Since I knew Alex's house address I went there directly . I only knew the address so I had a hard time finding his house cause the address I had was of a villa and it was a little unbelievable that he lived in such a large villa . I went to the gate there a guard stopped me .

Of course such a big villa must have a guard or two. Before the guard stopped me I peeked a little inside and some moving was going on . There was a huge truck, people were loading things up in it like sofa, TV, and many more things .The guard asked me who I was . He was looking at me like I am a lowlife .

"I am here to talk to Alex walker." I said

"Young master , but why?" The guard asked

"I am his classmate and I have come here to hand some assignments given to us in the school today. " I said ruffling some sheets into my hand .

"No one is allowed to meet the young master , especially the children of his school , it is on the orders of young master himself " said the guard

"Can I speak to him than on phone , even if its landline , I won't mind , I need to explain to him how these assignments needs to be done and if you could pass these assignments to Alex . " I asked politely , the guard eyed me for a second

"Ok girl , what is your name ?" he asked

"Ellie Mathews " I lied , using a classmates name surely he would pick the phone up. The guard dialed a number , he told the receiver on the other end , my whole fake story , Alex must have agreed to talk because he handed me the receiver

"Hello "Came Alex's voice from the other end , I glanced no one was there and guard had entered his cabin , so no one was going to listen

"Please don't hang up Alex , I was just worried about you. I heard that you had an accident and I wanted to make sure that if you are alright. If that's what you want to hear than you won't get to. Truthfully I was a little glad of what happened to you , I thought at that moment that you got what you deserved ." I finished and he hung up.

The guard came out asking me if I was done and I smiling handed him the receiver with the sheets .

I went away but as I got nearer to the bus station I slowed down . I kept thinking on what Alex said earlier , He said that he would protect me no matter what , maybe he said those harsh words to protect me , that he wanted me to think he is a bad guy so that I would stop looking into what happened that day.

I had a theory and now I needed to confirm it.

I picked up the phone and called Alex , he didn't pick up as expected , at first in all of my voice mails I said sorry for what I said earlier . Around 30 minutes later I send a special voice mail this time . It was

"Alex , look I am sorry for what I said earlier , but please help me I think I am being followed by someone , wait .......what .....What are you doing................. Stop this ........"Acting like I was in scuffle and I hung up and switched off my phone

I don't know if he would try to call my sell or not but I had a hunch that he would try to go to my home next. I found a pay phone nearby and called home , since I knew it would take Alex 30minutes reach my home ,I prepared a plan .

"Hello" My mom asked

"Hello ,mom its me Kate" I answered

"Why are you calling from a pay phone Kate?" my mom asked

"My phone battery died " I answered

"So ,why did you call?" she asked

"Mom ,I need your help" I said

"What is it?" she asked

"Don't tell anyone else about this but I am going to kidnap myself" and I explained my plan to mom and her role in this plan , she was ready to help me but

"Why are you doing this , why are you making him worry about you ? " Mom asked I could only tell her half lie

"Mom , Alex he is hiding something very dangerous I think life threatening for him and he won't let e help him the normal way so I am going to force the truth out of him " I replied

"Why are you going for such lengths for him, I know he is your best friend but who would go this far for a best friend?" Mom asked this time I flatly lied to her

"Me, Mom, I would go to such lengths to help him after all he was there when I needed him" I answered

"Are you sure that's all there is to it? I think you care about him more than a best friend that's why you are going to such lengths for him ." Mom said

"I don't think so mom" I said sadly and hung up

It took total fifteen minutes to explain everything to mom it means I have 40 minutes to put phase 2 in action.

I called Bess

"Hello?" She asked tensely Alex must have called her already

"Bess listen carefully and without saying a word , I was not kidnapped it is just a farce to trap Alex in and I need your help with phase 2." I said hastily

"You must said something bad cause Kate he looked scared to death , you should have seen his dressing . It was totally spoiled , his shirts button were placed in wrong wholes, and he was wearing sandal in one foot and shoe in the other . You may have made him worry too much." she said , I didn't pay attention to what she said because I knew if I did I would call this thing off .

I explained my plan to her and asked her to bring a burner phone, two ski mask , a rope or a piece of cloth for tying me up , a blind fold and meet me with these things at the small music bar 15 minutes away from our home . I hung up and went to the destination .

Since I was early than Bess. I booked a room and told the front receptionist that there will be man coming in untidy clothes. I described Alex same as Bess told me. I lied saying that we will be having a surprise party somewhere else for him but we said that we had an emergency and gave the name of this place. So we will be dragging this person out of here blindfolded. I asked if the receptionist could help us and hail a cab for us. We will call from the room as to when to call the cab . the receptionist nodded after all he seemed a high school boy .
