"Follow me then, i will bring you to your new squad."
"Very well, I'll take him in, i suppose standard drill?"
"It seems he has had some military training so skip that, just get him some equipement, the pin and go for some practice."
"Alright, newbie, let's go to the armoury, and let's see what you know."
"Alright but, what is that about a pin?"
"Well... it doesn't matter if we are prideful, we are an army so there has to be some distinctive from everyone else."
"Does that mean there is no official uniform? Just a pin?"
"That's right, there were some concesions to keep everyone more or less happy so you can wear whatever you want."
"Hah...HahahahahahaHAhHAHAHA! Yeah! HAHAHAHA!"
"Huh... you seem... oddly happy with this? Something the matter?"
"Ehem... sorry, it's just that... i wasn't exactly given much choice over the matter in a... long time."
"... Alright whatever. As long as you put the pin in a visible place there will be no problem, but we only give the pin, the clothes and everything else will be entirely on your account so, keep that in mind."

"Yessir."
"Well, here is the pin. Now chose some clothes and equipment, pick whatever but there are no refunds."
"Yessir, thank you sir."
"... I like your attitude newbie but keep it for deployment, it'd be weird to hear it at all times."
"Of course, then if you excuse me."
ORGANIZATION#InsertNongenericName#SummoningResponseTeam#FootSoldierInProbation. SUPPLIES. CLOTHES. EQUIPMENT. CONSUMABLES.
"I'm done."
"Alright, now let's... what?"
"It's a poncho."
"I... i know it's a poncho, i just... i don't know if i'm more surprised that you chose it or that we had it at all..."
"It's comfortable so... is it a problem?"
"No, no just... let's go."
"Alright newbie. Any specialties you want to speak of, besides leaving people dumbstruck for the strangest of reasons."
"Well, most of my career was about bouncing from battlefield to battlefield and destruction operations from deep behind enemy lines so, i know how to keep myself hidden against conventional means, barehanded combat and some infiltration and assassination techniques that are mostly useless because i can't exactly go unnoticed, but i can hold my own in the frontline well enough."
"Hmmmm... so an elite multipurpose infiltration team that could serve as reinforcements in case of necessity?"
"More like a suicide squadron that was expendable enough to use at leisure."
"You've won the pit with practically the lowest soul level an imp can have, in my book, that means elite level."

A Monster's Jaunt
Joshua the Mighty is a hero renowned by none. He is awful at fighting, refuses to take a bath, and is frankly a detriment to all that encounter him. This story, thankfully, is not about him. In a small part of the woods, secluded from human contact, lies the Witches' Grove, a sanctuary for beasts and creatures of all kinds from hunting and destruction. Joshua, through no fault of his own, stumbles into the grove, and is immediately killed for trespassing. This story is about the small shapeshifter that sees him die, and has an idea that will change the world.

The Head That Wears The Crown
It's a tale as old as time. Boy goes to funeral. Boy gets sucked into a different world. Boy has to lead a settlement. Boy has to lead a settlement? Boy has to lead a settlement. This is a story about that settlement, and some other stuff. Maybe. Disclaimer: Not sure if it qualifies enough for a gore tag. There is a description of someone's death somewhere in this, but I don't think it is descriptive enough to justify a gore tag. Disclaimer part deux: I initially started writing this as background for another story but got so into it I just ended fleshing it out a bit. Disclaimer part tres: People love reading disclaimers don't they? It's why I've included so many. They're just for you. Disclaimer part four: I know, this is getting egregious. You're starting to find it less funny. Just wait till the twentieth disclaimer, it will start being funny again. Disclaimer part five: I'm kidding, this is the last one. I don't promise I'll read every comment or message, but I certainly welcome your feedback. Disclaimer part six: I lied, it wasn't the last one. I wrote this story without breaking it down into chapters. It just goes, that means that the chapter ends when it ends, not when there is a convenient break in the story. That means that it's very annoying for you as a reader since chapters can end mid sentence. Hah! Sucker! Disclaimer part seven: Get ready for slow updates. Who knows when this will continue. Toss it on read later and come back in fifty years. Disclaimer part eight: Cover Photo by Arthur Ogleznev on Unsplash

I'm Not a Necromancer
Teo’s only chance at awakening as a [Player] went to ruin when he was selected for the most dangerous tutorial dungeon to ever exist, Lyria’s Cemetery. Filled with undead monsters powerful enough to give a high-level ranker a run for their money, it had been firmly maintaining its title of “unclearable”. To fight against the [Paralysys] and [Fear] status effects that the undead monsters inflict, Teo poured all his points into willpower as he leveled-up, hoping to make it out alive. Awakening no longer mattered, he just wanted to survive. But the choices he made inside the ‘unclearable’ dungeon brought about a side-effect that he couldn't have even imagined in his wildest dreams. “For the last time, I am not a necromancer!!!” “But you have an army of skeletons!” “They are not mine.” “But they are following you.”

Calavera
On the edge of the desert, far from the paved roads and metal buildings of civilization, lies a small town. It is a strange place, with problems and dilemmas that other places probably don't have to deal with. Vampires who spend most of the century asleep, widows with magic eyes, teenagers with utterly inexplicable changes in mood... It's a strange place. It's their place. Addison Caffey, newly elected Sheriff of this town, has his work cut out for him. Riding herd on this group of weirdos would be hard enough without having to deal with the doubt that he could ever live up to the reputation of his predecessor, let alone the responsibilities of the job. Still, as a homegrown weirdo himself, he has plent of grit and stubbornness to see him through the awkward, early days. Until, that is, one late night on patrol around the town's graveyard.
