Chapter 12 Treachery
I registered the surroundings. I was in a white room sitting on chair, I was constrained to it by some sort of cloth. I looked up and saw a very pretty girl, she had silver hair and crimson red eyes, which scared me.
“Finally you’re awake.”
“Where am I?”
Last thing I remember was destroying a bunch of people. She looks like that girl from the white room...
She smirks, “I guess you remember,” she said. “I might’ve been partly responsible for your rampage.”
♦ ♦ ♦
A shocking mix of humanoid figure that was horrifying in appearance. Flamboyant wings emerged out of his back, looking like a disfigured angel – or a demon rather. The eyes were a gleaming, unnatural blue. Its hands were like massive claws of an eagle, they were as sharp as sword.
When it sliced through flesh, it did so easily, as if it was a hot knife cutting butter. Its face was looked like the bark of a grey tree, and it was as rough as a stone.
Its skin formed into armour, it had developed an evolutionary defence mechanism, similar to a tortoise shell, except much more malicious.
These beings were called Phosaths. And Hitora was one of them.
When they experience strong emotions, they transform into them. They were the remnants of Shenlong Divine Dragon race. In the holy war, the Shenlong Divine Dragon race, were sovereign, but they never though that humans would evolve to develop Divine Weapons.
The Shenlong Divine Dragon race made them to their labour, thus when a humans transported a carriage of divine runes, they stole them and forged them into ‘Divine weapons’ and ‘Dragon Slayer weapons.’
Thus the Shenlong Divine Dragon race was utterly defeated, and humans assumed sovereign power of the realms. The other heavenly beast were quickly defeated and retreated into the heavenly Beast realms.

(Realms in this story are equivalent to worlds.)
But one Shenlong Divine Dragon, Lanlong, the blue heavenly dragon, assumed a human form, and famously defeated many martial artist and nobles. He was one of the few dragons at this time, apart from Nyrist, who vowed to protect Sixthar, (Nyrist Rune.)
Lanlong, in order to protect his species, he passed his DNA into human female he’d grown to love. Thus the Phosaths, or Qianlong, the remnants of the Shenlong Divine Dragon race.
The girl in front of him, was responsible for activating his powers. Hitora, was a son of the Lanlong, it was a mystery how he had appeared in another realm.
All this information had been passed down to Hitora.
♦ ♦ ♦
“Where’s Chandrelle?” I say, she sighs.
“That dead girl? Ah, she’s going to be buried…”
An anger like I’ve never had before wells up inside me, tears rolled down my face.
“Never thought I’d see a monster cry, what a joke, Master, you sure this guy’s the son of Lanlong?”
A mysterious man comes out from the door, he was cloaked in red. He took of his hood, revealing his pale and handsome face.
“I’m sure.”
He looked at Hitora who was in Qianlong state. In the split of a second, Hitora’s claw pierced through the chest of that man.
But despite the information provided by the girl, he simply did not transform, he calmly walked towards Hitora, even as his hand was in his chest.
His right hand transformed into an extremely large fleshy blade that immediately struck Hitora.
Hitora slowly lost his consciousness.
♦ ♦ ♦
I looked at Chandelle’s dead body. Why!? Damn it, I’ll kill that scum!
A small girl approached Hitora.
“Um, sir, you can still revive her,” she said this in a very confident and hopeful tone. “The healers of the Sovereign are so skilled, they can revive people from the dead.”

Oh yeah, like before when I battled the Karna. Except there soul was binded with the mage.
“But you’ll have to get there in another 100 days. Or they can’t revive her.”
Another 100 days? Well then. I guess I’ll have to release my power again, and barge in. After all, didn’t I obliterate the entire Witches Cult?
Well I’ll have to train, and kill those bastards.
Hitora said that out loud, and in a very cold voice.
♦ ♦ ♦
I found a great deal more about the camp. It’s a sanctuary from the sovereign, whose family is the ruler of the Sixthar.
The sovereign wants to kill all the Qianlong race.
I guess that’s why I retreated here. So I can’t use my power to often, otherwise they’ll kill me.
My plan is to reach my martial art level to maximum, and control my power. I’ll do this while collecting Divine Weapons, apparently they are a rare find in dungeons and such.
I’ll do anything to save her, to save Chandrelle, even if it means killing people and turning into a cold, selfish bastard.

Prerequisites for Greatness (RWBY)
Jaune always knew that being a hero meant going on adventures, sometimes very far from home. He just hadn't thought he would start so early, or so far. Sadly he wasn't high level enough to learn teleportation, nor did life have an easily accessible mount option. His own two legs and an occasional donkey would have to do. Medieval setting; gamer Jaune. You don't need to know anything about the RWBY universe to read this.

A Merchants Tale
Legends rise. Country’s fall. Empires wage war. But what supports these great powers, allowing them to function as a single organism. Is it the common man, Farmers and Millers forming the backbone of the land? The Soldiers and Guards keeping public order? The Wives and Widows supporting from the side-lines? The Nobles from their seats of power? Or the elusive Sorcerers who wield power untold? And what maggots crawl in this great creature, all trying to get a piece of its slowly decaying flesh. The gangs of the Underworld hidden in the shadows? The Bandits and Deserters hiding at the edges, ready to pounce on any weakness? Witches and Warlocks working their dark art? Or other Nations clawing at their neighbour’s, salivating over the riches they stand to gain from another’s demise. There is one group that belongs to neither group. They thrive on others misfortune and bring with them salvation and destruction in equal measure. They can raise a kingdom up or tear it down screaming and kicking. These are the merchants, the lifeblood of kingdoms, because what is the one thing above all else men crave. Is it Love? Power? Destruction? All these things can be acquired with one simple thing. Wealth. Wealth is the true power behind the world. Wealth can buy army’s, strangle kingdoms, and turn even the most devout man from his faith. Merchants come in many forms, shapes and sized, some gaudy, bleeding the people for all their worth, some tricky, preferring to make contracts and debts to trap men. And some desperate, doing all they can to sell even the most worthless of junk. This is a story of one merchant who goes against all a merchant stands for. He works not for profit but for some unseen goal, a prophesy aeons old. He comes and goes like a ghost, bringing with him hope and victory. All pray for his arrival to spare them from despair. But what about when he doesn’t show? What about the people he doesn’t save? For this man is no angel, no saint sent to save the masses. His goal was never to deliver hope. It merely isn’t time for their destruction yet. For nothing is eternal. And all things must end. But what comes after? Quick disclaimer in response to the review I got, this is my first story and somewhat of an experiment for me, hopefully my writing will get better the more I practice. Thanks for any helpful advice :)
