Morning came and they summoned Physician Wan to Wan Qingqing’s quarter for evaluation after taking the medication. While he was gone, Mo Qingfeng follow the map Wan Qinxiu gave him to Mu Yuhan’s tower. As expected, only a few fries was there and he easily knocked them out one by one. He got to the second floor and open the door and went inside and found Wang Xiaomi up already. She saw him and cried upon seeing him. She quickly warn them of the situation, but Mo Qingfeng shook, “According to Brother Wan, he will be fine he will be right behind us. We have to leave now or else it will be too late. I cannot disappoint Brother Wan.” Then he created a teleportation array that Wan Qinxiu taught him and they escaped.

Wan Qinxiu got to Wan Qingqing’s quarter and upon arrival, he was the only one there. He was told by a maidservant to wait for the Empress as she is on the way there. He comply to the orders and waited but something suddenly struck his mind, how can there be no one here? Let alone a maidservant no one is in sight! Then he approach the bed and found the patient was topless then he finally realize he is about to get frame. Good thing he checked first. He wants to open the door, but the door was locked from outside. As expected, it was a plot to ruin his reputation. Want to frame me? Not that easy…

“Mother Empress! Physician Wan is there for a long time already!” Mu Yuhan said loudly as they all made their way to Wan Qingqing’s yard. The maid then went to open the door and led them inside, but to her surprise no one was inside. “Where is he?” The maid look around.

The Empress looks around and went to sit, “Son, I don’t see Physician Wan anywhere are you sure he is here? Someone… summon Physician Wan at once!” She commanded. A servant head out the door obeying to the order.

Suddenly, they heard a noise at the bed. The Empress was shock and suddenly stood up asking, “Whose there?!” Mu Yuhan quickly rushes to the bed and shouted, “You insolent fool!” He tear the blind open and found Wan Qingqing was naked with a man whose also half naked. “Man! Tie him up!” Mu Yuhan yell out loud. They tied up the man. The Empress looks at Wan Qingqing in disdain. She was tainted how could she have an affair with a servant and how long have she been doing this for? She started to suspect Wan Qingqing’s loyalty. She did not cry or worry for Wan Qingqing.

Wan Qingqing suddenly came to and ask, “Where am… I?” Then she looks around and found a man half naked all tied up. “Who is he?” Then she saw the Empress and suddenly gets up to bow in respect but quickly came to found out that she was naked, “Wh-what?! What happen?!” She screams and started crying. Her innocence was taken.

Wan Qinxiu walk into the room and heard the scream. He looks at the Empress and then at Mu Yuhan. Mu Yuhan’s face does not look good. To Mu Yuhan’s surprised Wan Qinxiu was whole intact and not tainted one bit. Wan Qinxiu half smile and greeted, “Greetings to you your highness, may I feel the pulse of my patient? I see she is up but what is up with the ruckus?” He turn to Wan Qingqing whose currently weeping. The Empress shook her head, “The patient is alive and well no need to keep you here further you may leave! I will not send you out my son will send you off!” With that, the Empress left not with another word.

“Aunt…” Wan Qingqing mutters but the Empress did not even give her another look. She feel so dejected and embarrassed. At that moment she wanted to do to reclaim her innocence. All the maids started muttering how shameless she was for having the Empress worried for her while she was having fun. She started crying uncontrollably. Everyone was dismissed to leave her alone. The man was taken out of the room to get tortured but not to kill as he must marry Wan Qingqing regardless.

“Your highness… can I work here in the garden for a few days in return for a batch of herbs?” Wan Qinxiu asks looking at the herbs, “I’m short on herbs and would like some.”

Mu Yuhan looks at him and said, “You can… but not in the garden.”

“Then where?”

“Serve me and do everything I ask then you can,” Mu Yuhan replied. ‘Hmph, let’s see if you agree to my term.’

“Okay but I am only here for 3 days so it wouldn’t hurt,” said Wan Qinxiu, “Thank you your highness where shall I start?” He asks.

That whole morning to afternoon, he was being told to do dishes, washing clothes, clean the yard, clean the dust of his towers according to the instructions and command of Prince Mu Yuhan. While he was working, Hei Bai have reported to Mu Yuhan that Wang Xiaomi is gone along with Wan Qinxiu’s assistant. They are no longer insight. That was when he realized he was tricked and now Wang Xiaomi and his assistant have escaped. He made Wan Qinxiu work even harder even cutting all his trees, cut the woods, cut the grass, repaint his house to make it look new, during that time, no servants and maids are allow in to work. All the house chores was left to Wan Qinxiu whom did not complaint one bit. Mu Yuhan thought it should be hard for a man to do all these but to his surprised, Wan QInxiu is quite a persistent one and was able to do all of the chores and not complaint one bit. Every time he sees Wan Qinxiu, he was always given a half smile.

Nightfall came. Wan Qinxiu did not go anywhere he went back to the tree and slept up there. Mu Yuhan was reported of this so he headed back to the tree once more and watch Wan Qinxiu sleep silently in the dark.

The second day, he was summoned very early to make breakfast for Prince Mu Yuhan. He made breakfast and was instructed to go into his chamber to personally hand it over to him. He went into his chamber and set it on the table when realizing Prince Mu Yuhan was still sleeping soundly asleep. He sets the plate down and head out to do his chores. Since the Demon Prince is still sleeping he decided to go tend to the herb field but he lets Hei Bai know about it. He instructed Hei Bai to grab him when the sleeping beauty wakes up.

For half the day he tends to the field then he thought of a farewell gift and started working on the farewell gift. At night, when the prince woke up, Hei Bai report everything to him. He set off to the garden and found that his garden seem to be more livelier than before. He found Wan Qinxiu sleeping on the tree again. ‘Why isn’t he using the bed? That place is where my Xiaolian always sleep…’ He watches Wan Qinxiu slept the whole night away before retiring to his chamber.

The last day came. The verdict finally announced Wan Qingqing’s wedding to the manservant, but her death quickly made the news as she hung herself not wanting to get marry. That is also good too because of that girl, she always wanted to harm Wang Xiaolian, thought Mu Yuhan. He got up on that late afternoon and gave permission for Wan Qinxiu to take the herbs he wanted as a reward and as promised. He wants to thank him for helped getting rid of his future trouble with Wan Qingqing.

He did not tail Wan Qinxiu that afternoon and instead he started planning. Hei Bai reported, “Prince… I’ve sent Physician Wan out already. He gave me a gift to pass it over.” He said as he take out a box handing it over to him.

“Throw it away,” commanded Mu Yuhan, “You know, I do not wear specific clothing.”

Hei Bai nods, “Prince if you don’t mind…” He asks, “May I have it?”

Mu Yuhan stops what he is doing and looks over to Hei Bai and snatch the box away and open the box and looks at the red robe and noticed it’s exactly the style he liked and replied, “In fact, I shall keep it so you cannot have it.” He take the box away and said, “You are dismissed!” Hei Bai was dumbfounded and obey the order. He felt like he was being wronged.

After he left, Mu Yuhan tried to go back into planning his next step, but he couldn’t take his eyes off of the box and so he decided to try on the outfit. He tried on the red robe and found it exactly the style to his liking just that it is in red. He was surprised that not many knew his kind of style or what kind of style he liked. How can a mere physician know what he liked? Interesting… The more I know this Physician the more I want to know more about him… wait… why am I thinking about him? Something’s not right.
