《Story of the twilights》[Book 1] Chapter 5: Camilla's Reflection

RIN’S POINT OF VIEW
Being a god really is tiring~ I wonder how the others keep their magic hidden~
Luckily no one can see me right now not even that useless henchman of mine~
BUT Riko-nee forgot my voice!? Everyone should know my voice! I’m the center of attention! Hmp! Even Akira can’t be an exemption! Wait… Riko-nee already left the room!? Then what should I do to pass time!? I glared at my henchman
Usagi: don’t look at me like that. You were the one that told me if she found the exit then let her leave.
Rin: Oh so you’d rather see me bored to death?
Usagi: I-it’s not that… Uhm Rin-chan, do you remember what you told me?
Rin: What did I tell?
Usagi: According to the information you gave me… won’t she be too clingy once you’ve all met up together
Rin: …I think I overlooked that… well no use crying over spilled milk~
Usagi: You always cry over spilled milk
Rin: Shut up! Just find me something to pass my time
Usagi: Fine, How about Camilla and Shion’s Trial?
I just rolled my eyes obviously telling him that anything would do
Wait… anything would do right!? Why don’t I change him into a bunny!? Yeah why don’t I do tha—
Usagi: please don’t think of anything dangerous
Hey! Changing you into a bunny isn’t dangerous, when’d I gave you permission no read my mind?
CAMILLA’S POINT OF VIEW
Oh no! another door! I quickly hid behind Shion who was just by my side a while ago. I feel like I’ve been traumatized by doors think of it you entered more than 8 doors each resulting in nothing good.
The first door was a terrible garbage maze where there were garbage monsters everywhere; never could I describe how awful it smelled
Advertisement
The second door contained some sort of weird type of slime that looks cute at first but has a creepy look when they go berserk and they love to do that once they see an enemy
The third door has this art gallery type of setting with paintings and sculpture that move, there we’re even mannequins that would run after you!
The fourth door leads to a house where in you have to kill stuff animals such as bears and live frogs just to leave; there was also this witch without legs and eyes running after us in the end
The fifth door has somewhat a weird variant of a dragon and a phoenix, which actually looks cute! It was by far the best door we have entered. We only have to answer a few questions then we’re out!
The sixth door was haunted with zombies and souls of the dead, I could still remember when one caught me by my leg; there was also this mad man that wanted to turn Shion and I into dolls
The seventh door has a mad man that uses a chain saw that could use any element. It was troublesome since he could use fire against my water and light against Shion’s bullets
The eighth door was full of music and dancing priestess that danced in a robotic and creepy way that few might puke from the sight itself!
Now there’s another door right in front of me and only looking at the door my instincts send me a danger signal but this is a danger I have yet to feel… Wait, I’ve already felt this type of danger
It’s the time Akira disappeared…
Oh no! I won’t disappear now would I?!
Shion: well then, Let’s go in
Camilla: Hey! That door’s obviously dangerous! Even more dangerous than the previous doors! Can’t you feel it?
Shion: Don’t you know the reason why we’re still entering doors? There are no other way to get out of this situation than entering the doors
Camilla: …
I hesitantly came in together with Shion.
Camilla: H-hey Shion… It’s pitch black in here…
I moved my hands left and right but I can’t touch anything seems like there’s nothing around here…
Camilla: SHION! HEY SHION! ANSWER ME SHION!... I’m not alone now am I?... Damn! [Petit ruban]
Spoiler : [Petit ruban] is Camilla’s pink hair ribbon that is also her weapon. [Petit ruban] is a magical weapon that can change its width, length and color
I activated my ruban ordering it to surround me in a defensive position where I could easily attack if I sense someone with ill intentions
Suddenly the lights turned on and I saw myself in a room full of mirrors as I looked carefully at all the mirrors there was a girl reflected in it and I refuse to believe that girl is me! I am surely not that girl!
I moved and stepped backwards and started to run away from the mirror but it seems like the road’s never ending! How can this be? That mirror should be reflecting me right? I remember what my face looks like and I don’t look like a monster!
RIN’S POINT OF VIEW
Rin: HAHAHAHAHA!
Usagi: Why do you keep laughing?
Rin: Cause Milla-nee’s funny!
Milla-nee’s on a huge room with a corridor that’s just never-ending it’s never ending cause it just rotates tell me does the world have an end? But for her to keep running around like that…
Rin: Pft… HAHAHAHA….
4 hours after…
Rin: Usagi-kun~ I’m bored seeing Milla-nee running around
Usagi: Well you can’t have any fun till her pair gets in position
Rin: But Shion-nee’s already in position 4 minutes ago~ I can see her head being swollen
Usagi: …I meant once Camilla stops running around
3 hours after…
Rin: Usagi-kun! Look Milla-nee already stopped running
CAMILLA’S POINT OF VIEW
Now I’m exhausted I sat down in the middle of the path trying to make sure I won’t get near the mirror ah~ I’m so tired
BANG!
Huh? What was that?... a bullet?! Is someone trying to kill me? Oh no! I need to leave this place! Luckily the attacker mistook the mirror as me ah but then I’ll have to run once again!
Camilla: Hey… why’s there a broken mirror?... w-was I r-running around in circles?! Damn! No one makes fun of me like this and gets away unscathed [Petit ruban] [Bind] [Mysteries of Water: Pressure]
Spoiler : [Bind] is a spell used to bind things using the ribbon
Spoiler : [Mysteries of water: Pressure] mysteries are ways to use water, so pressure is water pressure
RIN’S POINT OF VIEW
Oh~ so it was Shion-nee that helped Milla-nee figure it all out~ hehehe to think that the reflection trying to harm Milla-nee would be seen by Shion-nee okay. I’ll explain it to you. The reflections actually has a mind of its own and was just copying Milla-san as Usagi mentioned to camouflage itself it then tried to harm Milla-nee as Usagi ordered to end Milla-nee’s continues running but unfortunately Shion-nee saw the reflection move even before it reached Milla-nee.
Also. The reflection isn’t that bad… it just looked like her with a groups of pimples she over reacted a bit too much but probably cause she’s a model
~END~

Decompose!
Dear diary. When you read stories about some people missing and returning after years of absence claiming they were living in another world, your first reaction is to scoff and dismiss a story as a tall tale, right? I know I did. All the time. Until it happened to me and I no longer did. That day was today. Some god of thunder smote me. If it were Chris Hemsworth, I wouldn't mind but it was some barbaric Hitite god that abaondned Earth some four millennia ago. Yes, what can I say? I love the seventh art. I have more hours watching movies than any other activity, including sleep. What? Do you think I'm exaggerating? Maybe I am. I'll really miss hollywood the most. And my biggest regret is that I never got to visit the holy city of cinema. I did not come to another world to be a hero even though there was hints that they hoped I'd save it. I did not come with overpowered abilities able to, dunno, leap tall castles in a single bound, faster than a speeding crossbow bolt, be more powerful than a eight-horse carriage, the bounds. No. After the asshole god that murdered me brought me to his world, he gave me some boons from his discount bin and "The Power of my Soul (tm)". Forgive my french, I hope you understand I am rather upset at dying. And he somehow decided that my power is to recycle stuff. How awesome is that? Not much at first, I must admit. At least I got all my camping stuff and equipment with me. There's no lycra in the other world. I'll make it someday, but that day is not today. So here I am. In another world, in the middle of nowhere. I'm no heroine. As the song goes, I'm your basic average girl. And I'm assumed to be here to save the world. But almost everything can stop me, because I'm not named Kim. Wish me luck, diary. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This novel is going have the following features: slow-paced slice-of-life No GameLit / LitRPG elements. Movie references. Sandra likes the seventh art. Journal / diary style crafting (includes chemistry, engineering and metallurgy) low magic technological advancement (for Sandra, at least. She is not against sharing though) personal relations clash of perception between the modern and ancient customs. bits of tension, fighting, and plot here and there. I won't repeat myself though. Once she crafts a good batch of soap, for example, she'll just note, "I crafted soap again." Once it is estabilished how she obtains compound X, compound X2 that is obtainable from the same process will also just be mentioned. I'll try to be as realistic as I can with the crafting, chemistry, and technology. Cover: Public Domain Image by StockSnap from Pixabay. No attribution required but we do it anyway.

The Calculator - Supervillainess Time Loop
What makes a terrifying villain? Is it ruthlessness? Is it how powerful they are and how many buildings they can down in one blow? Is it how hard they are to kill, contain, or get rid of in any manner? Is it their knowledge of a hero’s true identity in a world where secrets must be kept? Or is it perhaps how they seem to be perfect in all their actions, defeating the hero at every step of the way throughout to the last one, only to humiliate them one last time before declaring themselves the winner in the grand scheme of things? Isabella Blair is perfect. She knows all your moves before you even make them. All your ambushes are faced with traps and she dodges all your blows like it’s child’s play. Catching her is impossible because she’s always ten steps ahead of you. She says she calculated everything, but she messes up in every fight. She loses far more than she wins, sometimes a hundred times for just one small victory. Yet, she is perfect. How is that possible, you may ask. That’s because she has the uncanny ability to return to the past whenever she makes a mistake. All that’s left in the end can only be what’s perfect if all the realities in which you’ve lost are gone, after all. And that makes for one hell of a terrifying profile. Crossposting on ScribbleHub, SpaceBattles, and Wattpad. Don't mind the "Pre-Rewrite" Volume. It is there for reference until the story catches up to the chapter count via the Rewrite (and to justify the current reviews as there would be no context to them otherwise). If you are a first-time reader, feel free to start from the other Volume.

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author. Hero:Generation
UPDATES WEEKLY The world of Hero: Generation diverges from our own in the 1970s on a night known as “The Aurora Event”. Beautiful and luminescent weather phenomena covered the planet, for ten short minutes every corner of the Earth was underneath a cascade of lights in the sky. It was days later before reports began to filter in, more than could be suppressed by Governments and Nations. The Alphas had arrived. A small percent of the global population began to exhibit otherworldly and super natural abilities, changing the course of humanity. The Vietnam Occupation ended over night, as each ruling nation took action to respond. In the coming years Alphas would begin to change the globe. Russia eventually became an Alpha nation ruled by a mysterious figure only known as Father Winter. America, Europe, and Australia become even larger superpowers as their Alpha populations exploded, in time a United Nations force known as The Guardians was established to police and document the Alpha emergence. The worlds foremost expert in Alpha studies, Dr. Pavel Laghari invented a system known as the Laghari Scale, that scored Alphas on a scale of 1 to 10 across a wide array of parameters ranging from relative physical abilities to other parameters. Now, in most civilized countries Alphas are required to be assessed the moment their powers manifest, or be in strict violation of local and international laws. In this Age of Heroes , The Guardians have designed a new Initiative to recruit younger Alphas and set them on a path to greatness. Every year teenage Alpha’s from all over the globe flock to secure locations to take part in the Guardians crucible. Many will enter, but few will earn the right to call themselves a Guardian.
