore the rights, but I will use demi-humans as the labour force now. The door swung open, revealing my elected general, Zhu Yun. He was especially loyal, even willing to kill his closest friends for me – a valuable asset.

“I have acquired information on the province you’re planning to attack, my lord.”
He handed me a set of files, they were nicely written. He bowed to me and left the room. I had established a high sense of discipline through my soldiers. I scanned through the files, I had convinced the other province’s labours to join my guild – Oracle of Mirol, and Mirol was an extremely powerful commoner, his power could rival that of the strongest mages, he was born as nothing but the dammed son of prostitute, born in a goddamned brothel, but from this he became something that no one would’ve thought – a mortal of power that no one could harness, if you though Karna was a powerful mortal, this man achieved his power based on his willpower.
Thus his story, resonated with oppressed mortals, after all, they wished to rise and become an accomplished man like him. I extracted the main variables of the other state ran by Yin He:
– Yin He’s children were very powerful martial artist, I doubt there subjects would betray them. - They often gained food from merchants that travelled into the castle. – They had high medical proficiency and knowledge – Thanks to the ill-informed advisors, my state was weak, thus they were planning an attack.
Very good, now we can attack them by opening they’re gates by sending soldiers to attack the merchant’s carriage, sneak in, poison the food or if that fails, stick bombs into the carriage, and try to cause as much chaos as we can, than another team can extract the goods, while some of the soldiers are causing massive damage.

Chaos Wave
The year is 2055. Virtual Reality has been around for nearly forty years, and the Full Sensation Dive System has been around for about thirty. The various countries of Earth have long since given up on Warring against each other in this dimension when it turned out that with the FSDS (Full Sensation Dive System) virtual worlds became real, especially once Richard Alonzo Albeque's AIQNPC (Artificial Intelligence Quest and Non-Player Character) System was released and spread like a wild virus across all the active MMOs. People vanished from their Dive system, leaving nothing behind of the person they were, and the Characters they were in game become locked out, and no longer responsive to the System. In addition to this, they are suddenly showing up on ALL servers of a game at the same time, almost as if they were now an NPC. The governments put a stop to all distribution of FSDS Technology, and keep an eye on these 'Digitized Players'. Ten years pass and one of the first ever Digitized Players, a Level 500 Catgirl by the name of Atreya the Dawnbirth, created a stable portal between their MMO and Earth. With the return of one of the players, the governments remove the bans on FSDS Technology, which has still been researched heavily while under the ban. Wars break out over control of Virtual Worlds, but these wars are all fought ON the Virtual World, so the Earth isn't polluted further. Immortality is now available to all who seek it, if you can find a World to call your own. Of course, nobody paid attention to one of the few warnings Atreya brought back with her... The NPCs sometimes became sentient and disobeyed coding laws.

Rimward Bound
Every citizen of the sky-cities of His Majesty's Star-Empire knows that a ship, both sky- and star-, is more then just a few bits of metal. It is the grand sum of it's hull and the crew that sail it. 'Hulls of battle-steel and men to match!' That's what the Navy's recruitment poster's claim at least. Every sailor knows that there is one more component that the city-bound folk ignore at their own peril: the soul of the ship. That it takes both man and hull to make a true ship, and that neither alone serve well or for long. In 8225 Lord Jeffrye Saltonstall the Fourth, Political Lord of the Surveyor's Corps, demands semi-automated ships to 'reduce the loss of life among our brave crews', manages to convince the other politicians and bureaucrats to fund them, and gets the Office of Ship Construction to sign off on the ships as structurally sound. Dockyard workers shake their heads at the ships, muttering that they are cursed from birth, even as construction drags on. In 8230 the Explorer, first of her class, is launched. She sets out in 8233 to great fanfare on a trip expected to last six months. Neither she nor her twelve-person crew is ever heard from again. By 8235, the remaining seven Explorers are are commissioned. Lord Saltonstall managed to find crews for six of them but at the cost of mass resignations. The Night Horse, last of the Explorer class, sat in reserve as her sister-ships served well enough despite ill luck and misfortune. The Office of Ship Construction quietly issues notice that no more semi-automated ships are to be built and that all active Semi-automated ships are to be quietly retired and broken up for scrap over the next ten years. The Night Horse, sitting in reserve, is missed due to bureaucratic oversight. In 8250 Lord Ayland Wynstryngham the Eighth assumes the office of Political Lord of the Surveyor's Corps. His first act is to issue notice that no ship is to be without crew nor sit in dock or reserve for longer then required for maintenance and upkeep. The Night Horse, all but forgotten, is quietly brought back into active service. Recruiting a crew for her proves another matter entirely. What poor or desperate fool would willingly sign on to crew, much less command, a cursed ship and spend months or years in deep space? Well, you would, of course. Where else is a kid from the gutters going to find that kind of freedom in the service of His Majesty? A [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] 2021. Warnings: Second person is used in this work. Semi-Polished draft: Posted chapters are subject to revision as needed as things progress. Mild Profanity on occasion.

MY FAKE DUNGEON
Giant doors suddenly appeared all over the world. Alex knowing the truth, now has to wander beyond the doors to save his world. But he realized he alone wasn't enough so he sought help from the others, of which he called them... Players.. _______ A heads up, I'm sure you'd be able to infer from the synopsis, this is something like a dungeon owner mc but I just like to say that there is no heavy litrpg to this even thought the mc calls them players. No system (except for mc?) and no level up like that. Just mc trying to use people for his own good. If I had to describe this novel in three words it be, guns, despair, and monsters. WARNING: I'm a complete amateur at writing and my English sucks so.. yahh.. I will post these on other sites such as webnovel and scribblehub as well.
