《Chronicles of Rathia - The Era of Blood》Chapter Twelveteen - Goblin Subjugation

When I got to the point on the map where I needed to venture into the forest, it all looked like it was engulfed in an orange glow as the sun was setting behind me. I didn’t want night to fall before I made it to the dungeon entrance so I started to make haste while following the map.
By the time I could see a cave entrance, darkness was already filling the surroundings. Once I was closer, I saw that there was a post with a skull upon it with red fabric hanging off. Not being bothered by it, I look by it and into the passageway. Since goblins don’t have the best vision, it looks like they set up torches along the path. I walked up to one that was protruding from the wall and pulled it out. With my new light source in hand, I started making way through the passageway.
I was following along the narrow tunnel until I heard some screams from deeper inside. Without a moment's rest, I pick up my pace through the tunnel. As I was hurrying through, I heard several more screams, coming from at least three different people. Once I finally broke through into an area that opened a lot more, I saw the scene in front of me. There were four humans here and a bunch of goblins. The humans looked to be a warrior that was lying unconscious on the ground with a girl that looked to be a cleric crying her eyes out. Beyond them, the mage had a group of goblins ripping and tearing away at her clothing until there was nothing left but they didn’t stop there. Past her was another human that looked to be a monk who had the same treatment as the mage and goblins were tearing away at her as well.

After seeing the scene in front of me, I felt a rage boiling inside of me and as if my eyes started to glow red, I grabbed the attention of the goblins and started to rush at them.
Hey wait, that’s Goblin Slayer!
April Fools!
Sorry readers, after seeing that my release date was going to be on April First and just by chance it was when he was going to be entering inside the cave which by chance was taken over by goblins (Very serious coincidental), I just couldn’t miss the opportunity but I didn’t want to trick you guys too long so I kept it short and sweet. I wonder if anyone was able to make a guess it was a joke just by the chapter lol… anyways hope you all are staying safe during these times, Happy April Fools! and normal chapter will be up at normal time.
I would like to mention that if I get 20 followers on this book, I’ll increase it to two chapters a week!

Amethyst Phoenix
A sweet nectar drips before me. All other sources of sustenance have dried up. I’m afraid to drink it because I’ve seen the consequences of even a drop too much. Sometimes my voice dies in my throat, buries itself beneath waves of crippling suffocation, burns itself out as cold hands tear at my laced skin. I have smiled while my eyes have cried and pleaded, my wrists numb, my lips wobbling and blue, and stars escaping this dark night that I'm trapped in. I long for a darkness that gives way to light. But I do feel the warmth of petals gathering and scattering in my cold bones, and imagine the touch and the sweetness of a kiss, and my heart rises to the surface of this sea and finds a sky painted by passing artists remaining far above our heads. I'm breathing out all the words I've kept locked under the pages of my breaking mind. And by doing so, I'm going to heal.TRIGGER WARNINGS: depression, anxiety, self harm, suicidal thoughts, OCD, panic attacks
