"9,994, 9,995, 9,996."

The sound of a woman could be heard, along with the crushing sound of the earth beneath her, of course, this was Ninsun, Gilgamesh's mother or sister, you can interpret their relationship any way you want.

It was around midnight, yes Ninsun was doing one hand push up, for a total of three hours now, but the twist was the fact that on her back were several giant boulders each the size of two school buses on top of one another, perfectly balance as if was never moving at all.

Her doll-like appearance just justifies her sense of fashion, even more, she had ruby-like eyes and sharp black claws.

Even now her face remained motionless, but she just came here to inform Ninsun about a rather unexpected, turn of events that she might be interested in, but the situation before her made her relate her thoughts about Ninsun's unholy appearance.

Spoke Ninsun with a defeated expression with her arms on her hip, with that said she turned her entire body around which made her look normal again."

From that command, Kashira was silent, as a cold aura traveled up her back slowly, as it makes her quiver in fear for her life, but it didn't show on her face in the slightest.

"Good with that said, why did you come all the way here, is it an emergency?"

"I don't even know if I should call this an emergency."

"What about Gilgamesh?"

"He has awakened from his slumber."

The news was so simple, yet the impact of those words hit, Ninsun like a speeding train, yes why was the revelation of Gilgamesh waking up from his sleep stirring such excited emotion within Ninsun.

Well, it was simple, Gilgamesh has a rather unique composition that Ninsun caught on very earlier upon their first meeting, and after Ninsun observed the child, she has come to accept that his unique physiology and perplexing behavior were just his way of growing up.

After all, in this foreign world, he is one of the very few people who was built differently, if you look at it from a realistic point of view, every species are built differently in a unique way but still, they all followed a core value of nature laws, both in behavior and appearances.

It's like comparing two different animals, that are basically from the same family but so different in their unique way, for example, a dog and a wolf, a cat and a tiger, or a lizard and a dragon, the same logic could be applied here as well.

But in Gilgamesh's case, his behavior is unlike that of the norm, what normal people do here he doesn't do, for example since Gilgamesh arrives at her home, she notices something that was a blessing about him.

He is so young, so fragile, so defenseless, it is clear that without the aid of a parenting figure that poor defenseless child would die, but Gilgamesh ignores that common sense, you see he doesn't require food to survive, nor does he past waste, if anything he similar to a spirit or an undead.

It is as if he is a plant, basic things like water and sunlight are all that he needs to survive, this was made clear since Gilgamesh hasn't eaten anything since he came here.

And water and the sun were probably the only things either Kashira or Ninsun has seen Gilgamesh need to survive, it is as if he doesn't need any special nutrients to survive, everything was just irrelevant.

But the mere fact that he is awake was kind of surprising.

"Are you alright Nin?"

"Yes... just a little surprised that is all, but Gilgamesh's waking periods don't last long at all, if anything when he gets up, he just goes back to sleep after drinking 7 liters of water."

"I'm aware of that, but it's been over an hour since he is awake, at first I thought that he was simply more rested than usual, it's been over six months since he has last awakened after all, and even then we still don't know anything about him."

"I see is he still awake."

"Well that's just the first part, you see he just got up suddenly, like yeah for the first time in two years, a child that hasn't learned anything from us, suddenly know how to walk, it's equally amazing and hilarious, but it's getting weirder."

"How so?"

"So, I don't know how you are supposed to raise an alien baby, but the guy got up and the first thing he did was to try and kill himself."

"Ha... what did you say."

"No, I tied him up and put him back into his crib, I also make sure to lock the door, and I also brought the key with me, just to be safe."

Yeah It has been almost two years since I brought Gilgamesh home with me, normally one would think that by this time I should already have a great relationship with this child, but honestly speaking I can't say the opposite either, the reason being I know nothing about him, hell I never even played with him once.

Why that might be the case you ask, well it's simple, from the moment I got him, he has only awakened from his slumber four times in these last two years since I brought him here.

Well it's a given I guess, reason be Gilgamesh is what many would refer to as an alien, or as the different races that exist in this world, a visitor, and every time he does awake from his slumber it's not in long intervals either.

Every time he is awake from his sleep it becomes very obvious that it's only to drink a large amount of water, or to take a sunbath, hell we only caught on to this because the first time he wakes up from his sleep, everything in the house began to float, especially any nearby water sources.

But what was creepy is the fact that he consumes large quantities of water, so much so, it makes one wonder how that much water is capable of fitting in such a small body, where does it even go?

The question itself would soon become one of the world's seven greatest mysteries.

"Sigh I was just getting warm-up, but I will cut today's training short."

From there both Ninsun and Kashira went back to the shrine they were governing, to check up on a problematic baby with a yander system, honestly what could go wrong.

[1 hour earlier]

Announce Solomon as she states the new ability of her master, upon completion of the mission of acquiring the self-sustainability ability.

Meanwhile, Gilgamesh began to wake up from his deep slumber, which reveals his rather unique pair of eyes, they were very alien-like, but have a rather unique charisma to them as well, if one would look at them, their own eyes would find it hard to even look away from his.

Gilgamesh's eyes were a pair of complete bright dark blue sclera, and his pupil was crimson red, and around each pupil, they were two rings, an inner one and an outer one in both eyes.

The inner ring was pink, and the outer one was scarlet, which gave it a rather, deep and chilling beauty to them.

The familiar feeling, of light, entered his line of vision, it was a sight that he has only seen so little of since his reincarnation two years ago.

"Agh... too bright."

"This voice, that right it just you, right Solomon."

"How longs has it been since I have been awake."

"I see, so was the awakening of the " Self-sustainability" ability successful."

"That's great although, I kind of feel bad for freeloading for two years straight with not even interacting with this new parent figure of mine.

"I get that but I want a carefree life."

The question puzzled Gilgamesh, why should he not stop an event that could ruin his peaceful life, really cut the grass before it grows, why wait any longer.

But the response he got, was rather simple and straight to the point, but it holds great importance indeed, so much so, that his future to achieving such a goal was dependent on it.

Solomon then began to say with confidence as to make the conclusion obvious.

Yes, a simple fourteen-word sentence, made Gilgamesh reflect on his life choices, he was so focused to live a normal life that he forgot of the benefits one can gain due to the suffering of others when the first fall comes.

The top Existence of the mortal world is born on that day, it's basically how the story starts, basically, due to the major spread of corruption happening worldwide every race was pushed into a corner, the abysmal were just too strong for the weak majority, in this world only about 3/10 of the people are awakening individual.

What are the awakening ones, well as the name implies, anyone who could use magic, make use of weird abilities, manage to fight a supernatural level, or anything out of the odd that is not normal among themselves is considered an awakened person?

Even a normal person with no special traits but is extremely smart can be considered an awakening one, a special talent is what many would call them.

But when the evil cult use an artifact and brought forth the plague known as corruption into this world, all races were affected so in desperation, they had to unify as one and combine their forces to push the enemy back.

And during the first fall, the top individual who contributes the most in the first week of their arrival would personally get a visit from the box yokai or as she would be referred to as Black in the future.

And when she visits these individuals they would be rewarded with a special ability, one so powerful I thought Nero didn't even stand a chance against these monsters, but that was quickly proven wrong again as eventually copy some of them for himself, as he proceeds to indirectly NTR other people yandere right before their eyes.

But like all other Mc just being the Mc gives him unlimited plot armor at a bullshit level, and if you think Nero was one of the people who got chosen by Black then your wrong, you see he just watch on the sideline since his parent got killed in the event, so meanwhile, when he was wallowing in his depression, his childhood friend Frost Genoguard was out here slaying with that main heroine plot armor and got chosen by Black, and yes she is a Yandere.

But I don't think I have to explain any further since any fellow man of culture could sniff the cliche and cringe from miles away.

But my gamer pride would not allow such defeat, or such disgrace, so as a way to direct the conversation I said with a respectful tone.

"Oh that's right, damn I forgot that horrific event, which was the first fall, it was an important event that would have brought the entire world together, yes after the first fall a total of 30% of the world was corrupted, of course, every race in the world suffered great casualties, and since Testament is such a big world, 30% of it inhabitants was a lot."
