"What do you mean work?! I'm a fuc- just a kid!" I shout at maria, which in turn rewards me with her trademark scary smile.
"Huuh? Boy, you broke a room(wall) in MY inn, either fix the room(wall) or work for me until you have enough money"
"Well if that's what I need to do then, fine!" 'Seriously, what the fuck happened? Her nice aura earlier just did a 180° turn'.
I go to the wall where I made the "beautiful" hole. As I start thinking of a way to fix the wall, if its just made out of wood, then that's easy. I start using nature magic, one of my tails glow a faint green. 'so my tails glow depending on what kind of magic I use? I'll have to experiment about that'. By using nature magic I made a wall using the broken planks of wood I can find lying around, I "fixed" the wall. Well, you can say that, it looks wierd but its fixed.
"Done!" I shout and turn my head towards maria. She looks mad?... 'I think it's bad if I stay here for any longer, quick! Run to the door and to the nearest city!' As I make a dash for the door, not too fast though or it'll look suspicious. She grabs my cloak and pulls me to her eye level. 'What the fuck? How strong is she?'
She looks me dead in the eyes and a look of fear, dread and desperation spreads across my face, she says "what if I just sell you to the slave traders? A beastman with magic might fetch a high price." My ears perk up when I heard her. 'Seriously! What happened to the kind maria earlier? But if i'm sold to slave traders, I can just beat them up and run away!' I lower my head to hide my smirk. 'Hehehe, bitch, do it! Sell me!'

After a while of debating to herself the bitch, a.k.a. maria threw me in a carriage and tied me up. Wait! She left me alone! I just have to use around 10% of my power to break the ropes and run. I snap the ropes and jump out of the carriage and run to freedom.
Or that was what was supposed to happen. After she tied me up, she came back and stabbed me with a fucking knife and I feel asleep.
*few hours later*
"Ughhh" I can't feel my legs and my head still feels woozy T^T. Where am I? I speak to myself and see myself in some kind of cage. 'Hah! These dumbfucks think they can lock me up? Im very strong! I can just snap these bars as if they were sticks' I reach out towards the iron bars and I feel as if something is burning my whole body and I fall limp in the cage. 'What the fuck?' I thought as I realize I have this strange collar on my neck. It seems this thing prevents me from exiting the cage... can I use devour on it? Well, it's worth a shot, I think "devour" and focus on my collar. A Dark red mist materializes and starts chipping away at the collar, 'Hah! bastards, i'll kill you as soon as I get out of here'
I reach towards the iron bars and... Yes! No bad shit happens! Now then. I didn't notice it but a creepy grin finds it's way to my handsome face.
*SNAP*
A snapping sound is made from the bars I just broke. I then hear a high pitched voice "What was that?" That sounds like the girl earlier. 'Bitch! So she's one of them? Just you wait, i'll slaughter all of you' I squeeze myself out of the cage making the least amount of noise possible, then get on top of the carriage. There I see an old man, sitting in a meditative position.

I try using shadow magic and meld my body to the shadows, but I failed. I tried again and... SUCCESS!! I resist the urge to shout and do a victory dance. I then creep towards the unsuspecting old man and....

The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol).
