"AH!" Along with the painful cries, a tremors run throughout the whole house, Jack's surrounding turns into nothingness. The bed, floor, and everything near 10 meters around Jack vanished as if they didn't exist. Blood poured out from his eyes and ears, drenching his body dyed red with his blood.
"No, I don't want to lose myself, everything was already taken from me. I don't want myself to turn into something that my mom and dad will despise." Jack said in a hoarse voice.
Don't resist your fate! A loud voice echoed in Jack's mind.
No, I don't want this fate!
I will change it, no!
I will fight it!
Carried by a mysterious force, Jack's body floated mid-air, he stared at the empty sky then was engulf in unknown space. His figure disappeared along with the tremor that disturbs the peace of estate.
In the sky, a round shape of metal could be seen flying to Jack's residence as if attracted by his powers, when Jack disappeared in unknown place. It stopped momentarily, then sped through the south.
"Brother Vern, is this our last mission?" A blond woman in her 20's look at the man with a slightly teasing tone.
Vern didn't glance at the woman as he seriously looks at the monster in front of them. "Don't joke around Mara."
Mara and Vern were from an organization that involves killing this kind of monsters that appeared all over the world. With the appearance of a human with supernatural powers, an organization called 'The Holder' appeared on earth, this mysterious group gathered all of the people with talent who can awaken their powers.
Their purpose was to kill all of the strange monsters that appeared on earth all over the world. The organization made a mission system to avoid the consequence of the newbie getting killed. Vern and Marie took the G-class mission to train, but a problem occurred in their training as they didn't expect that the monster on their training, turned out to be an E-class.
The beast was similar to the black bear of America, but this monster in front of them has two head and horn on its forehead. With his paws that filled with the strength of one hundred, this beast overwhelmed this group of supernatural human.

"We just have to defend and wait for Captain to arrive, she can certainly do something to save us from this situation." Vern expression was grave as he realizes that defending on this monster is impossible.
"But we are on the verge of death, look at our wound, we don't even have the stamina to defend on that mutant beast." Mara pointed at her body that drenches in blood. Equip with a battle suit, Mara's seductive body was exposed in daylight, looking at her torn clothes that almost reveal her private part, Vern suddenly felt his blood boiled from his lower abdomen.
Roar!
"This seductress!"
That roar awaken Vern from losing himself, he silently curses Mara for being seductive, they look at the beast walking in front of them with oppressive aura enveloping them. They instinctively step back, as they felt hopeless in this situation.
"You guys sure are pathetic." Startled, they look back and saw a woman with black hair walking to their side. When they saw the black-haired woman, a smile appeared on their faces instead of angry expression from being mocked.
"Captain, you arrive!" Vern and Marie shouted in unison.
Glancing at their body riddled with wounds, she felt guilt inside because she left them without saying anything. "Go back, heal your wounds while I fight this musclehead beast."
The two-headed bear look at the woman with delight visible in his four eyes, when he thought that his food increase, he couldn't help himself anymore as he attacks Marie with his claws.
"Captain!" Vern and Mara said worried they knew that their captain was strong but looking at the massive figure of the monster in front of them, a hint of panic appeared on their face.
The attack was fast, as it already arrives in front of Marie. Facing this terrifying attack, Marie didn't dare to engage it head-on, she used her wind ability to support her body to evade the attack.
The two headed-bear was enraged as the food in front of her dodge his claws, so he chases Marie who was distancing herself from its attack. "Wind Blade." Marie keeps on launching wind blade as she kept her distance to the two-headed bear.
"Roar!" Letting out a pain cries, the two-headed bear didn't attack as it fled into the forest run from this terrifying woman.

"You lose, to a weakling beast like this?" Marie was dumbfounded, by the sight of 6-meter beast running with tail on his back deep inside the forest.
Damn, the bear is not weak, you are just powerful! Vern and Mara retorted weakly.
"What did you say?"
"n...Nothing." Mara said nervously.
"By the way, where are Joe and Quenni?" She receives a call from Quenni but why are the two of them are missing?
"The two of them are in our hideout in Wangjing. We didn't expect that bear will undergo his second mutation, so we decided to go back for reinforcement, but we didn't expect that we will encounter this beast on our retreat." Vern explained in pain.
"Oh." She expected that to happen when she saw the mutant beast. As that beast, sense of smell was upgraded, after its mutation.
"So what's the plan, Captain?" Mara ask.
"Go back and meet with the two in Wangjing, I will follow that beast to slay it." The two didn't have time to say anything as Marie already leap on a tree, to chase the two-headed bear.
"Our strength compared to Captain is like heaven and earth."
"Sigh." The two left in depress manner.
HAHA, fight it?
Fool!
You are too weak!
Just give up and sleep!
"No! I will not give up, all of you begone!" Jack shouted; his body was in pain as the mysterious force continued to pour inside of him.
Stupid!
We are one!
We are all the same.
We are born from your soul!
While he was holding his head from pain, the round object following him appeared in front of him, Jack noticed the strange object in front of him.
He had a strange feeling that this metal can save him. So hurriedly grab it, looking at the middle he saw a word inscribed in a foreign language and a string connected on its back.
He touches the string with his finger. "Destroy."
A drop of his blood falls into the metal as it absorbs and released a bright glow then dive on his eyebrow. Confusion appeared on his face, as he stared at his empty hand.
Then a mechanical voice resounded inside his mind.
[Greetings, My new Master.]
Jack was flustered.
Before he can respond, the voice interrupted his thought.
[The host is currently unstable due to the incomplete soul.
The system advice host to seal the seven souls residing inside your body.
Warning: Due to your weak soul, we cannot suppress the seven soul inside of your body.
Warning: The seven soul inside your body exceeded the power of the system can provide.
Warning: Because the power of the seven souls exceeded the system, it cannot provide any assistance.]
The fuck, then what can you do! Jack retorted.
[After calculating all of the possible solutions, the system sacrificed all of his power that turned the system from returning to its basic form.]
"The..." Jack
[Hose brain capacity was increasing at a tremendous rate, due to the limiter fading, the host will lose the feeling of pain, fear....]
[The increase of brain capacity can't keep up with the body of the host, resulting in the host lifespan reduction.
Currently, the host brain capacity increased to 30%.
If the host brain capacity hits 50%, the host body will turn into particles.
The system suggested to stop the increase: Yes/no]
"Yes." Jack gritted his teeth.
[Processing...]
[The host gains a unique ability. Do you want to name it?]
Jack felt his eyesight, hearing, thinking improve tremendously.
"No, you can give it a suitable name;" Jack said without any hint of emotion.
[Searching...
Base on your unique ability and the information about this world.
The seven soul you possess has the traits of the seven deadly sins!
Is the host want the name Seven Deadly Sins?]
"Yes." Jack was surprised, but after thinking about it, the name fits it well.
"Give me an advice base on my situation."
[The system advice the host to temper his body.]
Before Jack could nod in agreement, a loud roar resounded behind him. On his back, a two-headed bear filled with minor wounds stared at him with deadly eyes.

The Card Thief of Culnivar
Deep with the cozy kingdom of Daeton, among the generation-old farmlands and villages, a young farmer’s daughter stumbles upon a dead man. His elaborate clothing has been torn to ribbons, yet his skin remains unblemished. His face is peaceful, and tucked into the hand lying across his chest can be seen a solitary playing card. He is a Ludum Haeres. The last remnant of a Summoner. Numbered among those few capable of changing their destinies. The unseen rulers of the world known as Vesperia, and one of the most powerful creatures in existence. The woman knows none of this. And so, she picks up the card... This is my third novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the second being "The Dawnfire Archives". This story is something of a test in a new genre, that of CardLIT. We'll see how well it succeeds as the story continues. It takes place in a different setting than my other tales, with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.

A Portal Fantasy Comedy Poem
Mix an adolescent shepherd boy in love with a girl who wants to meet existentialists, a Viscount in need of an adventure, and a bland psychic. Add in a flippant god. Put them in a land made up of the after-lives of various different cultures. Stir gently. Sprinkle in some random Midgard Serpent, Genghis Khan, Scheherazade, and a cussing mocking bird. Fry lightly. Season to taste and serve with desired garnishes. Bon apetit! A comic fantasy poetic epic, filled with misfits, slapstick routines, light romance, people shouting out the names of their battle skills before using them, old philosopher dudes running around naked, a very serious lamb, demonic knitting, battery operated magic swords and even more traumatising stuff! I experimented with different styles in the beginning and finally settled on an ABABBCBC rhyme scheme (Give me your 0.5s. Gimme, gimme, gimme. I'm collecting them, seriously)
