Opening the door, i immediately spotted a lone girl sitting in the same table we sit yesterday, intentively reading the book that's stacked on her side.

Now that i looked at her again, she really is plain. With dirty brown short hair, brown eyes and freckle face, she's literally look like a villager girl's cutout from a RPG model catalog. And yet, judging from mana alone, i could confidently said that she's quite capable for a human...If there's a comparison, she would be similar to another human magician i know of.

Such an interesting character, indeed.

As i thinking of such thing, i casually walk passed her and pick out some book, acting like someone who wouldn't want to bother a reading person. After that, i purposefully chose a seat right across from her and started reading it.

Incidentally, the book i read today was a romance story between an angel and a dragon.

...Half an hour later, after i finished reading the book.

"E-Excuse me, could you please move out of the room?"

Dropping a bucket of sweat, the magician stand up and ask while looking at Ran standing behind me... Can she look even more like a country bumpkin?

"I'm sorry, but the King specifically called me to aid Lady Maribel throughout her stay as the castle..."

"S-Sorry, but could you please..."

Ran then silently walking out of the room, leaving us two alone.

"...Thank you, i feel really awkward having a maid followed me along."

"Me too, it have been years since i left the town, and i still can't get used to having maid accompany me."

"Oh? I thought you would come from some city with high education?"

"Yes, the part when the Dragon personally come to the Angel directly to flirt with her always get to me!"

"Is it because after that, the Dragon boldly seduced and swoon the others before he get chased out of Heaven?"

"Yes that's it! that Dragon is the worst, yet you can't help but to cheer on them..."

Sorry Dragon, but you kinda earn it anyway.

And so, using the Dragon as the stepping stone, we continue discussing the story. From how the Angel get instantly swooned by the Dragon and spend each day it come to win over, to the introduction of an unexpected love rival that's just recently figured out his feeling, to how the Dragon realize it own feeling as the last moment...

"Hic... A-And then, and then.... "

"Milady, here the tissue."

Holding the box of tissue, Ran let the magician take it to wipe out the tear. Look like she doesn't notice her yet.

"P-Please don't force yourself saying that."

*sniff*" But... but they're going to be together foreveeeeer- WAAAAA~~!!"

While patting her back, i waited for the magician to calm down a little.

Really, this is why romance story is so...

" (taking more tissues) *Sniff*... S-Sorry, i'm always get so- (blowing her nose)- emotional after this."

"Y-You seem to really like this story..."

"Hic...B-Back when i *sniff* w-worked as the librarian for my own study, i *sniff* always read this every weekdays. S-Some how, the more i read, the more i get *sniff" invested in it... L-Like when they dresses each other during their date, and how the Angel's eyes always sparkling each time she look at the Dragon... Sorry, look like i'm about to cri- WAAAAA~~!"

...Not to mention this thing have a hidden light curse that let everyone reading this to feel the same as the author's. If the reader wasn't me though, they could get consume by the author's feeling and then cue the waterworks.

"Now, now... calm down a little and let put this book aside, shall we?"

"Hic...S-Sure."

"...We sure tried to break the ice huh?"

"...Yeah, I noticed that a-and you noticed that. We're all lost in a strange world after all."

"...Say...can we introduced ourselve? We still haven't had the chance to do it properly yesterday after all."

"Sure... my name is Ley, the Head Magician of the Regrana Kingdom. Nice to meet you."

"...My name is Maribel Hearn. Nice to meet you too... and i hoped for your help in the future."

"...Sure, what can i do?"

"Well, i really need help in magic... her's explanation is too hard, and i can't seem to do it like her..."

"...D-Don't worry! I'm sure you will get better!"

Well, whenever i want then.

"Thank... Well, see you. Right now i'm need to see other people and introduced myself..."

Stopping me, who was about to reach out to the door, she give me a certain note.

"This note contain the name of all the people i knew in this castle...I hope this can aid you well."

Finally, i open the door, and just when i'm about to come out, i turned around...

"Oh,and... I hope we could be friend someday."

...And say so, leaving her full of guilt.
