"How are you?" Mason asked me, I wanted to lie that I am alright I can tell him right.

"I can't still forget and this relationship that I have started with Alex has me remembering things I don't want too." I replied truthfully , I didn't care that Alex was standing right there and looked sullen all of a sudden

"That is the thing Kate you don't need to forget that , you need to face it on and live with it . And did you just say you are in a relationship with Alex?" Mason asked astonished , this brought a smile on my lips

"Yes , we are didn't this airhead tell you ?" I asked holding Alex's arm , Alex looked at me angrily all of a sudden .

"You finally got a girlfriend you little rascal " Said Mason while patting and ruffling his hair. He was supposed to look angry but he looked at peace. So, Mason has the same affect on Alex too, I thought . Could it be that he was jealous when Mason paid all attention to me and got angry. I need to test this theory. I suddenly pulled Mason aside and hurriedly brought him inside the house . Alex came running after us so angry .Pfft he is such a kid . I started laughing so loudly , Bess came running out of one of the rooms to see what happened , James was with her .Mason stood there stood there confused as to what happened suddenly .

Alex was still glaring at me . He is such a kid . God! I want to kiss him now .

"Why are you laughing all of a sudden Kate ." Mason asked crouching to the ground

"If I tell you will laugh too." I answered through laughing

"Okay , so tell us " Mason asked , I showed them a wait sign .And settled my laugh . After I minute I explained what happened and how Alex acted . He was still glaring at me . After I explained they all laughed too. Mason got up and hugged Alex who immediately turned happy .

" If I had known that you got jealous for me over your girlfriend , I would have given you my whole attention ." Mason said laughing . Something snapped back the original Alex and pushed Mason away and blushed

"Damn you Mason , every time you come I always change , suddenly getting jealous like a little girl" Said Alex covering his face by his hand

"This is because of the love you feel towards me " Mason answered

"I don't like you not even a little bit " Alex said , I held back from laughing , Alex was lying , he got so excited when he was telling about Mason to me but he say he didn't like Mason now

"If you don't like Mason at all then it won't be a problem if I borrowed him for the day " I asked teasingly

"Yeah it won't be a problem" Alex answered ,I stood up and guided Mason out of Alex's house

"Come on then Mason I will show you my home " I said to Mason

"You live nearby Alex?" Mason asked

"Yeah I do live very close to him" I answered , we moved downstairs got out of the building and walked on for steps entered the building on the left and moved upstairs

"Here we are " I said as I rang the bell

"You live really close to him don't you "Mason said I chuckled

"Yes , I do , Alex just moved here recently ." I informed Mason

"When did he move here" Mason asked

"Today , actually ." I answered

"Really!" Mason said shocked . Door opened and mom got shocked by the surprised guest I brought .She immediately welcomed him in . She settled him in the guest room. Offered him drinks and snacks . We all talked and talked till it was evening finally . After that he excused himself and asked to go home .I asked to drop him , he agreed . We went downstairs and out of the building .We stopped there looking at the sky , it was still hot despite it being the evening

"Kate , Alex is not like that boy , you know he is different , I know him very well so please trust me." Mason said

" I know , that is why I confessed to him." I said

"You were the one to confess."He said shocked

"Yes , I just couldn't wait any longer , I don't know if I did the right thing or not." I said unsure

"No , you did the right thing " Mason assured

"But , I haven't told Alex anything about my past even when he asked me." I said sadly

"If he loves you truly than the past should not matter much." He said

"I feel that if I told him about my past , his attitude towards me will change " I said

"It will not change at all Kate , I know him very well . Tell him about your past."He said

"You should know Mason how that incident affected me . It is difficult for me to tell him" I said suddenly a voice called from behind

"Tell who what ?" Alex came up and asked

"Nothing, nothing at all" I said panicking

"Yeah , nothing at all" Mason backed me up

"Then can I borrow Mason finally , James and Bess is waiting for him." Alex asked

"Bess , still hasn't gone home" I asked shocked

"Yes she was waiting to meet Mason." Alex answered

"Then what are we waiting for , let's go " I said and started to pull Mason along

"Wait , we I thought you were going home , that you are here only to drop him off." Asked Alex smiling.

"Yes but how could I leave Bess with three boys alone and when one of them loves her and she loves one of them" I said

"Wait , your friend loves someone from us three, is it Alex?" Mason asked shocked

"No of course not, Bess can never love Alex , she loves James and James loves her so , we were thinking on how to set them up ." I answered

"Isn't this convenient you and Alex are dating , soon James and Bess will start dating leaving me all alone."Mason said sadly.

"Don't worry we will be here for you , till you die alone ." I said teasing him , he acted as if he was crying , We started moving and went into Alex's house , from where I called home to tell that I was at Alex's house and that I will be a little late . She didn't have any objections as she was happy that I left the house for some time . We all sat down on the couch Bess was introduced to Mason Helix

"I have heard a lot about you from Kate , she used to talk about you so much that when I finally talk to you I think already know you ." She had said when shaking hand with him , James grew a little uncomfortable .I sat beside James and whispered into his ear

"She don't love Mason she just like him cause he helped me a lot when I was little and she is grateful for that ." James smiled at me

"Thanks for assuring me." He answered back

"By the way are you and James also demon ?" She asked Mason and James

"Yes we are ." Answered Mason

"And I heard about that James is transferring in our class , so is there anyone , beside him that is transferring?" I asked

"Yeah there is another boy transferring to our class." answered Mason

"Who ? " I asked excited

"Some boy named Thomas Melrose ." Mason answered without knowing what grave mistake he did saying that . I quieted down , surely this must not be the same the guy , it is not possible that , that person will come from so far away

"His family moved from Ohio to Utah because of job so he had to transfer. By the way he is also a demon from The Aisha Group" Mason added. There must be many boys named Thomas Melrose in Ohio and it is not possible that he is from Columbus. I don't think that person was demon , but if he was that doesn't startle me much because that person was really a demon.

"His family lived in Columbus , Merion village ." Mason added more .Bess stood up suddenly and guided me by hand to home . My mom got astonished from the sudden change of my mood as when I left I was happy and when I came this time I was despaired , so sad . The topic of the person had this much effect on me , and that person is coming to Utah , in my school and in my class what will happen to me then. I was alone at that time and I am still alone . I know if Alex learned what happened then, he would think that I am lying too. Tears fell down my cheeks on just the thought of that .

Bess took me to my room and made me sit , my throat felt so dry , its like that incident just happened . Bess brought me some water . When I held the glass , my hands didn't have any strength in them so it fell from my hands and broke into thousands of pieces. I put my naked foot on one such of pieces . The physical pain is better that the mental pain I was having . Bess lifted my foot to see just how deep the wound I just made go . Since the piece of glass was small it didn't go deep enough , I think 1 cm at best.

I saw Alex and Mason entering the house they had this worried look ,which I started to hate so much , yet I still felt a little good because this worried look was the conformation that they worried for me . Alex worried for me , yet I betrayed him , I have kept him in the dark for so long . It hurts so much .I put my other foot on the glass pieces . I hate myself so much , I shouldn't be living not after what happened . I am so weak , pathetic really .Before I could harm myself more mom cleaned up the mess I had just made up . Bess slowly pulled out the glass pieces out of my foot . But I didn't let her take it out that easily , but I couldn't retaliate much because Mason held one foot , while Alex held the other . When Bess finished so much blood was flowing through the wounds . Alex and Mason were readying themselves to lick my wound so that it could heal but I stopped them. I asked them to treat it humanly . They hesitated for a moment and treated me by lots of cotton , antiseptic and bandage .

After finally they had finished bandaging me I lost my consciousness and fell right into Alex's arms , the last thing I said before losing my conscious was

"I …am…not…lying" and everything went black
