《Transmigration of the Wannabe Villain》23. Brief Introduction of Eus Power System
Advertisement
In the Ehren mansion...
After Yoro's group headed back home from their so-called investigation, the third of them were back into their respective errands.
With Chad there is back to his post as a mansion guard, and Cecilia continues to do whatever duty she left at before, just to come together with them.
And that's just left Yoro alone here, without any work or job to be done or finished at. And so, as usual, he would just go back to his father's library to read some books there... that is of course with his permission.
Yoro has set two goals for him to complete in this place, but unfortunately, there is none of them that were done or accomplished. The first goal of him is about finding Shiro and anything related to this guy, which like his father said, none of that name or title was written in this library.
And secondly, is about how the power system in Eus works. Ad didn't tell him anything about the existence of the power system before, and it's also clear that the original Yoro is clueless about this thing too.
He just realized the existence of this classification when he fought that gang leader before. Using clairvoyance, one of the future possibilities that appear is a thing about him being called an intermediate swordsman.
So, him being here is truly an awkward situation. On one side, he doesn't have any duty or any work to do. But on the other hand, the only thing he can do isn't giving him positive results in any way possible.
Yoro: "Sigh... Not in here, not in there, not in everywhere. Where the hell I must find this topic at, exactly?" In the middle of that library, Yoro is mumbling to no one in particular as he placed the book back to its shelf.
He is growing considerably annoyed by the seconds. He is already spent his time here for hours, but he still didn't get anything useful here, period.
Yoro: "Haaa... I think I should ask father about this instead" saying that to himself, he heads out from Ehren library to his father's study room.
But as he opens the exit door for this useless library, he can see that his father, who usually is sitting on that comfy chair was no more there.
================================
After the towel is ready on his hip, Yoro opens the door leading to this room. A warm temperature instantly crashes into his skin, making it slightly red from the heat its convected.
Yoro: "excuse me..." yoro gives a greeting while he entered in, and there is someone in this room who actually answer his words.

Arnold: "ah, so you've come too. Come here, come here, this thing is at its best temperature right now" patting the space beside him, Arnold signalling Yoro to sits beside him.
Yoro: "I know you'll be here" as he said that, he enters in slowly, visibly trying to adapt with the temperature of the water. "You're somehow always came here when you burned out from work" when he had entered in, Yoro closes his eyes to enjoys the warm bath.
Arnold: "A-ahahaha...w-well, there is nothing bad would be happening for a nice hot bath after some hard works aren't there?" scratching his head, He laughs awkwardly at Yoro while gives out shitty reason.
Arnold: "cough, cough...well then, do you want to ask me about something this time?" He knows Yoro is a person who like reading a book more than spending his time in a nice hot bath, well...maybe not for now. But even he knows that a moment like this is the best time they could talk together privately.
Yoro: "...I am starting to think that your library sucks somehow" with a monotone voice, Yoro said that with an incredulous expression on his face.
Arnold: "what!? That's rude!" Wearing a feigned sad expression, he buries his face in his palm under hopelessness at this greedy boy. "oh god, what just happened to my son now that, he doesn't satisfied with our humble family ordinary books anymore" a fake sobbing noise then heard from behind his hand, which prompt Yoro to shake his head exasperatedly at his antics.
Yoro: "well, unfortunately, you are very wrong there" seeing Arnold's confused face, he proceeds to explain "what I wanted to find is actually something that more inclined to a common sense"
After he exhaling a tired breath, he continues: "but no, your library is filled with none of them. Instead, it is all full of kingdom affairs, war tactics, and all extraordinary magic tome I don't need nor I can use at the moment" he said with a desperate tone.
Its true, Yoro here hasn't even reached his 10th birthday right now. The condition according to the memories of the original Yoro, humans' magic pool cannot reach its matured state without them touching the age of ten years old.
Even if he wanted to practice the magic now, or even tries to ask Arnold for training him on it, Yoro is sure he would just tell him to be patient for the time. And he knows Arnold is right.
Often than not, rushing things for yourself is unbeneficial for your body, and there are actually many people out there who often disregard this simple thing because of their overconfidence.

So maybe that is the actual reason the Academy just accepting students who exceed ten years old in terms of age.
Another reason for Yoro didn't read the magic books in there is...well, the books there are honestly... pretty confusing for him. Even if he knows some of the words written in there, the rest of the terms are a little... alien to ears.
Therefore, let alone remodelling his own magic system, even trying to learn magic for him is really out of question for now.
That's why that library is sucks
Arnold: "hmm, let's hear out what do you wanted to know, then," he said with an amused tone after he heard Yoro's explanation.
Yoro: "...well, some days ago, I met with this unknown term called combat tiers from...uhh, someone " And Yoro there was forget to ask that gang leader about his name right there! Wow, that is really unfortunate...or not. Well, just whatever.
Yoro: "But when I asked this thing to Chad before, he just won't tell me about this while giving out a crappy reason that I am not old enough. Ceh, what a bullshit" he said with thick annoyance dripping in his voice as he remembered that moment.
Arnold: "pfft, Hahaha... Hahahahahah" Arnold just can't hold it anymore. He cracks and laughs out wholeheartedly while holding his belly. His legs are making ripples on the surface from how amused he is right now.
Yoro: "Your laugh doesn't help me in any way at all, oi!" He snaps irritatedly at Arnold with his face coloured red in shame. Right now, Yoro's mood is just turning worse by the seconds passed.
Arnold: "haha...ha...fuuh... I apologize, I just haven't got any good jokes recently" wiping tears from the edge of his eyes, he then advised at Yoro: "well, it is kinda your own fault for asking Chad that kind of question in the first place" shaking his head at his son situation, he added: "Chad is a person that never good with this kind of subject"
Leaning his head at the edge of the pool again, he said: "for your question, it is true that there are actually no books available out there to explain this topic, for how common this thing is known to people" exhaling a relaxed breath, he then explains:
In Eus, the power for every race out there is classified by the same means but based in a different category, depends on what field of power variety their's actually in.
That category of power is divided into two parts, one is the swordsmanship department, and the other is the magic department.
And for each department, it is divided again by the same level respectively, starting with the elementary, intermediate, and advance for the peak of the normal tiers.
There are also some tiers above them that are outclassing the tiers mentioned above. But the one who has that level of power is so scarce. The comparison of people with that kind of power can be counted by 1 in a million people in the rarity.
Hearing his explanation, Yoro is a bit glad by the fact that he won't meet that kind of monster on a daily basis. Yoro doesn't want to bump into a random pedestrian in the street, just to find him is actually some kind of world-class big shot or some sort.
Yoro: "Hmm...but then, what rank are you currently at?" driven by curiosity, Yoro turns his head at Arnold and asked him.
Hearing this expected question, Arnold couldn't hold his grin at Yoro: "Well, It's not like I am arrogant or what. But in fact, I was actually are on the peak of advanced rank in the magic department" He said that, but the tone he used on that sentence is nothing short of domineering to ears.
And hearing that, Yoro is just stare at his grinning face with half-closed eyes, clearly wasn't impressed at all by his bragging-in-front-of-son attempt. "Yeah, yeah, whatever...then how about Chad's rank?" he inquired again in more interested tone.
Arnold: "Chad is a freak" after seeing Yoro's incredulous response just now, Arnold just exhaled dejectedly at himself. "Sigh...currently, Chad is occupying the peak-intermediate tier in rank"
Shaking his head in a confused manner, he continues: "But when he is serious, he can beat even a mid-advanced tier swordsman, while using his sheer of strength alone" as he said that, he stares at the ceiling upwards, seems like reminiscing that moment of his past.
Yoro: "...seriously? then that is what I called amazing right there" he said that while feigned an amazed expression on his face. And what he sees next is really worth it all.
After heard Yoro's comment just now, Arnold there unexpectedly falls for his deception and received a critical hit on his pride. Gloomily hung his head, Arnold then said to him: "I think I am done here" raised his body up from the tub, he walks to the exit in a low-spirited fashion.
After seeing him gone, Yoro couldn't hold it anymore. He laughs so loud that the sound is reverberating in the room. He continues to laugh like that for some time there...
All while he doesn't realize...
Someone has entered the bathroom there...

8 1388Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.

8 83The Direwolf Sorcerer
Wilhem Blackburn is actively involved in wildlife preservation. While investigating the most recent rumor, he dies in an accident. Getting a one-way ticket to a fantasy-laden world, Prima. Prima, a world inhabited by a plethora of species, each with a unique way to survive. A world enriched with boundless mana, resources, and power-hungry entities. And to make it worse, 'SYSTEM' happened, promising power and glory. After millennia, the dust has settled, more and more settled for a peaceful living. Wilhem Blackburn, now goes by Garm, wanted nothing of it. He was content with his life back on Earth. He wasn't ready to live a second on. Peaceful settling was it then! Peace was hard for Garm, especially when the top brass was set to wipe him out of existence. Little did they know he was nigh unkillable! Author's note: Things to expect: - Adventure, magic, and myth? Sure - Action and a bit of dry humor? Why not~ - OP MC & VILLAINS. - Mind the tags. It's a litrpg and slow-paced. - Oh! MC is a bit suicidal! Things not to expect: - Romance. I've no intention of adding romance in the foreseeable future. - Good grammar (Fair warning: I'm not native and might have some issues with the language. I hope you guys will be helpful and kind to point out the wrongs.) Greetings! 'The Direwolf Sorcerer' is my first work, so be supportive and kind by pointing out my flaws. Thanks! ( This went by the name 'I died & reincarnated as wolf in fantasy world' almost a year ago in RR. Due to personal reasons, I dropped it only after 4 chapters. Now I'm writing it again, just with a new title.) *UPDATES EVERY SATURDAY I've plans for the cover art, but that's for later.
