《One can only laugh in the face of destiny》3 - The God of Destiny

Everyone took a step back unconsciously. All was quiet, everyone was thinking Quin was always annoying but holy shit he just had his head blown off like it was nothing, just like a freaking soap bubble pop and it was gone just with much more blood and brains.
The few people that were by Quin, originally were smiling expecting him to kill the Donkey and they all go back to the pub now were all horrified. Each of these poor bastards had brown robes no doubt trying to match Quin, now these robes had bits of brain matter and blood covering them making them a mix of brown, red, pink goop with strong burned hair and iron mixed smell. They were too horrified to do anything at first only when they realized some of it flew in their mouth could they do anything. These unfortunate people began to immediately vomit their stomach contents onto the ground splashing up hitting the robes they were so proud of. The stench of blood, wine, pork permeated out. The sounds of chunks and water splattering all on the ground was all you could hear.
Snapped out of his own shock by the sound of vomit hitting the ground, Frank forcefully took a small step forward slightly in front of the King and raised his sword in front of himself ready for whatever was about to happen.
Clive glanced at his now dead attacker. Then to his back legs. Then the attacker then his legs.
“Did I do that?! Holy hell his head is just gone? What happened to me when I was struck by that lightning?! Oh god there's bits of it in my hoof” Clive thought to himself as he started to stomp his front leg down to get the pieces out of his hoof.
The people covered in armor throughout the group were all snapped out of their shock by Frank stepping forward and unsheathed their own swords as Clive stomped his foot.
“Oh no fuck dont attack me! I didn’t mean to kill him! I only wanted to get away from him!” Thought Clive rushing to the center of the circle as the Guards moved to surround him.

At this moment, Dave the Priest started twitching as he was bathed in a light from somewhere unknown that caused him to glow almost from within, this time it was much brighter and everyone including Clive looked towards him this time no one knowing what to expect after what just occurred.
While Dave started twitching and making weird noises the same light started to glow onto Clive, people looking back and forth between the two not knowing who to pay attention to the one twitching and who started this whole ritual thing or the crazy donkey who just killed one of their own with a kick.
Clive then heard a voice in his head.
“I am the God of Destiny young Clive you have been summoned here to be the Hero of these People and of this World please refrain from killing them.”
Clive, shocked at the sudden intrusion into his mind, spoke in his mind toward the voice, “God of Destiny? Hero? Who are you and what do you mean hero I am just a donkey just let me leave so I can go eat my snacks! I want nothing to do with this place or these people.”
“I am the THE GOD OF DESTINY I look after the destiny of every living being and unfortunately for you Clive your destiny is being a Hero”
Clive resolutely replied, “No thanks I don’t really want to be a hero just get me out of here”
“I don’t think you understand Clive it is your Destiny you can not say no.”
Clivewho was starting to get annoyed said towards the voice, “Haha no”
“...... What do you mean no. This is not some request, it is preordained for you to be the hero.”
“I am saying no I won’t do it, destiny isn’t real and if it is I AM A DONKEY let me just eat my snacks and bath in the sun, it's much better than dealing with humans and all this hero business besides eating and being outside IS the destiny of donkeys!”
“Clive YOUR destiny is to help these people fight against the demon hordes if not they and you shall all perish suffering a fate worse than any you can imagine”

“What do you mean perish? You're saying I will die if I do not help them?” Clive worryingly asked
“That's exactly what I am saying young Donkey Clive, you are the destined hero, the one meant to rid this world of the evil demons and save the remaining races of this land.”
“Wait, why did you not just pick Tim he always wanted to be a hero? I just want to live my life eating my snacks in peace!”
“Tim… his…. His uh destiny was great but it was not the hero of this worlds young Clive you must accept that this is your role”
“How the fuck am I supposed to be a hero I have no hands, I can not hold a sword like Tim, I can not fight like other animals even cats have claws!!”
“That is actually why I chose to speak to you Clive normally once a hero is chosen they accept right away and go forth, this being a…. Well a rather UNIQUE case and you kicking the head of someone within 3 minutes of being summoned caught my attention. So I felt a little intervention might be in order before everyone here died in a misunderstanding. So for starters Clive you have been given several gifts, many of which you will have to grow into but the most obvious is you are now more intelligent. No doubt you have noticed the change in your mind and the freedom at which you are allowed to express your thoughts no? This may take a while for your personality to cement itself as you seem to be adjusting still. This is one of the gifts, another you have so blatantly used against the now departed Quin is immenses strength. These along with other gifts should help you in the trials of destiny ahead.”
“Wait wait wait, I am thankful for these so-called gifts but how the hell can I do anything without hands? And you said Demons if I remember Tims grandfather told stories of demons being abominations that tortured and killed any and everything with fire, blade, sorcery. How the hell do I do anything to them especially alone?! … hahaha you know what no I won't do it. Not if I have to suffer alone we can all just fucking die.”
“This is not a negotiation” Clive felt pressure from everywhere all of a sudden, his soul was being crushed he fell down in the summoning spire. Everyone in the Spire felt the change in pressure from beyond their own understanding press down on Clive so much that several of the group were forced to their own knees.
Clive felt the immense pain of having a God play with his mind and soul as the God of Destiny was pressuring the stubborn Clive into accepting his destiny.
Finally relenting as he felt he would most certainly die never accomplishing anything more than listening to a young boy yell shitty sword attack names, “Fine I will do it just don’t kill me please… just I will need help I can not do this alone I am only a Donkey! Demons have too many advantages. These people can not even understand what I say! They are even getting ready to kill me”
The pressure suddenly disappeared from everyone.
The God of Destiny spoke toward Clive once more.
“Lucky for you Clive there are 8 entire races of beings on this forsaken planet whose destiny is tied to yours now. These races will have to help you or they will die for Destiny Commands it MUHAHAHA”
Clive was flabbergasted to say the least.. “I get summoned here and now I have to go fight demons… HAHAHHAHAHAHA fuck destiny…. I really want a snack….” Thought Clive as a feeling of Depression stretched out around him.
On the raised stone platform Frank was having his own very unhappy talk with the God of Destiny. It was not going very well...for Frank that is.

Papercuts to Fell Immortals
Qing Shen is a girl from the counrtyside, forced into a role she never wanted by a Young Master who's infamy is spread throughout the land. As a Cultivator in the path to immortality, Qing Shen has to deal with her own problems as well as the mysteries surrounding her Young Master. Things, however, are not as they seem, and the young girl finds that sometimes the truth is more unbelievable than the lies we often follow. . . . If you want a less hidden-meaning summary: This story is about the struggles of one girl as she tries to become an Immortal. There won't be any meaningful romance, but there will be a plot that spans most of the story, and violence. Oh the violence! I'm not going to say that my ideas are 100% original (because hoo boy are there a lot of Wuxia), but hopefully I can write something entertaining. Guaranteed things: 1. Cliche events with a twist (I mean, it's literally in the description) 2. Important Characters will have backstories and motivations that will hopefully make them not one-dimensional (honestly, that's just normal stuff...) 3. Untrustworthy characters (everyone in the story lies, even me, so don't trust everything you read... but at the same time, trust everything you read) 4. Goodish grammar (not gonna say mine's the best, but it's readable in most cases) 5. Plot! (Everywhere!) 6. worldbuilding? (Should be there somewhere, but I probably won't do blatant info dumps... probably) 7. Character development? (Its there... at some point...) 8. The story gets dark at some points (if you don't like characters dying, then this might not be your cup of tea) 9. A strong main character? (She'll be strong, yes. However, her enemies are also strong. If everyone is strong, then is she no longer strong? My brain hurts) 10. Wow, this list is going on for awhile... uh, Believable and reasonable Action? (I mean, I'm writing for mainly my fun, so if I want a fight scene, then I might craft a scenario to explain it... or I might suddenly throw in a Dragon and call it a day) This story also goes by the same name over on Webnovel.com, but I'm going to be updating it here because, well I want to. They are both by me, and created by me. If there's anything that seems like a copy of another work, then that's just the genre being saturated by everything under the sun.
