As expected, leveling up a character that has reset is meaningless. There are no stat gain because the stat is already capped. Now, Ayva could only hope for the HP and MP as well as the Attack value increase properly. It would be hard to be the dodge cannon if the damage value is handicapped.

Still, despite the strange status, the three of them are still called to the capital. Mycah and Albrect went first to report, and that is why, Ayva has time to open his inventory.

"Hey guy, slow down for a minute. I have something for you."

With that said, Ayva starts dropping his inventory on the ground. It was his in game inventory that was brought over. Normally, these items were kept in storage, the only thing that a character should be bringing in Faulty Heroes are MP potions. Still, now that he is here, he suddenly has all of the storage that he could brought out at any point. In game, the storage could not be used on an adventure because character can't swap equipment mid combat

Leonel and Eliza look curiously at the first few items that was dropped on the floor.

Then even more items start to come out.

And then even more.

Before the day was done, a pile of equipment was laid on the floor.

There was enchanted club, staff, dagger, shortsword, long sword, warhammer, mace, spear, trident, two-handed battle-axe, rapier, long bow, bow, halberd, Katana, Curved Blade, Naginata and more.

The weapons have simple enchantment such as increasing a certain stat like VIT, STR or INT. Those are useless to Ayva because he already maxed out his two most important stats. The other kind of enchantment is embuing the weapons with an element, causing them to deal that elemental damage against enemy. Some enemy has resistance against certain elemental damage, however, it is extremely useful in most circumstance because normal armor resistance does not stop elemental damage. There was also enchanted armors that was stashed in the storage portion of Ayva's inventory.

There was Robe, Leather Armor, Wooden Mail, Chain Mail, Breastplate, Plate Armor, Lamellar.

There are almost no legendary equipment among the armor, they are almost all the same except for one.

For the shield, there was Buckler, Small Shield, Large Shield and Tower Shield that has the same enchantment as weapon and armor. When they gain an elemental enchantment, they will also protect against that element too.

Finally, the items that Ayva most wanted his friends to have was the Legendary equipment set that was gained from raiding the in game Demon Lord castle again and again.

He laid out those on the ground to the side and was prepared to tell Leonel and Eliza to pick one, however Eliza was faster on the uptake.

She looks at Ayva in the eyes with uncertainty

"What is this? What is all of this? Where did you get all of this? Why did it come out of thin air?"

Her lips were trembling just a little bit, perhaps she remembers the time Ayva brought out Giant's Bane against Aldrich.

Ayva decided to tell half-truth. He was not prepared to deal with the whole reincarnation business yet.

"Do you know about my Faulty Hero status? There are more to that than the priest could see. Apparently I have access to a portion of the power of a heroine called Evra and all the items she has collected in her life."

"Faulty... Hero." Leonel mutters

"The priest could not see anything related to Evra, but I actually have her skills too."

Leonel was looking at Ayva meaningfully as if saying he has waited for so long. But it was Eliza who speaks up first

"Why didn't you tell us?"

Ayva backs down.

"That is..."

Why didn't he tell them? Perhaps he wanted to keep an ace in his hand? Or was it because he wanted to show off to his friend at the right time? Was it simply the uncertainty?

"I'm sure Ayva has his reasons." Leonel raises a hand to intervene, as expected of a hero.

It was because he didn't trust them enough to reveal his secret when the Knight and the Wizard from the capital city was around. Said what you want about it being a teenage's rebellion about power authority figure, Ayva feels uncertain revealing his trump card to people he doesn't know and may mean him harm when in the future he would be putting his life on the line anyway.

But he trusted Leonel and Eliza enough to reveal it now.

Not satisfied with the result, Eliza stomped her feet and grinded her teeth just for a little bit.

Waiting for her to calm down, Ayva finally explained.

"We are going on a dangerous journey. Everything the country gave us won't be enough. That is why I have prepared all these items here. Every single thing is better than what a normal blacksmith would be able to make. Before going on our adventure, we should equip ourselves."

Saying that, Ayva laid out the legendary equipment as well as the best equipment.

"Say... with all of this equipments that you said are better than normal weapon and armors, wouldn't it be better if we only take what we need and gave out the rest to the country's defense force."

Leonel said diplomatically.

For a moment, Ayva feels extremely bad, the single moment that the thought all of his hard-earned items could disappear. However, in the end, those are still his, so he tries to make excuse. Excuse, excuse even though he knows that logically, Leonel is right. Because Ayva is still human, sometime he made sub-optimal choice regarding thing.

"I wouldn't do that. It is utmost important that we succeed in slaying the demon king. We are the most important. From today onward, we will go through many situations, that may require different equipment. I wouldn't give permission to give them all to the army. In the worst case scenario, it may even end up back in the hand of the demon."

Even though most of these was loot drop from them anyway.

Now that Ayva thought about it, does that mean not only are the demons superior to human in magic and power, but also equipments with all these lootdrops

'It's just game logic, get your head back in the game.'

Leonel looks dissatisfied, however, surprisingly, it was Eliza who was the voice of reason

"I agreed with Ayva. It is your safety that is utmost important, you are the hero after all."

Leonel still looks dissatisfied, however, because he was overruled, there was no more that he could say.

After that, it was equipment picking time.

Ayva explained that there was no legendary armor and weapons for wizards, so he suggested a set of enchanted equipment instead, they ended up going with

While there was no legendary armour and weapon for wizard, Ayva made sure to pick the best protective shield for Eliza. He could picture her holding the Braver Shield legendary equipment that has a 40% to nullify all damage in one hand while her staff in other to throw spells.

The girl was happy with her equipment. She did a swirl with the new equipment. Especially the Braver Shield that almost radiate heroism, glinting beautifully in the light. It was light too, everything on her body is.

"I can move just like normal!"

Eliza exclaimed.

She was happy. However, now come the hard part

Ayva was sure he and Leonel shares the same pool of equipment. Ayva laid it all out

Knowing that he was the hero, Ayva leaves the sole legendary warrior shield and armor aside and picked up a normal enchanted piece of chainmail. It was easy enough to move in, not everything need to be legendary armor, as light as a feather.

However, there was many weapons up for offer.

He moves toward his favorite weapon in the game, the most beautiful sword, Gram. In game, Gram was the pen-ultimate sword in the whole game. It has everything, from damage to protection, in exchange for being a two handed weapon. It also has the most distinctive sprite, in Ayva's opinion, the most beautiful blade in the game.

Of course, because Gram is two-handed, sometime, it is better to equip almost everything else and hold Braver Shield in the other hand. Still, for a dodge class cannon like the in game avatar Evra, it was perfect in her hand. Because she was so dodgy, protection is meaningless anyway. It was a perfect weapon for a dodge class cannon, for the unga bunga character.

However, Ayva's hand cannot reach, because at that moment, Gram was in someone else's hand.

"It is beautiful." Leonel whispers at the blade's glint in the light.

He held it up high in the sky and the reflection of the sun shines on the entire area.

It seems he has decided his weapon.

"Ah, alright then." Disappointed, still Ayva tried not to show it. Instead, he grabs Gungnir from the ground and hold it in his hand.

In game, Gungnir didn't require much strength and deal average amount of damage, still it is a legendary weapon and has 'never miss' as its special, so it is a reliable weapon. It is not as explosive as Gram, which require the in game character to max out STR to wield though, but it is reliable.

Ayva remember grinding Evra to be as minmax as possible to be able to wield Gram with anything resembling accuracy. To wield Gram, Evra has to mean max both STR and AGI. STR to be able to hold the weapon, and AGI to actually turn the explosive damage into something constant and accurate. It was as if the weapon belong to the hand of Evra, and he has never taken it off her.

However, Ayva didn't say anything. Human survival is the most important right now.

With Leonel and Eliza smiling, happy with their equipment, they move on.

"The princess is missing."

The party of three didn't even manage to make half way when Mycah and Albrect returns with urgent news.

"She wanted to meet you, the hero, so she sets out on her own. However, the tracker quickly lost sight of her. Heroes, it is urgent that we find the princess immediately before the news was leaked to the Demon"
