Chapter 6 of Book 2, sorry it took so long to release this one.
Enjoy~
As soon she touch Ning’s hand, she immediately felt a shock run through her body and felt that her newly acquired Pure Phoenix Sun Qi was being devoured at an abnormally fast rate. It only took seconds before the Qi in her dantian was completely depleted.
However, she breathed a sigh of relief when she noticed that it was steadily recovering itself, but shock was still plastered on her face. As the young child’s skin started to glow with golden red fire, then disappearing as it entered his body.
May, did touched the child again and this time nothing happened. She tried to wake him up, but it was of no use, he was sleeping like a rock. Thinking of no other way, she carried the child and found that he was not heavy, but was extremely light.
Getting out the room and heading towards the balcony then, standing on the railings, she suddenly jumped down. When she was falling, she naturally heard the screams from below, however they would receive the shock of their life when beautiful Golden-Red Phoenix Wings appeared behind her.
When the civilians saw the wings behind her, they all stopped talking and started to stare at the beautiful woman that looks like angel of fire. Landing safely on the ground and the wings disappearing, the crowed regained their sense and started to take out their phones to take pictures.
Approaching the old man who was beside a pure black limousine. The old man opened the door and she entered the limousine followed by the old man. Signaling the driver to head to their destination, the old man and May, continued to talk about on how to increase her strength in the shortest yet safest way.

When the sun reaches its highest point of the day, the limousine has arrived to its destination, parking in front of a pier, where there is a long line of people present waiting to enter the giant white cruise ship. Leaving the limousine, they entered the pier and directly headed towards the stairs leading to the entrance of the ship, even ignoring the line.
This caused the people in line to scream and shout in anger, as they we’re waiting for hours, only to be cut off by an old man, a woman, and a child. The old man stared at the crowd coldly making them instantly shut their mouths and the woman continued on her way to the stairs.
Before she could step on the stairs a figure of a young-man with handsome features, wearing a black suit appeared.
“Miss, please stand behind the line”
“Why should I?”
“Miss, this is the rules set by our captain, no matter who you are, you must wait behind the line and wait like the others”
“I will give you two options, either get out of my way or die”
“Miss, this is the last warning I would give” the man’s started to get cold and Qi started to gather around his arms.
May, seeing this was ready to respond in the same manner, however before she could, Ning had awoke from his sleep, jumped from her arms and straight towards the young-man. He did not expect the child to rush at him, but it did not matter as he was still going through with his attack.
However, Kueng Ning, was faster and in mere seconds, his fist meet the young-man’s face, causing his head to bend backwards unusually and bones could be visibly heard cracking. Looking at the corpse before him with cold eyes, he started to raise his foot intending to crush this man’s body, for trying to hurt his mother.

But, it did not happen as May, quickly carried Ning into her arms and started to sing a lullaby using a bit of her Pure Phoenix Sun Qi, to give the sensation of warmth and safety to put him to sleep. Knowing that his mother is safe, he slowly closed his eyes and once more slept.
Seeing the young-man’s dead body caused a commotion, as the people in line started to release their Qi, and the children in line fainted as soon as the dead body entered their eyes. Hearing the commotion an old man, having short white hair as well as a beard, wearing a captain’s cap and uniform, came out from the entrance of the ship.
He looked towards the young woman and the child carrying in her hands, then his gaze froze once he saw the old man behind them. Knowing this old man’s identity, he decided it was best to ask the woman in a polite tone than a harsh one. Going down the steps and arriving in front of the woman, he ask.
“Ma’am, may I know what has happened here”
“Ah! Captain Charles, long time no see. Please excuse this incident here, as my grandson has no control of his power and was only protecting my daughter” the one who answered was not the woman, but the old man behind him.
“Long time no see as well, Elder Andrew. I have a rough guessed what has happened, and I apologize on behalf of our company”
“No matter. We will settle in the same room as always. I suspect, we will be interrogated?”
“Yes, it is protocol”
“Then, please send someone to take our side of the story later, we will rest first”
“Please go on ahead”
Seeing that there would be no obstructions to their path, the woman kept going up the stairs and went inside the ship. She was being followed by the old man, but suddenly stopped when he arrived at the side of Captain Charles, he whispered something before continuing on his way.
Once the two we’re gone from everyone’s sight, they people line started to have an outcry of anger, unfairness and especially fear. When the captain heard their shouts, he turned his attention to them with a cold gaze and said.
“Only once am I going to say this. Do not bother those people. If you do, I am not responsible for your death’s and no matter what your background is, no one can get revenge. This is my warning”
Saying no more, the captain headed back into the ship and one of the employees got the body of the dead man and just threw the body out into the sea. The people in line we’re all dumbstruck by what the captain said and took his word to heart.
After a while, the people in line started to move and enter the ship. A few hours in, everyone was on board, all luggage’s are in, everything was green and the ship started to depart. Then, the captain announced over the intercom in Filipino said.
“Salamat po sa inyo pang sakay sa akin barko, ito ang unang araw natin pang puntang bayan na London”

Author's note: I love the idea of kingdom-building novels and think the genre has a lot to offer, but I don't think many authors do them very well. Here is my attempt. The novel has a strong focus on politics and kingdom building, with occasional action and a bit of humor. Have fun. Cover was made by MrZombie Updates three times a week.
