"The things I am going to tell should remain between us three no one is to know about it , understand" Alex asked suddenly , maybe to break the tension.

"Of, course we won't tell anyone will we Kate ." Bess said directing to me , she wanted to make up for what she did . I said nothing and just nodded . Both of them were satisfied with this only .

"You may have heard about , people going missing suddenly or some people being abducted and then having no memory of what happened or suddenly a person does a totally uncharacteristic things , Mostly these kind of things are ruled under aliens but the truth is all of them are done by demons . You see demons have the power to make people forget things or posess a person or planting a fake memory hence the green colored aliens. The truth is that demons are also living among us in our day-to-day life. It is very hard to differentiate between a demon and a human . But for us demons it is a little easier to differentiate well because it our kind." Alex said pausing a little , He continued

"Every 100 years a human child is born who have an open mind enough to accept about the existence of demons and live with the demons . This child , is god gifted with such powers that it only affects demons . In earlier ages all the demons used to fight over this child . This child could not be found till she turned 16 so , in earlier days demons used to , collect many girls and search for this girl . There were times when this child was found by the most cruelest of all of us demons . Then her future would only consist of being a mistress for the lord of the family . This child was called the rare kind. it is said that whichever family this girl would marry into , it would become prosperous . So the mistreat of the rare kind increased , seeing this the biggest families of demons decided on a treaty. The search of rare kind by storing children would stop instead wherever this child is found the girl is to be treated with respect and the family young master she bonds with will have the girl without no questions asked." Said explained Alex . So that's why I was so important to him unhurt so that he can marry me and make his family prosperous . I thought with hate seething in me. He continued on looking at me

"This time you are the rare kind Kate and you are bonded me and let me tell you this bond is not on the level of my mind it is more of at a spiritual level and it is formed when your spirit feels close to someone and want to keep in contact with it forever .

With this bond you can feel , see and hear what I hear and that's not all , you can block me in seeing anything in your mind . And you can do it whenever you want it to. Not only that if a demon drinks your blood or eat your flesh that demon will have unattainable power-" Alex was about to say something but I cut him off saying

"That means I am demons powerhouse , I am alive so that I can give you power right , than wouldn't it be better if I died" I said coldly Bess stood up and slapped me

"Please stop this Kate , I am sorry for saying what I said earlier but please don't take out your anger on Alex , he has done nothing wrong . I am truly sorry for making you remember that but all persons are not alike and didn't you say that you were over that but all I can see is that you have hid that memory somewhere inside your brain. All these years I am trying to tell you that stop hiding and face that on. Especially now because you are dating Alex and I know that will bring very bad memories back so please Kate for god's sake please stop hiding."She finished and sat down in her original place, a few tears fell down my cheeks.

Bess is right I need to stop taking my anger of that person on Alex , Alex is not that person. I looked at Alex who was silent right now. I opened my arms

"I am so sorry Alex , but will you please hug me ."I asked , he silently stood up and came towards me. He bent downwards and hugged me. I closed my eyes and hugged him tightly clenching at his shirt .More tears fell down my cheeks and I broke into full sobs

"I am so sorry Alex , I didn't mean to hurt you and earlier also , I am so sorry I slapped you , but please don't leave me . Please Alex, I am so sorry" I said pleading

"Stupid , why would I leave you for slapping me and I was the one at fault , I shouldn't have made an advance like that on you ." He said

"No, you were not at fault I just remembered something bad and you had to suffer my anger ." I said

"This bad thing what is it ?"Alex asked carefully , I pulled back and looked at Alex

"I am sorry but , I can't tell now , but will you wait for me , I promise I will tell you all about it soon." I said earnestly .

"Of , course I am not rushing you , take your time." He said

"Thank you Alex "I said . He kissed my eyes , wiping away my tears

"Hmm , your tears are salty" he said smiling slightly

"I am human , so my tears will taste salty "I said

"Hmmm than what about your lips will they taste like that of human" He asked

"Depends on whether you had already tasted the lips of other human girls." I said

"Well I haven't tasted other girl's lips so , I can't tell" He said

"But , I seem to forget how your lips tasted " He said slyly and closing in on me.

" You forgot so early ?" I asked innocently

" Why don't you remind me, then " He said , finally after teasing each other for so long, our lips met , I was filled with sensory overload , I felt my cheek burn . He put a hand on my waist pulling me towards so that I practically sat on his lap . I ruffled my hand through his hair, clenching it sometimes. I suddenly got aware of bess who was looking elsewhere and I pulled back blushing a little.

"I hope you will remember the taste, for more longer now" I said smiling slyly

"I don't know , I may need a reminder tomorrow " He said amusingly . I tried to stand up and but he pulled me beside him hugging from behind . I looked at Bess who was still looking away from where we were sitting

"You can look here now Bess" I called to her

"This is cheating Kate , just cause you got a boyfriend that doesn't mean that you will kiss whenever you want even in front of me and you too Alex keep in mind who is around you when you are kissing ." She complained

"Ok , ok , next time we will be careful ." I said snickering I looked behind at Alex , the impression that was earlier there of my slaps was not there now , I touched that side

"How did the impression just vanish?" I asked

Alex blushed and left the hold he had on me, looked away.

"Ummmmm..........-" Alex hesitated

"What it is?" I asked

"Well , you see rare kinds have also another power." He said

"What is it?"I asked again

"When a rare kind kisses a demon , in this case when you kissed me power of your rare kind flowed in me and healed all of my injuries ." He answered I blushed bright red and went out of the room
