《It's hard being the fourth wheel in a love triangle》2 - War

"You guy seriously aren't going are you?"
Ayva asks his friends and childhood friends.
They were home after the party with the priests, who told them they would inform the king. Ayva's mind was hardpressed by the seriousness of the situation. King. Isekai. Demon lord. It is all asking for trouble. Even if they wanted to refuse, the moment it gets to the king, it has become serious trouble.
However, in the game, the in game king was mostly reasonable. But Ayva has no way of knowing he would be reasonable in real life or not. In game is... well, in game. The King is just an objective, a mean to the end game, and a quest giver. He remembers the in game plot line's progression. In game, the King was just a small NPCs who the player avatars have to save from an assassination attempt by raiding a corrupt noble's mansion, looking for proof. Then, the king would unlock the Demon Lord questline and ask the player to go to the frontline and defeat the demon lord. Before that, the player avatars was just adventurers who happen to be at the right place, at the right time, but after the quest to save the king, they became officially enlisted.
However, because they are 'faulty' heroes, even though they are enlisted, they were still treated mostly as elite soldiers instead of heroes. A step up from being random adventurers sure, but still, only 'faulty' heroes. After dismantling the Demon King's army (somehow), there was no more spoken words or questline, the player avatars went to the demon king's castle and barge through another small army of extremely Elites enemies, ranging from dragons to demoness to Elemental to Salamander. He remembers the Demon King Castle being the most memorable because it has the least amount of enemies, yet, the hardest progression. The most prevalent enemies are Demons and Dragons, which can party wipe during an encounter if player let it fully AFK.

All of that took thousands of run over the course of the Idle games. He has no illusion that in real life, he would survive. However, despite Ayva visibly tensing at the situation, his friends on the other hand was relaxed. It was as if since they are a member of this world, they have known that this day would always possibly come one day.
Was it the different between someone who used to live a relatively privilege life in another world to members of a world who was always on the verge of war with the demons?
Leonel was looking in the distance. He, the one they called hero just because he has better stats than most, has the most responsibility of all.
Even though Leonel has a really strange HP stat, it was not that much different from the dragon in the Demon King castle at all. Ayva once imagine what it would be like if NPC was actually going against eachother, he concluded that the dragons would outlast everyone not the demon lord
The Dragon in the end game has 3000 HP each, with breath attack that dealt 500 AOE attack every turns. End game Faulty Heroes have around 500 HP, so if they got hit they will die.
That is, if they didn't have other stats, like breath resistance and magic resist as well as elemental resistance from their item. So, the absolute 500 damage that was a one turn TPK turn into something survivable, that only deal around 175 damage every turns. Every turns, the priest would then heal the players somewhat for them to go again.
Evra could deal 26-40 attack per hit. At end game, she hits 8 times every turns, that is 264 damage discounting crits. The mage Agade deals around 1~1000 single target lightning damage each turn too to add on to that. However, against a dragon bonus, 1000 magic damage turns into 500. It would take full 6 turns or more to deal with a dragon.

Against that kind of walking TPK, Leonel was impressive, but he is not "the hero"
"I am going." Suddenly Leonel said, determined
"We were born with this power, with power, also responsibility. For as long as I have known, I knew that one day, I will be called to stand for my country. Will you stand with me?"
"WE ARE 13!" Ayva wanted to scream at him, he wanted to scream and ask where he got the bravado from. He wanted to say that they really shouldn't be doing this. They still have families at home. They should care about their families right?
However, for some reason, everything feels strange, with the eyes of his childhood friends looking at him, it feels like he is the one who is wrong in this situation.
"Ayva," Suddenly Eliza, his childhood friend puts a hand on his shoulder. A girl, both physically and mentally 13, yet, right now she looks to have so much more determination than him.
"Don't be a coward."
Ayva drops his shoulders feeling his friends' stare upon him. Was he a coward? Was he?
Is it wrong to perhaps not want to go to war, a war of extinction no less, against Dragons, Demons and Demon Lord? Was he really?
Perhaps he was. It would be different it was in another world. However, in this world where they were born, from when they were young, there was those like Leonel who already expected to go to war. Was it really selfish of him to not want to die when mankind is on a march against extinction?
"Perhaps..." Leonel tries to disarm the situation
"We all have a long day. Let's all get a good night rest."
Leonel has a reassuring look. Ayva could only look back with a jolt. Since when did 13 years old has this kind of charisma and confidence?
At Leonel's words, Eliza's expression melted. She puts back her smile
"Alright! If Leonel said so! I'm sure Ayva was only confused." With the implicit implication that Ayva would change his mind after a good night sleep.
Ayva feels lost as he looks at both of his childhood friends' back. He felt like he has lost them, being left behind.
However, even still, Ayva still couldn't come to grip with the face that he might just be going to war right now. 13 years of age.
The young boy stays behind, staring at the ground

Bloody Hell
Alan Maxwell has one exceptional talent. He can read peoples body language and micro expressions so well that, in many cases it's not hard for him to fake being psychic. When a foreign agency decides that said talent would make him an exceptional spy, events quickly begin to spiral out of control. With enemies on all sides, and friends that will as soon kill each other as his enemies, Alan will have to put his skills to the test in the ultimate game of cat and mouse. ===I came up with this story in response to a question. I once asked someone why there weren't really any Yandere harems. I realize that the answer to that is 'everyone dies' but thats boring so... here we are. A story I came up with explicitly as an excuse to create a harem entirely out of obsessive psychopathic axe murderers. Or in other words - "What happens to Bond girls when they disappear?"As a warning, there are sex scenes. Its tagged. I'll leave an authors note at the top of any chapter that has them if you'd prefer to skip it.
