"Jack, how's your study?"
Freed university Class-A, a spiked hairstyle youth asked Jack who look at the book he was holding for a while then turn his head to stare at his hair. 'Why did he change his hairstyle?' he thought.
"What, jealous?"
"Want me to fix your hair?" When Jack meets Romnick, his clothes were like delinquents on the street. His hair was scholarly contrary to his appearance, so he wondered if this kid hit his puberty.
"No." Jack ignored him as he returns on reading, Romnick, glance at him and thought. 'Come on, is the book more important than your friend.'
Romnick bitterly smiled. 'We've been hanging out for a week, but I only heard a few words from that mouth of yours.'
"By the way, I remembered that for this past few days, you didn't study a single thing. If you care about someone study, shouldn't you care about yours instead?' Romnick was within Jack psychic field, so naturally, he knew his thoughts. When he thought about his behavior to them, he felt that it was rude if he didn't respond.
Romnick was dumbstruck as this was the first time, he heard Jack saying a sentence, a long one at that! 'Did this fellow consume a wrong medicine?'
Black lines appeared on Jack's face as he didn't know whether he will laugh or cry when he heard his thought.
"HAHA, you don't have to worry. Even if I don't study here my mom already taught me all of the materials up to high school, so you don't have to worry about my grades." Romnick puffs his chest proudly as he said."What, do you want me to teach you?"
Looking at his expression, Jack shook his head and didn't bother to respond. "That's true, contrary to his look, he was one of the top students in our class. If he studied seriously even my position as the 1st in the exam is a child play to him." Arvin approached the two as he commented.

"Anyway, the exam will be tomorrow so Jack I hope that you get rid of that reputation of yours and obtain some recognition. If you need some help, I am willing to offer some pointers." It may sound arrogant, but Jack knew that Arvin was only concern about his result.
"Thank you, but I can do it myself." Looking at his eyes filled with confidence, Arvin was stunned and didn't know what to respond.
.......................
"Oh! Guys, want to go to our house?" Oblivious to the atmosphere, Romnick suddenly remembered that her mom told him that she wants to see his friends.
"Why?" Arvin asked puzzled.
"Nothing, my mom wants to meet the two of you. Well, we can use this opportunity to know each other, right?" Romnick eyes shone brightly.
Seeing his bright eyes, Arvin nods his head while Jack maintained his silence. "Jack, want to come?" Asked Romnick.
"Okay;" Jack said.
Looking at the bustling people, Jack recognized this area as he once visited this place with his father, he glances at the spiked hair youth who was leisurely walking in this street. "I am surprised that your family can afford to live in here."
It was not strange that he asked this question as the students who studied at Freed University were scholars as their IQ is mostly 120 above.
The school emphasizes the genius, not the riches so when Freed University emerged, a lot of students that surpass the IQ of 120 sprouts in the whole world.
In the whole world, a lot of gifted don't have the money and support to nourish their ability because of this reason the University for elite popped up. As to how this University developed, the powerful families and the lowest government doesn't know, so the school was mysterious in the eyes of this riches and power.
Romnick answered with a laugh. "Well, my mother is a business genius, you could say that we are well off."

Arvin adjusted his glasses and said. "His mother was Angelica Branagh, a genius businesswoman that manages to become one of the millionaires in five years. A rumor said that her profit already exceeds a billion, but I am not sure if it's true or not."
Jack lifted his head as he said. "Owning a house in Dongcheng was hard. Needless to say a mansion, the term 'rich' couldn't longer use to regard your mom, 'power' is quite fitted as it was rare to find a foreigner business blooming on this kind of place." A shocked expression appeared on their faces as they listen to Jack, Romnick mouth was already wide open that an egg could already fit on it. After recovering from shock, Arvin looks at him and said. "For you to know the depth of power in this place, you are not waste as the rumor."
Romnick also nodded. "Well, I am not familiar with the business, but I know a thing or two, my mother said that this place has a lot of power that she couldn't afford to offend."
Following Romnick back, the three of them entered an alley and reach an abandoned factory, Jack sense a murderous aura following them. He was about to inform his friend when a three middle-aged man with piercing on their ears block them. "Who are you?" Romnick asked as he turned vigilant, his sense told him that they were dangerous.
"Sorry, I always use this route as it conveniently fast, but I didn't expect this kind of thing to happen." Romnick apologized, he always used this route to return home, but not even once he stumbled this kind of trouble.
'I can't use my power here, I need to think of a way;' Jack thought.
Spreading his psychic field, the opponents thought became visible to him.
'Foolish kid, allow me to control your body, I will teach you a lesson on how to control your psychic force while maintaining a low profile.'
"You two flee as fast as possible, I will find a way to distract them, this situation is not simple;" Romnick said with a grave expression.
"We are not going." Arvin shook his head as he also knew the danger they were in, Jack didn't say anything as he stays rooted to his spot. Seeing this, the man in the middle of the group with piercing, smiled in disdain as he thought that Jack was trembling with fear.
Looking at Arvin's eyes, Romnick knew that he couldn't persuade this stubborn snake, so he didn't say any more words as it will waste his time. Looking at Jack, he shook his head and was about to say something when a light ray hit his neck as his vision turned dark. He looks at Jack in worry. "Jack..."
"Big brother Wei, the task that our young master gave us sure is easy, even those thugs on the street could do this. Why the hell did he send us with this simple mission?" The lackey on the left side commented in disdain.
"Don't complain, I am sure, the young master sends us here because this task is not simple at all." The other man shook his head.
"Don't argue, bring those three inside the factory and gather our men." Big brother Wei commanded.
The two carried the three unconscious youth inside the factory and brought them to an empty room. They didn't notice that Jack's eyes turned blue and a lazy smile appeared on his face.

Dedicated, intelligent, chock full of ideas from a technologically advanced society, and perfectly willing to scorch the earth, he sets out to avert history. Can he avert canon, save the Uzumaki, and forge his people into a mighty nation? Or will he fail, dooming his clan to extinction? At the end of the day, all he wants is a good life. And considering even Death itself didn't stop him, he pities whoever gets in his way. ================== Tags: Naruto, Reincarnation, OC, eventual multi-cross. ================== Author's (Brief) Note: Back by popular demand. This was my first significant fanfic (and fic in general). I wasn't happy with the writing as time went on, and took it down, but years later am still getting requests to put it back up so I guess some people liked it. Newly re-released as I finish some minor editing, there are about 100,000 words (~360 RRL pages) already written, so releases should be fast until I catch up with the backlog. That said, it may languish in hiatus at that point if the interest isn't high enough to merit continuing, so if you're the type to only read finished stories (or ones where the author promises to do so), I am very specifically not promising that. On the other hand, if enough people read, like, review, comment, rate, etc. then it will get added to my writing schedule. Generally, the character is based on a “how badass could someone who hasn't done ridiculously crazy shit be? Or, how does someone with the potential, in another setting, with a lot of luck, to be a badass act and develop as a modern, productive member of society? And then how would they deal with the Naruto-verse?” Please, please do not judge my writing by this. Unless you really like it, in which case fine, do, but recognize my other writing is likely better (unless it’s that one MTG/ASoIaF/SW fic I did over on SB as a speed-writing experiment, which is also pretty terrible).

Daily life of a cultivation judge
Tired of those cultivators who think it is righteous to eliminate a sect or clan root and stem all in the name of revenge and avoiding future troubles, fights over treasures that end up destroying cities with no consequence whatsoever to the culprit, these psychos whose aim for the peak always involves a trail of carnage and bloodshed in its wake for some reason. Then look no further than the daily life of a cultivation judge. Yang Qing, is a young genius cultivator from a low-tier family whose only safe choice to get resources and hopefully lead an easy life led him to the courts of the Cultivation Order Society. Author’s disclaimer: Hey there this is my first novel so any criticism will be well taken though beware I’m a million-year-old monster who has cultivated the way of the sword to the peak. The daily life of a cultivation judge will be true to its name so it will be heavily on the slice of life lane with a bit of action here and there.Meaning we will see the life of Yang Qing when he clocks in and out. Hopefully, it will be one of those novels you read if you need to relax or are in a slacker mood like one of those otakus who listen to the noises of cicadas in the summer famously used in most animes. And it is in the slacker spirit that chapter release will be on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday. Sank yuuu Cover art by Conny Schneider on Unsplash
