Chapter 3! hope you guys enjoy.

As well as a heads up, Book 1 will probably end at the chapter 7 ~10.

Basically, Book 1 is an introduction before the real training arc starts.

“Father! I found something important!” Scarlett shouted, as she heard the conversation between the demon and her father, and after getting out of the cave within the mountain.

The middle-aged man did not reply and immediately disappeared from the air, and appeared right beside his daughter to check her condition.

“Scarlett, why did you use your Phoenix Arts? Your body has yet to adjust to the changes from the blood of the Phoenix”

“Dad, I’m sorry but I need to tell you something”

“What is it?”

“Within this mountain, I found an entrance to the cave. Inside I found a grave and a child younger than me. The grave belonged to Meng Li, and the child is her son. Aunt May, would be here soon. We have to protect this place from the Demons”

“WHAT?! Why did you not tell me earlier?!”

“My cellphone broke, I’m sorry”

“No worries, now I know why there are so much demons gathered here”

“Lead me to the entrance”

The Demon naturally heard this, giving an order to the rest of the demons to drop the disciples. Then, all of them, disappeared in an instant.

Scarlett guided her father, to the crevice and both of them arrived at the cave, and went deeper in. The entrance to the cave, suddenly collapse and they we’re now surrounded by multiple demons.

The royal demon approached them with a child in his arms, with burnt skin. The demon, had an angry expression and started to release hi MoQi that even his fellow demons couldn’t help but step back. Being in this pressure, Scarlet went to her knees and peed herself with tears coming out of her eyes, while the middle-aged man was barely standing, trying to resist.

“Human girl, you dare harm my master?!”

The pressure got heavier and resulted in Scarlett fainting. Before she her head hits the ground, her father caught her, but was immediately kicked by the royal demon, and slammed into the wall of the cave, leaving a large crack.

“Hear me! Kill all of their disciples and destroy their transportation then go back to our base” the demon commanded. In which the other demons happily obeyed, flying straight to the top, destroying the mountain top, making large amount of debris and rocks to cover the cave.

The man was holding his stomach while, continuously coughing up blood. The royal demon took one last look at the man and the girl, then flew into the air disappearing from their sights. Seeing, the demon gone, the man approached his unconscious daughter, and surrounded them with dome made from flames, to protect them from the falling rocks.

While, the other demons we’re slaughtering the already injured disciples. The royal demon, continued to fly towards the Northeast.

Night came and within the demon’s sight was another island, where he landed at the shore. He laid the child down at the sand, and started to remove the remaining burnt clothing.

Placing his hand on the child’s chest, he started to channel his MoQi, into the child, which the child’s body pores opened and started to greedily suck in the essence of MoQi. The royal demon, was starting to turn pale as the child kept getting the essence of his MoQi.

After a while, the demon breathed a sigh of relief when the child stopped absorbing the essence, and his skin started to turn back to its original color of clear white, clean of any scars or wounds. However, though it had stopped absorbing his MoQi, it was still absorbing the Qi, coming from Earth, Heavens and Stars.

This brought a smile on the Royal Demons face, however it turned one into seriousness, when he knows the dangers of absorbing too much different kinds of Qi. The demon took a black ring out from his pocket, and puts it in the right middle finger of the child.

Standing up and gazing up in the sky, then looking at the child he said.

“Young master, I would have to leave you for a few weeks. I promise, when I return, I will fix your body, and you shall stand on top of the world”

“If not for that man’s stupid mistake, you would not have to be in this predicament”

“Our plan for you to live a peaceful life, was destroyed, we have failed”

“Master, I hope during our separation, you will not fall for the humans false sayings”

Without saying else, the royal demon took off into the sky, flying far away from the, the island, leaving the child sleeping at the shore.

When morning came, the child woke up and started to search his surroundings. All he remembered was being attack by a girl named Scarlett for an unknown reason, and when he came too, he was here, naked, in the shore of an island.

His attention was now on the black ring that mysteriously appeared on his right middle finger. He immediately knew what this ring was, it wan interspatial ring, but this ring was one very close to his heart, as this ring, was his mothers.

It was buried deep within her grave, for the only time he would be allowed to retrieve it, according to his mother’s wishes, is when we finally enters the Immortal Path. He did not know how he got to this island or how this ring got onto his finger, the only thing he does know that he will not be able to use the ring.

This is because to use an interspatial ring, one would have to meet two main conditions. First would be binding, then injecting. Binding would be the easiest, since all one needs to do is drop their blood on the ring and it would be theirs alone, aside from them, no one can use the ring, of course, unless they died. Last, would be injecting, since the interspatial ring is made by Formation Masters and Void Cultivators, one would need the usage of Qi, to open an interspatial ring.

Sadly for him, Qi is almost non-existent. Though he could absorb the essence of everything around him, without even the right cultivation technique. He has the essence, ever so growing largely inside him every day, however he cannot use that essence to turn it into his own Qi.

Sighing in defeat, he stood up and directly went deeper within the forest, to build his new base and resume his training. However, as he stood up, his greedy body stopped absorbing the essence of the Earth, Heaven and Stars, and started to become dormant once again.
