《The tale of an undead armor (rewrite)》Ch 3 meeting the goblin elder

something with a lot of mana is approaching me right now. I can feel the massive amount of mana that it is emitting from the base of the mountain. It is like looking right into the sun, just way more intense. I can't make out the figure behind the source of mana. (come on I can only see his mana and this is the first time I had such a type of sense. It is not something I can get used to quickly. )
I am not particularly worried about this fact, because of a single reason. I have been summoned here by somebody and I have a feeling that this should be the person in front of me. There is no other reason that a being like that is coming up here.
(After about five minutes)
Finally, the enemy appears in front of me. It is a small goblin, almost half of my height. With this figure, I am sure that we are dealing with goblins here. Only goblins can have such powerful mages. Imps tend to go the physical route.
I Think the mage points at me(i can't tell properly with the amount of mana that he is emitting) and suddenly I can hear a voice in my head.
Enemy mage- state your name and origin, otherworlder. From what world do you originate. You are not a devil, so that is a good thing.
Me- you can call me entim and as for where I from. You won't know the origin of my lands and I am not allowed to reveal my land of origin. I am not from any of the planes of hell and I am certainly more trustworthy than them.
Enemy mage- well, then I am certain that you know about rejection and contracts. I can force you out of this world with a single word since I am the one that summoned you here. Therefore, let me first Lay down three main tasks for you. First, you must listen to the command of me and my people. Second, you have to protect me and third, you will need to strengthen your present body as much as possible.
Me- well, if there is a contract then I have no problem. What should I be calling you by the way?
Enemy mage- my name would be elder bone. Well, shall we get on with the contract?
Me - certainly.
Elder bone- well, then let me get into you, then we can form a contract.
Me - what did you say?
What, better to show surprise than to do something I don't want to.
Elder bone - you are an Armor, how else will you protect me.
For some reason, I have a feeling as if the goblin is smirking, though it is pretty hard to tell.
It is a weird thought to think that somebody would be residing inside my body, but I don't feel too uncomfortable with that thought. Maybe, my instincts as armor are being woken up. Once you have been in multiple bodies like me, you begin to understand what instincts come from the body and what comes from me.

Me- that is true. Well, continue.
Elder bone- I will wear you until my death as for the matter of your remuneration, I think every soul that you have killed should be enough.
Me - I shall agree to your contract but I have a few modifications that I would like to make. Do you happen to know any of the local contract gods? I am an outsider in these parts.
Elder bone- you are not trying to bargain. I would have expected you to refuse my contract outright.
Me- firstly, I am not an arrogant man and I am not a tricky devil to bargain with you. I just need a simple give-and-take contract where neither tries to screw the other. Anyway, you hold my life in your hands. What is the point of trying to resist? anyway, you seem to be a reasonable goblin. If you don't want me to stab you in the back then you will listen to me. Even the strictest of contracts have loopholes.
Elder bone - fine then. Please don't use any kind of recording magic on my chants. I will have to destroy your soul if that is the case and please do not mention details of this ritual to others.
Me- fine then.
The contract gods are a bunch of neutral gods that hold the ability to act as witnesses to deals like this. If any side tries to break such a contract these gods hold the ability to claim the souls of the offenders.
That also means that there is a lot of competition in these positions. That is why the chant of a contract god tends to be relatively hidden. After all, if the chant were to be found by the enemy's clergy, well that god would have a major headache to deal with.
That is why there are such heavy costs to deal with anyone leaking the chant.
(After about half an hour)
Finally, we have completed our deal, I must say that this mage is experienced in making contracts. These kinds of enemies are the most annoying to deal with. Well, he did dare to summon a devil so I must not expect him to be an idiot.
I stand in front of that mage finally pondering the question as to how exactly is he planning to wear me. Will he be wearing me like normal armor, breaking me into pieces, and then wearing me? Thankfully nothing like that happen. The mage just touches me as he enters me as if he were a ghost that is possessing me.
Elder bone - what are you doing, how long are you going to be wasting your time here, get down to the village immediately.
His voice resounded throughout my body as if somebody had magnified the elder's voice by a lot. It is a very weird feeling, especially since my sense of hearing is like an extension of the sense of touch.
Me- yes, elder bone.
Saying this I make my way down the mountain. Honestly, this result leaves me very annoyed. I was expecting an attack, not being worn like this. Fighting is simple, politics is not. Though thankfully, fighting right now would be dumb.

How the hell is that goblin fitting in my body. With his size, I should at the very least feel some kind of touch right. Maybe it is better that I am not feeling him, or I would be creeped out.
As I make my way down, I can see that the number of trees in my surroundings has increased by a great deal. I can even detect a few animals here and there, though most of them retreat before I even get the chance to even see them properly.
Finally, I come across proof of civilization. It is a wall made up by raising the earth from below. The wall is roughly about my height and I think that if I were to use the great sword, it could take me at least a couple of hits to fully destroy and the wall has a group of patrols. I would be destroyed before I even got near.
Well, the goblins have already begun to point their magic at me, clearly seeing me as a monster.
Suddenly a voice begins to come from inside me as I lose control of my motion.
Elder bone- where do you think you idiots are aiming at. Do you want to kill your elder? Stand down.
the elder suddenly jumps up easily landing on the wall. He has a surprisingly strong control of my body.
Elder bone- you idiots, you are going to be the one calling the goblin mage. Make her come here instantly.
The elder suddenly sits down on the wall, waiting for this goblin mage to come to him.
Me- how many titled ones does your tribe have.
Elder bone- we have seven, but only four of them are combat-related.
Me- that Is not very good, is it?
Elder bone- no actually, we are one of the strongest goblin forces that exist in this continent. Now that I think about it, we might just be the very last goblins that are existing on this continent. Tell me this have you worked with my kind before.
Me- yes, many times. I don't like to work with goblins. Your kind tends to be either too smart or too dumb, neither the kind that is easy to lead.
Elder bone- so under which one do I come in.
Me- naturally the smarter one. You have been playing me like a puppet since the very beginning.
Elder bone- you are calm for someone being played like a puppet.
Me- being a puppet has its uses and someone like me has seen too many smart people. Anyway, I have seen the contract and it is legit so I have nothing to worry about. You don't seem like a Cheater to me anyway.
Elder bone- there comes the mage. Don't try to interrupt me.
The elder again takes over my body, turning my head towards a massive source of mana.
Honestly speaking its mana is way greater than the one inside the elder. I can't even make out any details of its body. After a few seconds, I can finally make a vague shape though.
Elder bone- this is the cause of the death of the nameless ones in the mountain, mage. You don't need to worry about the mountain being a danger zone.
Goblin mage- this is the spiritual armor. You said that the armor would be nearly impossible to use or even power up. It would be like moving two bodies at the same time even if you managed to power it up.
Elder bone- young one, I have my bag of tricks, that you elemental mages don't understand. The working of the armor is handled by a spirit that I have transferred to the armor. It handles all the harder parts of the armor leaving me with the ability to use the armor quite easily when I need to and I have told you, this is not spiritual armor.
Goblin mage- isn't that a dangerous idea, elder. The spirit holds the ability to destroy your body with a single move.
Elder bone- I am not an idiot young lady, the spirit is under my absolute control. Anyway, shall we get work now? I need you to summon the council right. I going to be needing their expert opinion soon enough. Call the goblin knight. Let's see where he will be using me.
Goblin mage- are you sure that you want to join the battlefield right now, elder. If you were to fall, the entirety of the tribe will fall. What can you even do on the battlefield?
Me - are you asking a necromancer what he can do on the battlefield, young lady. There are limits to foolishness and you are even supposed to be a mage.
Suddenly I find myself unable to speak. That elder is stronger than I anticipated. Though, I do understand the reason that he made me shut up.
I know that I fucked up. She instantly entered into a focused state, ready to fight.
Elder bone - there is no need for you to be so scared. It is just the armors spirit. He won't harm any of you. If he does, he will die before he can even complete the thought.
The elder continues to convince the goblin, trying to get her to not kill me. He had to almost spend ten minutes to get her to not destroy me on the spot.
During that time, a goblin appears most likely the goblin knight. He calmly waits for the consoling session to be completed. Even from here, I can see that while he does not seem particularly strong, I can tell that he holds a great deal of power.
A body cultivator in the goblins. That is a pretty rare thing to see. As I have said, the goblins are more inclined towards a magical style of evolution.
Mage, great mage, Archmage, these are all levels that can be achieved by goblins. I am pretty sure that one inside me right now is a great mage at the very least.
