14Day of Fertility year 188

Xeor was walking at his own pace as he Happily thought he had destroyed a future threat for his people and on his journey he encountered something large on his way towards the mountains. In the distance it looked like a small rock in his path but as he came closer a gigantic city unvailed before him or more precisely its huge walls and gate.

It was the Ancient city of Drogan(ancient cities were build by the god of creation himself at the creation of the world) but as he aproached and entered the collosal city he heard strange noices from the structures and before knowing it he saw humans swarming from the buildings around him, surounding him rapidly but staying at a safe distance.

They were the Drogan barbarians as they will be called in the future, they are rough brutes who love fighting. Xeor didn't know what to do, they had the same sticks(weapons) but looked more like warriors than the previous ones he had met, but what he couldn't understand was their laughers as they looked at him.

Suddenly the ones in front of him made way and a really large mascular man came forth. He was as tall as himself and carrying a scary black beard that swang left and right as he walked slowly.

The crowd was going crazy Shouting "Ogro" ,

The big man stropped and using body language challenged him to a duel, it was a duel between men, even Xeor could understand that.

The man lifted a large white warhammer made of stone(it was made out of whitestone and was decorated with strange sculptures like tiny statues of men and women and strange trees and clouds) which he was draging behind him. (probably found it in the city itself)

He slammed the ground to intimidate him by making the dried dirt come flying towards him.

Xeor had never faced such an opponent before but still rushed towards him, he felt his blood rising as the barbarian kicked him back without fear of hist claws, although he wore no armor.

While flying backwards Xeor dug his claws in the ground, the crowd around them had widened the ring to give them more space and Shouted "Ogro", all with one voice.

It was the last thing he could remember before losing his conciousness from a direct hit by the Ogro's hammer to his left side, as he had skillfully charged at him in an instance of his own distraction.

The next thing he knew, he was in a prison cell and his ribs were broken but had some strange herb all over it numbing the pain. In the cells next to him he saw many other prisoners, the closest one was a hawkman with a broken wing and the other next to him was a pantherlady.

Even if he wanted to he couldn't talk with the hawkman (knowing that he was a birdman and they talk a different language) but as he tried to talk to the pantherlady, He heard the Hawkman talking in a bit strange but beastmen dialect.

(Hawkman)-I see you lost to them pretty badly lionman

(Xeor)-Did you lose as well?

(Hawkman)-Are you stupid, I tried to escape and they broke my wing

(Xeor)-What are they?

(Pantherlady)-They are called humans, they don't travel much but when they do they move in large groups pillaging and killing

(Xeor)-Why do such a thing?

(Hawkman)-Are you stupid, how did you even survive in this desert in the first place

(Xeor)-I'm not from around I just came from the other side of the river to find the catmen

Both the Pantherlady and Hawman laughed and when he asked why irritated, they laughed again.

(Pantherlady)-Do you even know where our catmen tribe lives?

(Xeor)-North?

(Pantherlady)-Little boy you have been had, our tribe is at the other side of the river and yes it is north from your forest after the Hawkmen tribe's territory, where you were sure to die if you had gone ain't that so Glori

(Glori)-Can you stop calling me that already I told you my name is "iiikiiiikikik"

(Pantherlady)-alright glori, I am Kihina

(Xeor)-I am Xeor son of Kor and Haki

(Glori)-Big shit loser and an Idiot

Xeor was enraged if he could brake the Iron bars or the chains that bound his cell's door he would have torn him to pieces right then and there

(Kihina)-Cool down little Xeor in a few hours you will see what happens to those that misbehave down here

(Xeor)-What do you mean?

(Glori)- you think you are so special lionboy, I have seen beastmen Stronger and smarter than you dying like dorths(bunnies)

(Xeor)-Don't know, if all hawkmen are as weak as you then I could have passed right through your whole tribe

Glori laughed

(Glori)-Don't tell me I'm the first Hawkman you have seen

(Xeor)-Yes you are

(Kihina)-Xeor don't tell me you didn't know he's the same age as you

(Xeor and Glori)-what?

Kihina laughed at the expression of both their faces as the young hawk thought Xeor was an adult lionman as they almost never leave their forest and the hawkmen only hunt in the plains.

They stopped talking to eachother till the door opened and many men came in carrying a gravely wounded bearman.

(Kihina)-Look Xeor this is Grour and the girl in that cell is Fifi

Xeor couldn't take his eyes off of her when he saw her, you could call it love at first sight or whatever. Fifi was a deerwoman with two small antlers and animal like legs, meaning no feet. Well all deermen are like that anyway although males have large antlers.

Now lets see where was I.

(Kihina)-Fifi is Grour's wife

Xeor didn't really care if she were as in their village the stronger one takes whatever he likes but when he saw Grour after the men left, he was gigantic, he was huge even bigger than their tribe's chief.

(Xeor)- How did they manage to capture him?

(Hawkman)-It is her they caught

(Xeor)-What's she doing now?

he told as he saw a strange lights coming from her hands and traveling towards the bearman

(Kihina)-Oh that, it's magic, a healing spell that heals minor wounds

(Xeor)-Magic?

(Kihina)-Haven't you ever heard about the gods?

(Xeor)-Gods?

(Kihina)-Well they call them Elves they can use these strange powers that can revive the dead or even kill you without touching you

(Xeor)-And how come she has those godlike powers?

(Glori)-Her tribe lives in their forest and they learn a thing or two from them but don't get your hopes too high, she will faint after casting that spell and its so weak it will only take your pain away for a little while

Xeor saw her fall on the floor as the lights disappeared and felt angry. He was lovestruck for sure as he wanted her but couldn't have.

They say another person's thing is always better than yours, even if it is the exact same as yours, ain't that right.

20day of Fertility year 188

Xeor now had fully healed, he learnt that the barbarians used the prisoners in their arena to train their warriors(the arena was originaly a semicircular ancient theatre).

He now was taken out of the cell for his first arena fight and probably his last. He didn't try anything as he wanted to fight the big one called Ogro once more. He was now walking through a dark tunnel(stairs) up to the surface and the light blinded him momentarily the guards were pushing him to go somewhere, it took awhile to open his eyes again and saw the city once more.

The redish walls of the houses(made out of redstone) and walked on a strange hard floor(commonly known as road).

He was now at the theatre where large ornamented columns stood and the theatre's seats were flooded with people waiting to see the fight. His oponents were two weaker looking guys than Ogro but they wielded Iron spears (which they had probably found in the ancient city as well).

Xeor leaped at the closest one evading the other one's spear and caught his face in his claws and the other hand he wraped around his body. With one move of both hands the man's neck was snapped.

The other one was frozen with fear as the lionman caught the dead man's corpse by the neck with his teeth and charged at him. The spear pierced the corpse and the second warrior was now being slashed to death by Xeor's claws.

The barbarians hadn't anticipated him to be that strong but even after that it was just the turn of the next challenger. He was a huge guy like Ogro but he had no weapon or at least, probably couldn't find one, he wore on his head a horned helm and heavy gauntlets on his arms.

Xeor without losing time leaped at him but ate a heavy blow to his face. He felt a bit hazy but as soon as he came by he saw his opponent rushing at him with his horned helm.

Xeor roared so loud that his roar could even be heard in the prison cells. His opponent was paralyzed for a second and xeor grabbed his hands and bit his neck as hard as he could but was thrown aback by his opponent who fell on his back piercing him with his helm's horns and threw him away.

The match was stopped by the guards and Xeor was taken back to his cell wounded. he knew thought that had they continued victory would have been his. That night in their cells Xeor and the other prisoners had a long talk after a long time.

(Kihina)-You scared the shit out of us today Xeor

(Grour)-Kh that's for sure, I was sleeping at the moment and grraaar it went and I thought I was about to be attacked by some wild beast and then I remembered I was in prison

(Glori)-It was nothing that big I have heard better from where I come from

(Kihina)-If you say so, how did it go today

(Xeor)-Only killed two though they were quite weak

(Hawkman)-You mean you killed them?

(Kihina)-I think you don't know what you did, do you? If you killed one it means you will take his place tomorrow

(Xeor)- Then I'm lucky tomorrow I will bite the big horned guy's head off

(Kihina)-You don't understand tomorrow, you will be fighting seven guys like Grour there, but don't be afraid, I'm sure Fifi here can heal you up till tomorrow, remember , one thing if you stay down you lose

(Xeor)-What?

(Kihina)-I do it all the time, after the slightest of injuries I just fall and pretent to faint

(Hawkman)-Yes, just surrender like a good scared kitten

(Kihina)-Who cares about pride, as long as you live you can win some other day

(Xeor)-I don't really care, tommorow there will be seven corpses

(Kihina)-that's my boy, oi Fifi aren't you done yet

White lights healed his wounds and Fifi collapsed

(Grour)-I hope you have better luck than me

(Xeor)-Why how many did you defeat

(Grour)-none, I tried to protect myself and was beaten to a pulp

The next day He and Kihina were taken from their prison cells and taken to the arena where seven warriors were ready to fight him all at once.

The horned guy wasn't there but his helm and gauntlets were now in the hands of three diferent people. I don't know if I should say it but the guy died right after he was taken away

and his things were taken by his sons.

Two of them also wielded the Iron spears of the other dead guys. It all happended too fast as Xeor run towards one of them and in the chaos the man was pierce by the Iron spear as they tried to save him from Xeor's grasp.

The second one fell too fast as his eyes were scratched and he couldn't see anything. One spearman fell as Xeor drew closer to him and hit the spear wounding another fighter.

The guard tried to stop the fight but Xeor was unstopable now. He cut their necks open in a flash of a second.

Ogro who sat high in the middle of the theatre had lifted his hammer and went at him, but this time was not the same as before.

Xeor by Evading the hammer lightly scrached Ogro, whenever he saw an opening, he did so again and again, he didn't go for the kill like before and Ogro was now paralyzed in fear as he was about to lose his life and at that moment Kihina with her huge claws slashed his neck open.

(Kihina)-Don't look at me so annoyed , I owed him far more defeats than you

(Xeor)-Just take his large stick and lets free the others

(Kihina)-No need for the weapon Grour can open his cage even without it

(Xeor)-What? you must he kidding then why does he stay in that cell, does he like the food or something?

(Kihina)-You sure are dumb, can you escape this place unharmed? come to think of it you seem to be, but that's not the problem here

The rest of the people that were there scrambled and hid in the many buildings. Xeor and the others left the city without any further delay.

(Xeor)-anyone knows where we are going?

(Kihina)-No, I was dragged here during a raid

(Glori)-I flew and believe me it's a lot faster than walking

(Grour)-Let me see, the sun sets over there, we could go to the elven forest, and me and Fifi's home

(Xeor)-and where is that?

(Grour)-To the north

(Xeor)-Great I was suposed to go there anyway

Kihina and glori laughed while neither Xeor nor Grour understood what was so funny about it.

The next few days they traveled towards the river and from there they went further north until they reached the elven forest which was still green although everything around it had dried out and fallen.

(I might have forgotten there were more prisoners but don't mind that cause most of them are from Grour's place and they simply followed them in escaping)
