《To Be A Senior Brother》Chapter 1: Ju Daiyu Nascent Soul

In the Plum Tree sect, there were three people who could not be offended - Sect Master Huang Di, Sect Elder Zhao Fei, and Senior Disciple Tian Lu. Now there was one more, Ju Daiyu. Ju Daiyu had been the second disciple of Zhao Fei for almost 5 years. Today, she reached the Nascent Soul realm. A feat completely unheard of in the entire Empire. At just 18 years old, she was the youngest ever to reach this realm - in the Empire. The elders of the Plum Tree sect were congratulating her and whispering amongst each other about the strength of the other disciples of Elder Fei.
Ju Daiyu, an 18 year old Nascent Soul. Legendary. Mi Rang, a 15 year old Core Formation. Incredible. And the mysterious senior brother who they haven’t seen since 5 years ago when Tian Lu made an elder kneel in front of him with the entire sect watching. This elder left mysteriously and was never seen again. As the commotion died down, Mi Rang went up to his senior sister. Mi Rang was a tall 15 year old. He had medium black hair that came to eyes and a bulkier build. He had darker skin and brown eyes. He exuded confidence and perhaps arrogance. Ju Daiyu was in a purple robe. She had long black hair and jade skin. After achieving Nascent Soul, she had a glow about her.
“Senior Brother and master must still be cultivating, Senior Sister. Congratulations on your incredible achievement.” He said as he bowed with his hands clasped.
Ju Daiyu opened her eyes. Breaking through to the Nascent Soul Realm was surprisingly easy. It seemed she never faced any bottlenecks in her cultivation ever since she got to the Plum Tree Sect. She knew it was because her Senior Brother had carefully and meticulously guided her cultivation; although, her master said to never tell him or anyone of this information. She had only met this Senior Brother twice, once when she accepted Master Fei’s discipleship and again when Mi Rang joined as well. He was clouded in secrecy and never really went outside his cultivation cave.

“It is enough that you are here. Junior brother.” She said with a smile. Her smile enraptured all the young disciples of the Plum Tree Sect who had watched to see their senior sister attempt a breakthrough that none of them have ever heard of - as they were all from the Empire.
“Truly an incredible moment for our sect, and for you as well. It came at an opportune time.” Huang Di relayed to all those present. Ju Daiyu looked up to see the sect master and the four Great Elders fly on their weapons. His voice was soft and yet everyone was able to hear it. She couldn’t see the depths of his cultivation but Ju Daiyu knew the sect master was powerful. Not more powerful than her master, nonetheless powerful in the Empire.
“I have a gift for the young Nascent Soul cultivator and a message to all sect disciples. Ju Daiyu, Mi Rang, Gong Chang, Mei Ahn, and Tian Lu have been chosen to go to the Empire’s secret realm. I believe none of you can protest our choices for most of them but Mei Ahn has been chosen for her ability to understand formations. In this secret realm, a formations expert is a must and to make sure we can ascertain the safety of our talented disciples, Elder Wei will be joining Elder Fang. The other three were chosen based on the previous tournament rankings. And Disciple Lu. I hope I do not need to say any more.”

Boosted Restart – A new chance in a different world (GL)
Sophia wasn't happy with her life. Due to some wrong decisions, she'd become really shy and introverted, to the point it hinders her from having basic interactions or even conversations. Not being able to talk with women at all, the only gender she's interested in, caused her to feel really lonely. The girl wanted to change, but she got too stuck in her ways. After all this time, Sophia had become unable to do so without help. One day, while she was busy complaining about her situation, she accidentally missed a red traffic light. This accident led to the end of the life she hated so much. However, she was saved from certain death by a mysterious being. He called himself an overseer of the worlds and gave her a second chance in a different world where even magic exists. He also granted her some boosts to make her life easier. Hoping to finally change herself, Sophia asked him to make her more outgoing, sociable, confident, and the likes. The overseer didn't just stop there. He boosted every single attribute of the girl. Every emotion and personality trait got altered, be it a positive or negative feeling. Her physical stats were no exception. This caused her to have the most literal identity crisis because she felt like someone else entirely. To make things worse, those emotional boosts aren't the most reliable ones, overcompensating or even failing from time to time. Trying to deal with these conflicting emotions, Sophia works hard to come to terms with the new her while doing her best in the new world. Exploring places, learning magic, finally finding friends again, and possibly more. Unfortunately, she learns this world's magic from a highly overpowered, easygoing, and somewhat unreliable teacher. This not only destroys the last bit of her common sense, but Sophia's application of magic also becomes rather sloppy, causing one weird incident after another. Not to mention that some of the inhabitants of her new home are a little different from what she imagined. An easy life still seemed impossible for Sophia, but for all the different reasons. ----------------------Info: Tags used elsewhere (Because RR really could use some more of them...): Genre Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Girls Love, Isekai, Romance, Slice of Life Tags Age Regression, Alternate World, Animal Characteristics, Appearance Changes, Appearance Different from Actual Age, Beast Companions, Beastkin, Carefree Protagonist, Demi-Humans, Dense Protagonist, Easy Going Life, Fantasy World, Female Protagonist, Identity Crisis, Lack of Common Sense, Magic, Misunderstandings, Modern Knowledge, Overpowered Protagonist, Personality Changes, Second Chance, Transmigration, Transported into Another World, World Travel

Iferes: Slaves Of The Gods
Iferes are creatures that roam the world. They are everywhere, and anywhere. From the deepest seas, to the highest mountains. From the heart of volcanos, to the never melting glaciers. Some are weak, some are strong. Some are calm, some are bloodthirsty. What they all have in common, is that they fight for survival. For hundreds of thousands of eras, humans and Iferes lived in a world of war and blood. Ifere against Ifere, Ifere against humans, and humans against humans. But one day, in a very distant past, the twelve Mystic Iferes, and the twelve greatest kings of humanity, joined hands to end that cruel era. Together, they created a contract. A contract that, once made, would bound the two parties, and could only be broken in death. Millions of years went by, and that period of war faded in legends. And a child was born, a child that would change everything. For bad or worse, only time would say. ----------------------------- Hello, everyone! Just a few warnings before you read the novel, so you won't be disappointed. First of all, as you can probably tell, I took more than a few ideas from pokemon and the like. It's almost impossible to write a novel where creatures (Iferes) have a major part in, and not relate it to pokemon. However, as you will see as the novel goes on, I tried (and I think I succeeded) in making a universe of my own. I am sure you will like it. Secondly, compared to pokemon, my novel is a lot darker, as you probably noticed by the synopsis. I also try to give a wild west vibe to it, if you know what I mean. Thirdly, you should check out my fanfic Broke: A Clone Wars Tale. Biased as I am towards it, I think it's a great story, and so do many of my readers. It will also give you a glance at what writing style to expect. Fourth and last, I feel like it's only fair that I tell you I am a student. As much as I love writing, my main priority will always be my studies. After all, writing is just a hobby for me, at least for now (fingers crossed). As such, there probably will be interruptions in the release schedule here and there, but, if you followed me on my other novel, you will know I rarely missed an upload, and, when I did, I always made up for it. So, with all that said, I hope you can give the novel a try, and leave a review. If you are a new reader, I hope we can have a lot of fun along the way. If you read Broke, then we already made a journey together, and I hope you will follow me on a new one. Also, you should check out my patreon, there you can get chapters in advance (although they will all be published normally after a while), and a few other benefits. I appreciate every bit of support you can give me! patreon.com/reis123 PS: there will be romance, but no harem or reincarnation. The MC is just someone who was born and raised on this world.

Two Existentialists | S.R.
"How many existentialists does it take to screw a lightbulb?" Spencer asked with a small laugh. Once again the room was silent. You faintly heard Agent Rossi mutter, "Don't.""2. One to change the light bulb and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness," he said. The room was silent still, until you laughed. His eyes looked up at yours in confusion. "Wouldn't they sit in the dark and hope that the bulb decided to light again? An existentialist would never change the bulb. He would allow the darkness to exist," you questioned.-#1 #spencerreid#1 #mgg#1 emilyprentiss
