《Demon Contractor Unknowingly Becomes Less Of A Jerk》Chapter 9:Rakasha Worshipper(1)

I grow three more Fleische Verlets and make another bowl of juice for the brat to drink, adding a bit more diced fruit flesh than the previous serving since it seems that along with a sudden growth spurt, her damaged organs have been fully repaired, though it seems her spine has been altered a small bit. While it still may be human it seems that additional bone and muscle clusters have formed on her upper back, similar to the base of bird's wings.
"It seems that she won't become a demon but just in case I should prepare a contract for her."
While Draumr is my slave his followers aren't since technically speaking they aren't his property, so I can't directly control them. The most I can do is threaten to take away the mana Draumr gifted them or I can beat them into submission, unfortunately, because the contract places special emphasis on protecting and maintaining his follower's faith I can't outright steal the mana gifted to the tricksters and disorderly and gift it to a more capable servant as that would still count as harming a follower. One gone and one new changes nothing.
"The contract is looser than I expected but still this is a little excessive...I'll think of ways to play later, for now I should investigate the human village."
As the incarnation of Draumr any creature with even a speck of intelligence will enter a vegetative state if they get too close to the brat with me being the only exception since the mana and tail she has in her soul is my slave. So after making sure the brat is safe I begin my trip to the humans, fully prepared for any trouble that might occur since even if it is night I should be careful as I'm sure the humans have increased their security since the group they sent out with the brat hasn't returned yet. I exit the hut and begin moving on the treetops, slowly making my way to the humans, making sure to glance up at the cloudy night sky every now and then. The winds are chilly and clear clouds gently drift across the sky, filling my view, a small amount of snow falls from them adding to the palm thick layer of snow covering the treetops, making it a bit of a hassle to move. Even with the thick snow and clouds, the bright moon's gentle blue light flows through, in the form of small strands, blurry lights, and small thick pillars.
Because of the snow blanketing the trees, I have to move slower than I want, eventually becoming so annoyed I, for a single moment regret tearing my wings off my back. So I increase my speed, eventually making it to the outskirts of the human village after a few minutes.

"...no I need to be sure."
After circling around the village twice and using my eyes to check the humans average individual mana strength, I have found enough reason to investigate my suspicions. It's an ordinary village, the wood homes are well built and the protective wall is strong unfortunately it shouldn't be like this as not too long ago this forest was Slyvia's sleeping spot. I move to the human with the weakest mana signature, and after confirming that there are no humans strong enough to pose a significant threat I begin to prepare the safest communication method. I create a ball of water and begin to slowly form it into a small but thick and durable bubble, wrapping it around my mouth and filling it with Draumr's mana, commanding it to move slightly below the top of the wall, eventually dropping it on her head.
The human yells out that she has to relieve herself and moves to the left of me, making her way towards the west wall, where the seventh strongest human guard sits. I follow closely as she moves, making another command filled bubble, and send it to the guarding human, making it so that she won't notice any strange behavior and will actively explain the other woman's behavior away if anyone notices the first girls odd bathroom behavior. Following my commands, she moves to the forest area in front of the human with the highest influence in terms of social ranking in the village or guarding group with the excuse of relieving herself. She moves deep enough into the forest so I begin collecting information.
"How long has this village been here?"
"Three years."
"Was it built with the knowledge that Sylvia sleeps in this forest."
"Yes."
"...Where is the priest overseeing your little project?"
"He is studying the great goddesses resting spot."
...shit...okay no I need to investigate this more.
"Go take a shit then move back to your original position, you will forget everything that has happened in the last thirty minutes the moment you return to position, move as fast as you can."
There's already a good enough chance of meeting a real Rakasha worshipper, now the humans can freely live next to Sylvia for years. It doesn't matter whether the priest can visit Sylvia's resting stop without repercussions, all that matters is that I don't know how these humans survived this long without their blessings betraying them or how they did it so It's best I run. Unfortunately, as I begin to move, ignoring the brat's existence, the contract acts up, causing my heart to experience an extreme burning sensation.
"Damn it I forgot I can't just leave the brat to die."

Without any hesitation I ask the king to give me as much blood as possible, making sure to fully express the possible dangers of the situation, with clear panic he sends enough blood to form five palm-sized crystals. I use two to heal my wings and fly into the air, gently floating over thirty branches around me and activating my eyes. High in the sky with my gorgeous white wings gently flapping, I begin operation divine wrath. I send one branch flying filling it with Sylvia's mana, causing it to instantly transform into a house-sized elder oak, before the newborn tree can crash into my targets I repeat the process with another branch, then another. In an instant twelve elder oaks fall from the sky, crushing the villages protective walls, their roots instantly latching onto the dirt, blocking any possible exit for the humans.
Every single human on or near the walls has been either crushed or injured. Suddenly the humans exit their homes and look up the sky, looking for the source of the divine energy raining down upon them, seeing a small shadow surrounded by trees, despite the large green and brown patches surrounding it the most impactful part of the shadow is the bright lights that seem to be its eyes. Suddenly the green patches begin to split and grow, filling their sight with nothing but pure green. A loud boom spreads across the sky as the green patches begin to fall. Before each and every single humans final breath they thought.
"Praise be our goddess."
Seeing as every single human is dead I fly to the brat, arriving in front of the hut in a minute, immediately entering so I can grab the kid, only to stop in my tracks, as a true blood Rakasha worshipper is kneeling next to her, his eyes clearly focused on her hair. His skin is tan and he's wearing a loose blue pelt shirt with long fluffy sleeves and a thick cotton collar along with a long skirt with long slits starting at his knees and ending at the wool ringed bottom. On his head is the skull of a pureblood bear, as to what kind I have no idea.
"Nice gauntlets."
"Thank you."
His body is rather slim and short for a Rakasha worshipper but the crystal gauntlets and the shining golem cores that rest on his wrists provide clear undeniable proof of his identity. He moves to me, wearing a slight smile, and offers me his palm. When a Rakasha worshipper meets a person of reasonable interest they offer that person the opportunity to touch their weapon as a sign of acknowledgment.
"Thank you for your generosity but I have to reject. If you can answer a question or two I wouldn't mind accepting your acceptance."
"Ask and I shall answer."
"Thank you. First how exactly are you capable of forming coherent sentences let alone maintain consciousness."
"This girl's hair shows that she is a worshipper of the divine crow but she is too young to have possibly achieved this level of acceptance so there are two possibilities. She is the daughter of a high ranking priest but she's much too skinny, that and she has no noble aura or she could be a chosen one, considering the tail on her, the lumps on her upper back, and hair color I can only come to this conclusion. She seems to be in the process of fully accepting the crow's gift so there's a good chance that any protective spells placed on her have been set by the divine crow meaning as long as I show nothing but pure neutrality and care as well as temporary strengthen my mind I should be fine."
...Okay then, of course, the ascension seeker knows more about the brats transformation than me...Oh well, it's not like I have ever seen the birth of an incarnation, and besides, I was kind of right. Yup, it's all the brats fault I'm slightly wrong.
"Do you plan to make the kid your trial?"
"If possible I would like to follow you and the child until she reaches the appropriate age or strength. Is that acceptable, if you wish I can offer you my complete protection."
"You will follow and protect us anyway."
I decide to infuse plenty of Draumr's mana in my words so that I won't have to go through the trouble of negotiation, unfortunately, the man manages to block Draumr's mana, putting on an expression of extreme rage the moment a single word escapes my mouth.
"I see you've devoured quite a few priests."
The man stands up and begins to enter an attack stance. His bones begin to creak and his skin begins to change color, he begins to transform into a Quali tribesman. His forearms extended and his feet grow longer and thinner, the toes combining to form three large fur-covered stubs, His skin turns pale white and thin brown fur sprouts from every part of his body, the areas around his fox-like ears being the thickest. Before his transformation is complete he leaps at me, with his mouth wide open as his face begins to thin and stretch.
"Be quiet and sit still."
