"Eden, you need to get out of here!"
Rey gritted his teeth. He could clearly see Eden's body getting trampled to pieces in his mind.
"Kid, How many times must I repeat myself."
Suddenly a translucent wall appeared behind both Rey and Eden. It started growing in height and length, until it formed a closed cube. The area they were in was now imprisoned inside the the translucent cube.
The Six of Hearts trapped Rey and Eden inside the cube. There was no way for them to escape his raging familiar.
'Shit!'
Rey cussed inwardly. The scene in his mind was slowly unfolding itself in front of his eyes. He knew after the cube completely formed they would have to fight with their lives on the line.
'Can we break this?'
He looked at the wall behind him, a memory suddenly popped out as he thought of breaking out of the cage. In his memories he saw himself trying to break through the prison, but it ended up in disaster. The familiar would start moving and start to assault them.
"We must incapacitate that hooded man. We can't get out of here if he's constantly supplying energy to this prison like spell."
Rey whispered to Eden. Eden nodded her head, she understood what Rey was planning. The bracelets under her sleeves started to crumble. Two daggers similar to Rey's appeared in both of her hands.
Rey was surprised, but he quickly focused on the battle that would ensue in front of him.
"Ms. Eden, after the count of three quickly get out of this area."
Eden nodded her head once more. She trusted Rey's words, she felt like he knew how the situation would unfold.
"Three..."
"Two..."
"One..."
Zwoop....BWOOOOOOOOM!
The familiar suddenly disappeared where it was standing and instantly appeared in front of them. Its large thick appendages slammed on the ground creating web like cracks. Rey and Eden were nowhere to be found, they were using the dust that lifted as a cover.
FWIP! FWIP!
Two daggers exited the floating dust cloud, embedding themselves in the body of the familiar. The familiar didn't even flinch, compared to its size it's just a needle wound.
The daggers vanished from its body and reappeared somewhere else.
'Tch. Violet rank weapons don't do anything against it.'
Two daggers were slowly reforming in his hands. He glanced at Eden beside him, her daggers seemed like it was also low tier like his.
"Hey, what bracelets do you have?"
Rey asked. Eden quickly rolled up her sleeve and showed 2 bracelets on each hand. They were the same as Rey's. A sigh escaped his mouth, he was hoping she at least had a blue tier bracelet.

"Eden, lets stack our buff spell together and simultaneously assault the hooded man."
"What about the familiar?"
"I'll distract it."
Rey didn't want Eden to distract the familiar. The sight of her being squashed flat was weighing on his mind, he didn't know when it would happen, but he knew it would happen.
The dust cloud began to settle and both of them began to move. The buffing spell they both casted on themselves and each other gave a huge boost. In terms of strength they can be comparable to Late Rife Class hunters.
KWANG!
Flying sparks flew out of the clash between sword and daggers. Eden was currently confronting the red hooded man.
"Hey you big oaf!"
The familiar turned its head towards Rey who was jumping up and down in front of it. It had a blank looking expression on its face, but Rey knew it was currently agitated.
KWUDUDUNG!
Its appendages slammed at the location Rey was currently in. A dust cloud formed once more.
Tak. Tak. Tak.
Quick footsteps could be heard emanating from the dust cloud. Suddenly a figure bursted out of the chaos and started running atop the appendages of the familiar.
Rey quickly ran up towards the face of the monster and jammed his dagger inside its hole like face. He felt great resistance as the daggers entered the opening. Rey gritted his teeth as he put more force in his thrust.
'I can't pierce through. If I had a blue tier weapon, I would've at least done more damage.'
"GUWOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
It felt a sharp burning sensation enter its opening. The familiar started to thrash in pain. It was trying to swat Rey off of its face.
THWAP!
As Rey jumped off of its head, he was lightly grazed by a stray tentacle from the familiar as it randomly thrashed around.
THUD!
Rey hit the ground poorly. He lost consciousness for a moment. Fortunately, he woke up after a few seconds.
"Urk..."
Rey winced in pain. Due to the armor absorbing some of the impact he didn't suffer any serious damage. His leather armor had a deep cut on its side. A shallow wound could be found where the deep cut ended. Blood was pouring down his side. His entire body was sore and screaming in pain from the impact, but he had to keep fighting.
The familiar was still thrashing around. Rey's daggers were still embedded on its face, and it was having a hard time removing it. He looked towards the distance and saw the Six of Hearts and Eden.

Eden was surprisingly overpowering the Six of Hearts. It seemed like the more the familiar moved around, the more energy it taxed from the Six of Hearts. The man was showing signs of exhaustion, he needed to either unsummon his familiar or the cube prison.
Rey stood up after surveying the battlefield and placed his gaze upon the familiar. The daggers seem to have been dislodged, It was currently staring at Rey.
Zwooop....
"AGGHH!"
The familiar teleported once more to close the distance between them. The Six of Hearts' scream rang in the background. He staggered as the familiar teleported, it drained a vast amount of energy from him. In that moment of weakness, Eden slashed at him. A deep gash appeared on his side.
BWOOOOM.
Deadly, wild force rained down as the familiar smashed the ground with its clawed tentacles. Rey barely managed to dodge the area of impact. He quickly ran to its legs and cut at its heels.
Every time he slashed it would simply leave a shallow wound, not enough to tip the beast off balance. The familiar appeared to have a wax like appearance, but its skin was thick and tough like leather. Rey was having a hard time cutting through it.
He couldn't run away from the familiar this time. There was no distraction to keep it in place, all he could do was annoy it. He needed to buy enough time for Eden to incapacitate the Six of Hearts.
"GWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAARGGG"
The familiar roared in frustration. It couldn't keep up with Rey's skittishness. Every time it attacked only the ground met its force. It wanted to squash the tiny human running around it.
FWIP! FWIP!
thwup. thwup.
Rey threw his daggers towards the familiar's face, but it quickly blocked it. It knew the pain of being stabbed in its weak area, It didn't want it to happen again. As it lowered its appendages that blocked the attack, Rey was nowhere to be seen.
Rey was currently admiring the view as he stood on top of the familiars head. The familiar was too focused in catching him, this allowed him to create a gap in its sight and make his way above his head.
'I can see my house from here.'
The familiar was quickly turning its head to look for Rey. It had no idea he was on its head. Rey quickly dropped to its face and brandished his daggers. He thrusted it towards the opening once more.
"GWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORGHHHHHHKKKKKKKKKK"
The familiar thrashed in anger. The burning sensation was felt on its face once more, the pain it wasn't used to was making it more and more angrier. Its tentacles reached for its face and swung at the air around it. It didn't know where Rey was, but it was hoping it would hit him as it swung randomly.
Rey calmly slid down its back instead of jumping off of its head. He didn't want to get grazed by another stray tentacle. He would die if the tentacle hit him directly.
Everything was going well. He had some time before he needed to engage with the familiar once more. He sorted his memories.
In his memories, after Eden was crushed by the familiar. He would be left on death's door. The Six of Hearts and the familiar quickly made work of him and left him thinking he was dead.
'After that...'
The memories ended there. Rey doesn't know what would happens next.
'At least I saved Eden from her fate.'
He looked at the fight between the Six of Hearts and Eden, it seemed like things were wrapping up. A sigh escaped his mouth.
'Are these my memories?'
It was absurd. This was his first time experiencing this event, yet he knew how it would end. The memories served its purpose, the scene in front of him was the exact opposite from his memories.
gwoooooom...
The translucent wall around them started to fade. It was time for them to escape. Rey smiled and prepared to call Eden. They would both run away and report this incident, the buffing spell was currently running out, they couldn't fight anymore.
FWEEWEET
Rey's heart dropped. He looked at the familiar who was supposed to be thrashing in rage, it wasn't there anymore. He quickly looked back at the battle between Eden and the Six of Hearts.
An ominous shadow dawned upon Eden. Rey saw the familiar behind Eden, Its tentacles were raised up poised to strike. Rey's expression turned grim, He remembered this scene. He thought he had averted it.
Time seemed to move slowly. Rey saw the menacing tentacles slowly approach Eden's location. The Six of Heart's face started to slowly brighten, a triumphant smile started to form.
Rey grasped at the air helplessly, and ran towards Eden. A grim expression present on his face.
"EDEN! NOOOOOOOOOO!"
