《Demon Contractor Unknowingly Becomes Less Of A Jerk》Chapter 8:Little Girls Dreamland(2)

This time I find myself in a room fit for the child of the greatest priest. The walls are painted chestnut brown, golden symbols similar to blooming flowers cover the roof, flowing through the crystal chandelier above the small pink bed.
Creak
I look behind me and see the same priest that recruited the brat walk in with two bowls in his hand. He's wearing a bright smile as he moves to the pink bed, moving as if he wants to do a small dance but just can't.
"Come, little traitor, it is time to eat."
[...Maybe I should help the kid out a bit. I can kill her when the deals over or when she reaches the age of twenty.]
Seeing that priest wearing that familiar human smile, I knew that brat was forced to experience one of the cruelest tortures. Back when I was an ordinary soldier, in one of our port town capture attempts the humans had allied with the beastmen and managed to successfully surround and capture me and my brothers. The method used to force me and my brothers to betray each other was evil, even by human standards. We would be forced to eat or drink poisoned soups that would cause us to violently vomit, crap, and piss then feed us the nutrition pills their troops would use, Sylvia's worshippers would use healing magic that would speed our body's absorption rate and heal any significant damage. This would continue for days. We would shit, eat the same bland soup, swallow the same large pill, being forced to drink a poison that would cause us the empty our bladders the moment we chocked on those dry pills, then repeated the process until our stomach lining was destroyed, then we'd be healed and the whole process would repeat.
The brat crawls out from under the bed, her face looks similar to mine before the king appeared and saved us. Her eyes are sunken and clouded, her hair a mess with several small missing patches, and her skin a deep shade of white.
"You fell down didn't you? Why don't I help you up so that you can enjoy a nice meal."
"...p...ple...as...e....s...s..t....o...p"
Hearing her quiet whisper his face switched from one of pure joy to one of extreme annoyance. He walks up to her and lifts her up, placing her on the bed after making a back support out of the fluffy pink blanket on the bed. Just as he begins to forcibly pour the contents of one of the two bowls down her throat Draumr's mana, a mana so dense it looks like a thick black liquid, began to pour out her eyes and mouth. The priest's eyes go dull as a familiar spell begins to invade his body. He moves to the floor and removes one of the bed's legs, standing up after confirming its sharpness and using some of his mana to make it grow roots that pierce the thick checkered flooring. He steps away from it and falls, the point of the removed bed leg piercing his eye, reaching beyond the back of his skull.

The brat, instead of being shocked or scared continues to sit still, her eyes maintaining the same dull light as they continue to stare at the mess of blood, hair, and brain matter. I'm used to imbuing my words with mana, it makes forming a contract a lot easier, though it does make it so that the terms I can set are extremely limited, using a small bit of hypnosis is very different from invading something's dreams. Once again the scene begins to change, this time though I find myself in the middle of a familiar forest.
"You filthy traitor, why do you reveal you cursed head to the great goddess! Do you want me to kill you!"
In front of me is the same group of humans that thankfully decided to end their filthy lives. The same man attempts to kick the brat, forming a mess of incoherent words as he moves, suddenly stopping and committing suicide by snapping his neck after smashing his head against the ground within five steps. Everything goes silent as the brat begins to smile, suddenly everything around me begins to change color, a deep purple began to pour out from the kid's feet, spreading and dying everything different shades of purple.
The group continues to move after a long silence.
Eventually, a familiar sexy, handsome, glorious, tough-looking demon appears, jumping in front of the brat
"Praise be Draumr, The all-seeing eye, and the ever-changing dream. The bringer of truth and awakener of potentials!"
A man covered in bloody fur, leaves, and mud appears expressing clear hostility towards the humans in front of him. Suddenly the purple covering the world begins to shrink, wrapping around the man that just appeared in front of her.
"When war broke out he would travel through the minds of the poor, guiding them, breaking the soul's walls, and bringing endless potentials to life. Through our shared minds he finds sympathy and with our shared wills we find strength."
The humans respond to his clear hostility in kind but fail as the genius demon uses a very familiar spell with absolute beauty.
"Die."
[Ah, It feels good to see those filthy humans die again and in such detail too.]
The purple surrounding the incredibly handsome copy of me begins to intensify, growing several shades darker.

"Come on you stupid human, you work for me now."
Suddenly the purple surrounding my body begins to collect around my copy's head and chest, dimming and disappearing after several seconds.
"That's right I'm a demon but that doesn't matter. As you can see I hate you, I hate humans in general. Your no different from any other human in my eyes even with normal hair I would still hate you. I don't care what you think, I don't care what you look like, I don't care who you worship. In my eyes your the same as all those detestable humans."
[This is fun and all but I really want to leave. I guess, for now, I should try feeding the kid some more mana and work from there.]
Suddenly, as Draumr's mana begins to flow, a massive tear appears in front of me, a long collection of bones grabbing me and pulling me in. In an instant, the various colors and objects disappear, replaced by a familiar but different setting. Above me is a shining purple moon surrounded by several colorful lights, below me is a purple mirror spanning as far as my eyes can see, and in front of me is a giant golden column covered in shining symbols. As I begin to examine my surroundings the sky begins to shake, a collection of bones begins to wrap around and slide down the column.
[...The fucker gave her his tail!...what in the fuck was it because of the dragon newt raid or is it because of the ink thing?]
Usually, only the four gods incarnations are given on some bone marrow from the father or mother god, to gift a candidate for the rank of apostle more than a drop of blood essence is exceedingly rare, with the greatest gift recorded is a single finger gifted to a random hobgoblin after it drank the blood of a pure-blooded elder dragon.
[...maybe I should ask Sylvia instead of going by the writing of blind followers and homeless land travelers.]
The giant bone tail suddenly leaps at me, as if trying to squash the intruder to death but stop a few inches away from my face as it is, even when separated, a piece of Draumr so it must obey the contract.
[Let me out and let me out now.]
The bone tail moves away from me and whips at the area in front of the pillar, creating a small tear in space. Since it cannot harm me I go through the tear with zero fear of betrayal.
-Tree Hut-
Ignoring the intense headache currently bashing my head I move to the brat so that I can check her body. Her hair is the same, her skin is the same, her legs and arms are the same...she has a tail? Above her bum is a fleshy tail as thick as her palm and as long as her legs.
"Well the brats definitely not going to like this...eh its a good chance to turn her into something other than human so I guess that's good."
As long as she doesn't begin to transform into a demon it should be fine and if she does I'll just kill her. I refuse to allow one of my brethren to be birthed by a filthy human. She'll likely turn into one of those acheans so I shouldn't worry too much and if she does turn into something other than demon she'll lose that pesky human nature.
"I wonder how extreme your transformation will be brat?"
I place her back on the wood floor and cover her with the canenane skin, beginning treatment once again.

How to have fun in an apocalypse (Rewrite)
After spending an unsavory amount of time in hell, our protagonist finally manages to escape the place that had kept him captive for so long... again. Unfortunately, even after plotting and planning for years, he ends up in a place not much different from the burning and agonizing Tartarus he once had to call home. Guts, blood, and carnage start to reign over Earth as soon as he set foot in it, much to his dismay. What use is it to cry over spilled milk, though? Tired of the monotony of endless torture, he steps into the world intending to have as much fun as possible. While others might try to raid the Orc Lord with as many people as possible, why not challenge him to an arm-wrestling tournament? The power of friendship will surely be on his side. Why hide from the big, bad wolf in one of your houses if wearing camo in plain sight should have the same effect? Now, making friends and going on adventures would be perfectly fine, if it wasn't for the fact that he hides a few more secrets than one might think at first. This is a complete rewrite! Due to being unsatisfied with the previous version, I have decided to work the story up, beginning from the older chapters! Version 2.0 includes: - enhanced writing and editorial skills - additional information and aspects to characters - minor deviation from storyline and improvements

Cinder Souls II
Dark Souls is known as one of the hardest game series to have ever existed and with the third installment of Dark Souls, being Dark Souls 3, the makers of the game decided to not make another. With the licensing of the game being put into limbo, a game company called Virtual World decided to buy the right to make another game in the series, this game was called Cinder Souls. Something was different about this game compared to the rest of the series and that was it is on the World Gear, a device that put your consciousness inside of the game and gave you complete control of your character's body. This game exploded and sold over 5 million copies in the first week since it had something other games didn't. Freedom. You could do 18+ actions, take over kingdoms, destroy guild bases entirely, and even rob NPCs. Of course there are laws in certain areas that prohibited certain actions but that all depended on what guild was in control of the land you are at. There are 4 continents with there being several countries dividing each continent into different sections and each having their own difficulties. The strongest continent of them all is Land of the Gods, which only the most legendary of players can enter and become apart of. It is a small island which only has 10 inhabitants but these 10 people could easily take over any other continent on the planet but decide to lay dormant on the island, waiting for something strong to spice up the game. Each of these 10 players is considered a God in the game and even have their own following base. Each God had major influence over the millions of other players in the game but that was all in the past. Now it is time for an update, a completely new world with new enemies and new beginnings for all and that update is coming soon. Its supposed to arrive in one day in fact. This update would have new quests and new adventures and the game title will be changed to Cinder Souls II, whether you kept your character or not is unknown but what was known was that the real world was excited for this. Since it was an update, you didn't have to repurchase the game so old players began to dust off their old copies and prepare for the copious amounts of fun in store for them. This story follows one of the best players to have ever graced the game, Frew, the God of Miracles, and his new adventures but it is not as expected. Not one of the 14 million players could expect what would be coming up next in Cinder Souls II nor would anyone be prepared for it. *****WARNING, IF YOU ARE HERE FOR THE VIRTUAL REALITY ASPECT IT IS NEXT TO NONE EXISTANT EXCEPT FOR CHAPTERS IN THE FAR FUTURE***** For the original cover picture, check out this link! ----> https://www.pinterest.com/pin/420875527667199123

In the civilized world of humans, 'monsters' have all but passed into legend. But when something goes bump in the night, when people begin to disappear, when a dark mystery begins to haunt even the most peaceful villages, there is only one organization to turn to: the Hunters. The Venatori. Having lived a life of discipline and service, former soldier Caiden Voros finds something even worse than the wars of humans: the monsters that hunt them. Horrors yet unknown even to him and his many scars await in the claws, talons, fangs, and mysterious powers of creatures so far beyond humans that he must dedicate himself entirely to the art of slaying them. Harboring a secret of his own and in a constant struggle to find answers while maintaining his sanity, however, Caiden begins to ask the age-old question... Who is truly worse, the monsters or the Men? Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends is an episodic collection of stories, each of which stand on its own, but they also build upon each other in a consecutive order, bridging a gap between a novel and short story collection. These stories follow monster hunter Caiden Voros and his partner Gwen Vergil as they embark on tales of mystery, horror, and adventure to track down monsters - the living dead, beast-men, shape-shifters, spirits, and many more - that would do harm to innocent lives and, by whatever means necessary, put a stop to their terrors. Their motives, however, are not always what they seem.
