《It's hard being the fourth wheel in a love triangle》7 - First kill

They ride for half a day until they got to the location. Ayva was not used to the rough journey. However, he refused to act weak in front of his friends, especially a girl who did not even show any signs of tiredness. Speaking of that, Ayva glances at Eliza, how is she still acting normal?
But then he realizes, she was constantly engulfed in a small burst of light.
Holy shit, she was constantly using Heal Greater Wound to dispel her tiredness from the journey. It was almost unthinkable for Ayva who immediately thought about MP. In game, if a character spam that high tier skill like that, then it is a bug, that character will be useless because they will have used up all of their Mp. But then Ayva reminds himself that Eliza does not have MP limit like a player because she was acting like an NPC. Now he realizes just how OP she was.
Then, he glances at Leonel too, who was sitting next to her. Leonel was also fine, he does not show signs of tiredness such as Ayva, Micah or Albrect. In game, Heal Greater Wound was a single target skill, however, real life was a bit different from the game. It seems that when Eliza fired the spell constantly like that, Leonel was also engulfed by the effect of the holy skill as long as he touched the light.
Ayva has to shield his eyes, the two was literally shining on their white horse.
Finally, feeling the effect of the journey on his body, Ayva told Eliza when he was near her.
"Ellie, instead of Heal Greater Wound, could you use Mass Heal Greater Wound on everybody?"
The red-head frowns at Ayva when she heard him
"And why would I do that for you? Mass Heal Greater Wound takes a lot longer to cast."

Ayva wanted to argue some more, however an arrow took him by surprise.
Instantly, from 500 meters away, his eyes was drawn toward the projectiles before anyone could react. His eyes were instantly on the projectile, and the shooter.
In fact, [Evra] from the game has a skill to detect danger. It is an extra skill that Ayva took for his in game avatar but never use. It was because he didn't meet the stat requirements
Detect Enemy Requirements: INT 12, DEX 10 Cost: 3 MP Reduce random enemy encounter by 50% for 10 turns
It was a double edge skill, of course it is extremely useful, reducing random encounter. However, Faulty Heroes was an Idle Game, anything that reduces opportunities to grind may be counter-intuitive. He has been playing an Unga Bunga play through anyway, so Ayva never increases Evra's INT.
However, right now, Ayva was able to accurately tracks down the assailant.
20 of them, archers.
It was not one arrow but a hail of them.
Driven by a strange instinct, Ayva jumped first to the surprise of everyone. The moment he jumped, an arrow whizzes past his face, embedding itself into Micah who was behind him.
The knight from the capital yells in pain, letting go of his horse.
The hail of arrow showers the party with arrows. They hit the horse causing them to throw everyone off, only Ayva was in the air. On his lips, there was only a strange whispering
"Evra..."
Micah survives the first ambush, however, Albrect, an unarmored wizard was not as lucky. His robe proved to be terrible defense against arrows.
Eliza and Leonel on the other hand prove to be a strange sight.
In the air, Ayva's eyes widen when the horse throws Eliza in front of Leonel, who is trying to gain his bearing. She broke her right arm the moment she fell. Because she was in front, the hail of arrow got to her first.

Yet, tragedy never came, in front of her and Leonel, a miracle happens.
Eliza manages to raise her left arm in time. A blue shield shines and the hail of arrow was stopped by an invisible barrier.
BRAVER SHIELD activated just in time.
And just like that, Eliza saved both Leonel and herself.
On Ayva's part, he was about to land after his high jump, and yet again, he surrenders himself to instinct.
The man retracts his legs and arms just in time for two arrows to whizz by.
Even when he touches the earth, even more attacks come. Ayva moves through it while Ellie is holding up the shield of the Braver to protect everyone behind her. Getting the hint, Micah drags Albrect with him and moves behind Ellie. Countless arrows head toward Ayva when he was on the ground, outside of Ellie's protection range.
"He-"
Before she could finish her words, Ayva disappears from his spot, dodging all of the projectile.
He has already moved toward the assailant.
Regaining enough of his wits, Micah manages finally yell out
"BANDITS!"
At that time however, the only thing in Ayva's head was
"STOP! STOP! I don't want to go there!"
However, his body was on autopilot, weaving over the projectile. Ayva finally realizes what AGI 20 and 90% dodge in real life looks like.
Finally, upon reaching a certain distance, his right arm twitches. Ayva looks down, but it has already moved. In the air, he saw a bolt of white light flashes in the air, toward the group of assailant. While everyone was busy looking at the flying holy bolt, Ayva follows the bolt. He moves almost as fast as the holy lance just to reach it in time, using that AGI 20 to the limit.
The holy spear sped through the air, its intensity scare the bandits into breaking range. It was as if they were stared down by an angry god. It was easy to understand because the spear was no normal spear. Just like the Braver Shield in Eliza's hand, what Ayva holds was a legendary equipment gained by looting the Demon King's castle.
It was the spear of Odin, Gungnir.
And it does not miss.
Ayva reaches the holy spear just in time for it to finish its deadly arc.
Gungnir never misses. When it finishes its arc, it hits the person in front of Ayva in the neck.
However, it was not done. Combine the inability to miss with Ayva's 4 hits attack, the holy spear in the air retracts unnaturally. It has to hit 4 times, no matter how unnatural it is. The spear falls down, 3 more times, through the arm, the chest, then straight through the face.
Ayva counted
"Bandit Archer
HP: 150
Damage: 20
Hit: 1
Can use: Bow"
Ayva counted
"120 CRITICAL!, 22, 30, 100 CRITICAL HIT!"
In shock, Ayva swipes down what is in front of him, while Gungnir was in his right arm.
His front is covered in splattered blood and gore.
Gungnir punctures the other's face, creating a hole from which Ayva can see what is behind the archer bandit. Finally, the hit through the neck causes his head to fall down.
People start screaming after such display of violence, however, the person whose screams was the loudest was Ayva
