You see, it's really boring to just living in seclusion and defeated the evil like some hidden hero. So, i force myself (and the angel) into the royalty and make my appearance.

The reason for that flamboyant act of the Angel, however, is to make myself look like a typical heroine who's forced to become a hero.

Aside from wanting to do so, it's to make myself look sympathetic... and vulrenable.

That would be important if i want to do my others plan...

After that, i tried to signal the king, looking as desperate as possible. But the king doesn't responded due to shock. That frozen look of him is truly golden.

Luckily, the princess responded, and tried to calm her down.

Few minute later, the plain girl came back, along with a certain object in her hand. It's look like a green slab with a rectangle impression in the middle. Hidden in it, however, i could see a formation of many magic-like circle and line that connect its.

It look surprisingly modern.

"U-Um, Miss Hero..."

"P-please, call me Maribel. I'm not really used to being called a hero."

I mean, i'm not even human .

(You sure don't.)

"T-Then please, Miss Maribel. Place your hand in the rectangle."

"O-Okay..."

After that, I felt as if the flow of mana is being transfer through my hand to the slab, as it began to glow a greenish color.

Good think I stored it at the forest earlier.

In fantasy, it's common sense for "Magic Item" to exist.

Because magic is anything that can't be simply understood. So for common people, it's point to anything that act "magically".

In this world, Magic Item is splited into 3 types: Mana, Science and Hybrid . The classification is generally based on what principles it work on. The slab I have before me is of the first type, made by engraving magic circle used to activate "Status's Analysis". Once it's activated by sucking your own mana, it could detect the status of the indivitual. This slab in particular is the higher version, capable to reveal one true status and even detected ones skill, compare to the one used regularly in the gate to cities across this continent. (according to Miharu)

Obviously, I have completely fooled its, and the entire castle's personnel, there by succeeded one more of my plans: To test whether i could disguise myself in this continent...
