I was walking around in the hall when I saw James . He smiled as soon as he saw me .

"Katherine what a pleasure to meet you ." He said shaking my hand

"Please call me Kate , all of my friends call me that." I said .

"Okay Kate are you here alone where is your other friend , Bess ?" He asked , Alex might be right that he is head over heels for Bess

"Bess , she will be coming in later " I replied , he got sullen all of a sudden .

"You are here to see Alex right may I lead the way ? " He asked courteously

"Okay " I said after all I was lost here

"So, how's school?"He asked

"Noisy since our teacher is resigning this Monday and there is also noise about the new teacher that is coming in ." I replied

"Is that so." He said

"Can I ask you a question please answer truthfully ?" I asked

"Okay " He said somehow cautiously

"Are you in love with Bess? " I asked

"What!? " He asked stunned, we now stopped walking

"Let me put it into simpler terms do you like Bess that way?" I asked again, he looked hesitant for a second than answered

"Yes , I like Bess that way ." he said blushing slightly . I jumped in my mind .

"How did you know ?" He asked , bringing me back from my imagination

"It is pretty easy to figure out ." I answered

"Do you think she knows about how I feel ?" He asked innocently

"No , she hasn't figured out and probably won't ." I replied truthfully

"Do you think she feels same way about me?" He asked looking troubled

"You can know once you confess ." or she can confess to you, I thought in my mind

"But-"

"Do you want to know how she feels about you be a man and ask her and also tell her your feelings " I said cutting him off , and walked on . He soon caught up to me

"You are right Kate , thank you for your advice , but I think it is important for me to know her better first so can you help me ." He asked , a smile broke on my face

"Of course , whatever you need ." I answered , by this time we had reached Alex's room , James entered without knocking . Thankfully Alex had just finished wearing his clothes . He had taken a bath , his hair were slightly wet. The soap he had used had a very sweet smell. He saw me and smiled .

"Where did you go?" Alex asked

"I thought you were coming to meet him now, I didn't know you already met him." James intervened Alex looked at James

"Well I never said that I didn't meet him already, you asked are you going to meet Alex and I answered yes, you never asked if I had meet him already ." I said defensively looking at James.

"And how can I stay in your room Alex when you were getting ready , so I went out for a walk." I said looking at Alex . They both nodded agreeing with me.

Suddenly the door flung open and Bess entered.

"Good morning everyone." She said cheerfully

"Good morning "we three said in unison less energetically then her

"We all are here so Alex take us to your new home ." I said impatiently , he chuckled slightly

"Let us eat the breakfast and then we will head out , okay ." He said looking at me

"Okay " I said pouting . Breakfast was brought into Alex's room . It was a very lavish feast . We enjoyed while eating . When we finally we sat there talking about each other how we saw each other when we first met each other . Of course neither Bess or me told our secrets or how we actually used to behave when we both first met but the talk was fun . James and Bess both learned a great deal about each other .

"Now we have had our breakfast , so shall we go ?" I asked interrupting something Alex was saying , he grew silent and nodded towards James , James stood up and suddenly blindfolded me.
