After waking up, it realized it was back in the laboratory. After looking around for a few seconds, it heard some noise come from out of one of the rooms.

It walked into the room only to see a big black box with moving pictures on it.

“A body was found at #### park. Apparently, nobody has been able to identify this person. The only thing we know is that he was poisoned.”

The cat, intrigued by this device, ran towards the box and tried to climb it but was met with failure so it gave up and tried to find an open window in the laboratory. However, the window that was usually open was kept closed and locked, so the cat had to wander through the building to find another window.

This was the first time the cat had an actual good luck at the inside of the building. The first place the cat went was the front door where it once got into the building from.

Right on the wall in front of the door there were a few framed papers. Unable to understand what was written on it, the cat skipped over it to see a clear glass bowl filled to the top with water on top of a counter near those framed papers.

Inside that bowl was nothing but some dirt and the corpse of what seemed like a fish.

The cat jumped onto the counter and put its paw into the glass to try and grab that fish.

After a couple of attempts, it was able to hold the fish with its paws before putting it into its mouth and eating it. It threw it up after being unable to chew it however.

It ended up landing in front of a door with no handles. The cat looked at the door and tried to push against it. It failed to do so. Despite that, it tried once more, only to fail again. After failing to open the door multiple times, it looked at the door to notice there were a few large symbols(?) above the door.

These symbols wrote “LAB”.

The cat was unable to understand what it meant so it just ignored that. What did attract its attention, however, was the “eye” next to those symbols.

This “eye” looked almost exactly like a red cat’s eye. There was one difference though. There was a small circle of 1s and 0s inside that eye.

Suddenly, the door opens, with the person wearing a lab coat walking straight out of it. While walking out, that person almost tripped over the cat but was able to stop themselves from doing so.

The cat tried to jump through the door but due to that person’s actions, it delayed the cat long enough for the door to fully close resulting in the cat slamming against the door.

The person then carried the nearly unconscious cat back to the spot where it was when it woke up.

“Surprised me there, standing right in front of my room. There is no reason for you to be there. Time for you to go back to sleep. See you in the morning.”
