《Sandbox of Interest》Chapter 6

"I refuse to believe that this happened." A girl with white hair and purple eyes said.
"Can't be helped, it is partially the system's fault actually." A woman with white hair and purple eyes said who looks older than the girl but young enough to be her sister. "Perhaps something interesting will come from this, no?"
"But mother, this hasn't occured with my other two sisters..." Astoria said with a lower than usual voice.
"In the end, the three of you are still young, only being centuries old. It is only inevitable, you aren't your other two sisters either. So don't compare yourself to them or otherwise you won't grow well." Callaly said, hugging Astoria from behind.
"But that isn't all mother. The Serrated-Eared rabbits have returned and now Aliyah doesn't even stand a chance, not even with the Pheonix Hourglass protecting her, and the Pheonix Hourglass will shatter because of that."
"If that happens then that is it for the Pheonix Hourglass, there are still many other World Hourglasses out there that you still have. Nevertheless, Callaly believes in you, my child. Callaly recommends that you don't give up on the Pheonix Hourglass."
"Wait, I just got an idea, what about sending her on a mission?"
"Callaly recommends against that. TRUTH is currently on the move. Our network is already spread thin by sending out Caden's entire party. You will just get her killed then and there. But on that note, Callaly wonders who will end up dealing with TRUTH, because no matter what we do, TRUTH will eventually manage to infiltrate our network."
"TRUTH? The True Concept?"
"Yes. The True Concept who was subdued many years ago. Unfortunately she isn't able to seal TRUTH."
"Why not just destroy TRUTH? I've heard that she could do that."
"She can, but we the higher existences would rather not deal with an unknown new True Concept that would birth after shattering TRUTH. And it seems that she can't see anything when she shatters it. She can read TRUTH entirely however."
"Then why hasn't she directed us towards anything?"
"She said that if things go the way they are currently directed towards, she will be able to seal TRUTH for an aeon. None of the higher existences dare defy her as she is the supreme existence."
"Then what about him?"
"Him? You mean the Progenitor? He's completely useless against her. He may be almighty against everyone but she is an exception to that. He also can't do anything to TRUTH as TRUTH is stronger than him. Anyways we're off topic. Although time here is stopped, Callaly cannot do this for very long or it will offset the balance. But Callaly has an idea for what to do as a mission."

"Really? Can you please tell me mother?"
"When Caden finishes his mission, we will use Almerati's domain and teleport everyone there. There, we will hold an institution for learning that is disguised as a mission."
"So, your saying we will be making an academy?"
"Do not worry about the teachers and staff. There is still Callaly's subordinates from Callaly's mortal days."
"Those old monsters!? Are you sure? And how are they still alive to this day!?" For the first time, Astoria shows a break in her exceedingly cool composure.
"How rude, they can hear you if you say that." Callaly chides Astoria.
"A- I'm sorry!" Astoria apologizes immediately.
"Your mother isn't the one who you should be apoligizing to." A mature masculine voice sounds from behind. "Well, actually that's wrong; your mother isn't the only one you should be apoligizing to."
"Chris?" Astoria calls out as she turns around and sees a man in his twenties with sharp ears that point upwards.
"I still remember the days when you called us something other than old monsters." A seductive female voice sounds and a woman in her thirties with feline ears on top of her head appears right next to Astan.
"Aratisla?"
"Callaly feels that it is nice to see that you are both here. You know what to do. Go."
"Yes, Demon Goddess." The masculine voice says and fades into gray.
"Demon Goddess Callaly, do you wish for me to weaken or cull the monsters for Aliyah?"
"Neither. It will harm Aliyah's growth if we were to act. Her Unique ability... It can transform..."
"Very well then, I believe in the Goddess's vision." Callaly's head swings up suddenly.
"It seems the True Goddess Almerati and Chris needs my help. I guess I should've expected this." Callaly then says. "Help Astoria with managing her other chosen. It seems that Isia is having issues as it appears that rifts between Brumane and Isia are beginning to appear."
"Yes Demon Goddess. That reminds me of your former title; Demon Monarch of Prism."
"Those days weren't that great as the days now however, don't you think so Aratisla?"
"I still lived those days and had as much respect for you as I do now however." Aratisla responded as she kneeled to Callaly. "I'll be bringing the twins as well for Astoria."
"Those two?" Callaly says as she turns away. Horns appear on both sides of her head. "I remember the days at that place." Aratisla smiles in response.

""You called?"" Two voices that had different tones rang out.
"Asther? Feldur? So you came." Aratisla said.
"Well we heard that something exciting may be happening so we came!" A person with a bright perky voice said.
"Don't leave the two of us out of this, my Queen." A confident but slightly less energetic voice said.
"She's called Goddess now Asther! Haven't we gone over this the last few centuries?" Feldur appears long with Asther.
"My apoligies, my Goddess." Asther immediately apoligized.
"Not a problem. Please handle this." Callaly said then she immediately disappeared from the room.
Astoria begins to break out in cold sweat as all the other females in the room all looked at her at once.
"I'm sorry, sisters?" Astoria quivers.
"That's not going to cut it ya know, Demon Princess?" A bit of malice is mixed into the energetic voice of Feldur as she begins to hover over to Astoria.
"Yes, the words of the Demon Princess are indeed a great treasure, but by Callaly saying nothing, that means she won't stop what we are going to do to you." Asther said with what appears to be a crooked smile on her face.
"You do know that I am your older blood related sibling? Yes? We may be half or less, but there is still a connection..." Louis says with a bit of leaking out pressure that overpowers Astoria's aura.
Moments later, a miserable Astoria who is constantly saying 'evil, cruel, etc.' is being drawn on by Feldur who is peacefully humming away. Feldur's cat ears twitch occasionally and so does Asther's.
Asther looks at Aratisla and Aratisla's ears twitch as well while Aratisla beamed back at Asther. "Is there something wrong, Wein'Seth sisters?"
"No your Highness, it's just that there's a bit of a change in this domain, did you not notice?" Asther asked curiously.
"Now that you mention it, I do notice it now." Aratisla said as she went behind a desk.
Aratisla sits and looks at the papers infront of her. After reading the page, she looks at another and repeats the process.
"My mother appears to have deactivated the domain's membrane and is using it for a port."
"A port? Why would she ever need to use it as a port?" Feldur responded.
"The only reason why my mother would use the domain as a port is if it has to do with mortals."
"Couldn't she use her powers of Prism and create countless rifts?" Asther asked.
"I'm afraid it's not so simple as I am also one of those with Prism. The rifts will collide with each other and cause instability in a universe if carelessly used. It may accidently create a pocket universe which would disrupt the universe as it won't register well with the SYSTEM."
"Is that so?"
"Do remember that she isn't almighty as she is right now. Sure she can take on both Phyriam and Virtuacra as she did in the past when she was transcending, but there are some restrictions to her power now."
"Mother is-" Astoria started.
"Shush. The higher entities are listening right now as the membrane is currently down." Aratisla cut off Astoria.
"Yes, Elder Sister." replied with obedience.
"Capijune Queen, what is the current plan?" Feldur asked.
"Well first, we deal with this." Louis said as she points to an unconscious girl.
In the Capital City of the Lushi Republic, Koru.
"Military, report!" A heavy voice errupts.
"Sir! The attack from the Evertus Kingdom has been brought down! We took down three ships and captured the flag ship while capturing all four commanders! Our ship has sustained heavy but repairable damages! We also have captured the nano technology that they use for their ships!" A man in a tuxedo, Hamphony responds.
"Domestics, report!" The same heavy voice reports once again.
"There has been recent reports of people disappearing. Our sources from the Magician's Plight have reported that there are disruptions in the space and rifts are appearing!"
"Planetary invasion?"
"No sir! The rifts appear to go to a world without magic!"
"Ignore the rift then, it will go away, and anyone who is foolish enough to step foot on this world from that world will die within seconds."

8 120The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.
