Chapter 8
Chun Jun, blade of the king vs the Sword of the Eighth Immortal
“It can’t be… Karna, even the gods fear his presence - the lord trembles with fear – he was banished from this realm, a divine being sealed his existence, how could he have not… died…”
The figure is hovering above the land, staring down upon the men below him, as if they were the very dirt. He pointed his sword at them and the blade of light increased, an orb of golden light emerged and flew towards the men below. As it hit them, a gust of dust shrouded them from vision, as it slowly went away.
A man with green hair, and a very handsome face, emerged, he was holding a blade, it looked very ordinary, but it was sword of the 8th heavenly immortals, ' He Xiang’gu ', behind the man was the celestial crane, it was Lord Alein, and he was carrying one of the legendary weapon which he had summoned from ancient china. He wore a white coat with the Zarthick dynasty insignia on it, his long coat which reached to his legs was blowing in the wind.
Lord Alein laughs hysterically, “How could you be scared of this man, he is nothing but greedy mortal who desired power, so he gave the lives of his loved ones, his sons, grandsons, mother, wife, father, friends, everybody, he gave their souls to the Azure Dragon, now they face eternal torment and are tortured beyond belief… All for the full potential of his chakras and that stupid sword. ”
The figure in the sky, eyes widen out of surprise, they immediately return to its previous state. Lord Alein swiftly charges at the figure, it is clash of swords, it looked like two lights swing wildly, it was so fast, you could even see the previous movements of the fighters, they were both looking for openings, the sound of the legendary blades hitting each other resounded throughout the entire forest. In the midst of this chaos, Lord Oscaster orders Elizabeth, Hitora and the ‘Cat spirit’ to mount the heavenly beast, and find safe place, but Elizabeth is very hesitant to leave her father, but he promises her that he’ll come back.

Once the King of heavenly beast is far enough, he summons the other heavenly beast from the divine realms, he orders them to support Lord Alein and Lord Oscaster in battle. The king coordinates an assault on the mages on standby causing the soldiers to not wake up when Lord Oscaster kills them.
As Lord Alein was fighting Karna in short range battle, Lord Oscaster was buffing Lord Alein stats, these weren’t ordinary buffs, and these were really powerful buffs that could raise his abilities to thrice there capability, helping him to catch up with Karna.
But, suddenly, Karna, releases a very powerful strike making Lord Alein go flying into the atmosphere, but all of the heavenly beast unleash there strikes on Karna, but using his qi, the damage is restored, his blade slice through each and everyone
Lord Oscaster repeatedly uses his finest spells on Karna, but they all but deflected, even the King of Heavenly Beasts, could not even lay a scratch on him.
Lord Alein comes zooming through the air behind Karna, but he just moves laterally away from the strike, and as the Lord went past him, he struck, Chun Jun, blade of the king, forged from legendary runes and the legendary jade treasure, into his back, it’s golden light piercing the body.
Lord Alein screams in pain, warm blood runs down his chest. Karna pulls the sword further up his torso, splitting his torso. As Karna is taking his time killing Lord Alein, Lord Oscaster, summoned a spear behind karna, and it pierced through his head. As he lost consciousness, Lord Oscaster healed Lord Alein.
Strangely Hitora and Elizabeth, who is now still in her psychopathic state, was coming back here.
“Why on earth are you coming here!” shouted Lord Oscaster.
“Didn’t you kil-“
“NO HE WILL REVIVE HIMSELF SOON!”

“… Lord Oscaster, I need to speak with him,” says Lord Alein in a weary voice.
Hitora kneels next to Lord Alein as he says his final words.
“Maybe I should’ve told you, but Karna can actually see the next few years in the future, thus why he came to kill you, you should know that your existence is shouldn’t be a threat to him, you’re not powerful, yet, he came here to get you… It is because he knows you’re a threat to him, I’m not sure why… It must’ve been some sort dimensional shift that allowed you to come here, or so I thought… What I’m trying to say is, you are destined to defeat him...”
Hitora was shocked, it was like some sort of revelation to him, How am I meant to kill him if he can see into the future…
The group ran far away, taking Lord Alein to safety.
