Slowly landing in front of the sect masters and Wan Qinxiu was Mu Yuhan in black robes with the handsome face but deadly aura. His handsome face made many women flushed in red not being able to take their eyes off of him. Wang Xiaomi looks at the black figure and saw Mu Yuhan. She quickly hid her face behind Lan Shuixin, "Prince, it's Mu Yuhan," she whispers in his ears. She shyed away afraid he might be here to kidnap her.

While he had everyone's attention, Physician Wan quickly head to Lan Shuixin and Wang Xiaomi and casted a barrier spell. He said to them, "Do not step out of here, I will protect you." He turn his back to them and face Mu Yuhan silently not uttering a word to him. Mu Yuhan look pass the sect leaders and lock his eyes on Physician Wan. He smirks and slowly walk toward Wan Qinxiu, "So... you are the one they called... Physician Wan," he observe him carefully. His dark and imposing aura was quite hard for the sect leaders to suppress, but to his surprise, Physician Wan had no problem suppressing his powerful aura. "Oh? You can overcome such demonic aura? Interesting..." He said as he continues to walk over to Wan Qinxiu. He stops three feet away from him and turn to Wang Xiaomi, "Xiaolian, come with me..." He raise out his hand to Wang Xiaomi. Wang Xiaomi repeatedly shook her head no not wanting to look at him one bit.

Physician Wan block his view of Wang Xiaomi, "She will not go with you," he said calmly and look into his eyes, "I will have to disappoint you today." Mu Yuhan retrieve his hand and chuckles coldly, "So would you like to try me? Do you think all the sect leaders with you can stop me? Lan Shuixin is already in this state, no one can stop me." He didn't even want to look at Lan Shuixin it is as if he have one look of Lan Shuixin, it will lower his standard by a level.

Physician Wan shook his head, "No... Me alone should be just enough to stop you," he said it so confidently not flinching in coward. Mu Yuhan got angry and he attacks him with dark demonic powers, but in reflex, he casted a barrier to dispel the dark demonic powers. Mu Yuhan was caught by surprised and he move back a couple of paces. Physician Wan stood in front of Lan Shuixin and Wang Xiaomi looking at Mu Yuhan with an expressionless face. 'I cannot use dark powers...' He thought to himself and sigh.

Mu Yuhan looks at Wang Xiaomi and said calmly, "If you don't come with me, I will kill every one here until you agree to leave with me." That was definitely a threat to Wang Xiaomi. Lan Shuixin places his hand on top of Wang Xiaomi's hand and said positively and in a calm posture, "Ah Mi, do not worry, I will protect you. You don't have to listen to his threat. I have powers right now even though I can't see I can still fend him off." Mu Yuhan looks at that scene and blood started to boil up and attacks him again with his long sword, "Don't touch her!" His sword could not cut through the barrier Wan Qinxiu sets up. He was pushed back. Mu Yuhan was quite angry. He turn to Wan Qinxiu, "I will start with you!" He attack Wan Qinxiu.

Wan Qinxiu dash a few feet back to dodge his slice attack, "Lan Shuixin, take Miss Wang back I can take care of here! All sects retreat within and leave me out here." Upon hearing his command, there was no time for any other thoughts, they all listened and commend their disciples back and retreat away hundreds of miles. Fifth Prince did a quick cast to teleport them back home immediately. Wang Xiaomi got into the formation right away after third prince. Lan Shuixin did not go into the teleportation formation and wave his sleeve to finish the spell fifth prince casted and sent them away saying, "I will stay here. Protect Xiaomi." Wang Xiaomi was stunned seeing Lan Shuixin not going with them. It makes her feel miserably. She quickly make a decision and to threw herself out of the formation before they all vanish into the thin air.

Mu Yuhan started attacking Wan Qinxiu non-stopping and Wan Qinxiu has been avoiding his every move repeatedly, making no move to attack. He just watch Mu Yuhan attacking calmly. He realize Lan Shuixin and Wang Xiaomi were still there didn't leave and ask as he dodges Mu Yuhan's next thrust of sword, "Why didn't both of you leave?" Lan Shuixin replied calmly, "I cannot leave you here alone when you're here to help." Wang Xiaomi blushes and said, "You saved me, I can't just leave!"

Mu Yuhan realize Lan Shuixin and he retrieve his step and aim demonic powers of sword strides toward Lan Shuixin. Lan Shuixin hits the demonic strike away using his bare sleeve. Mu Yuhan was shock, "You're cured?!" He landed a few feet away from Lan Shuixin. Lan Shuixin sits comfortably and sip on his tea, "All thanks to Physician Wan." Mu Yuhan turn to Wan Qinxiu and realize it was him who cured Lan Shuixin he was quite shocked by the news. At this point, he may be at a disadvantage. He suddenly reminisce when Wang Xiaolian was still with him, she would always protect and fight for him and she always manage to kill whoever he sent to killed. His mind was thrown off for a second, his heart grew bitter and colder missing Xiaolian.

As if Wan Qinxiu can read through his mind, he smirk and reminded, "This is no time for reminiscing or you may just lose your head." That brought Mu Yuhan back to reality. He suddenly have the urge to know more about this Physician Wan. Seem like he read his mind just now that it’s rare it caught him by surprise. He flew high up into the air and uses qi to draw strong demonic powers of wind to draw Wang Xiaomi over to him by force high up into the sky. Lan Shuixin caught onto Wang Xiaomi's hand tightly. Now she is being tugged by two most handsome men in the world, any other women would be happy to death at that instant but not Xiaomi. She scream in agony and in pain as she is struggling.

Wan Qinxiu looks at the scene and rushes to them quickly and try to attack Mu Yuhan, but he happened to summon a huge beast to block his path completely. Wan Qinxiu finish the huge wolf beast in one blow but during that one blow, gave Mu Yuhan have the opportunity to snug Wang Xiaomi away after sending a few more demons to attack Lan Shuixin. He and Wang Xiaomi vanish into thin air as Xiaomi cries for help. Wan Qinxiu rushes to Lan Shuixin, as he rush to Lan Shuixin the demons summoned crawled back down to the ground as if they were dismissed and no longer needed to fend off the enemies. Lan Shuixin sigh in defeated, "At last... I'm still unable to save a very important person..."

Wan Qinxiu shook his head and saying to himself, 'I am sorry... I let him take her away on purpose...' He helped Lan Shuixin up and said, "It is not your fault. We were outnumbered. These beasts he summoned are one of his best beast warriors so it is understandable. I am sure Xiaomi will be fine." He tried to comfort Lan Shuixin.

Lan Shuixin ask him, "Can I take the 2nd dose? I am ready for the 2nd dose." He said it firmly. He wanted to better up his wellness to be able to fight off such monsters next time. It was a shamed to not able to protect someone of his level.

Wan Qinxiu handed him the 2nd pill and instructed him this time he have to take it while bathing. After taking the second dose, Lan Shuixin was near one-hundred percent recovery, but what he have not regain is his sight. He walks out of the bathtub half naked leaving his bare muscular chest. Wan Qinxiu walks in and saw him half naked and turn his head away throwing a new outfit to him saying, “Wear this outfit for now.”

“Did you went to town to buy me an outfit?” Lan Shuixin ask taking the clothes to behind the screen and started changing.

Wan Qinxiu walks out the door leaving him some privacy replying, “Doesn’t matter, when you’re done, come out I cooked us dinner.” With that, he closes the door shut.

After he change, he walk out the door and feel the wall using the wall as his support to find his way and direction back to the hall room in Wan Qinxiu’s home, but to his surprise, Wan Qinxiu’s voice can be heard from the square yard as his residence was pretty small. His residence is like a square the only yard he have is the middle while the walls and room formed a square around his square yard and in that yard has benches and table in the middle having a roof overhead like a pavilion, making it a good place to eat outdoor. It was already evening then that Lan Shuixin finished dressing. “Come in the middle is my courtyard with tables, I’ve set up food and drinks so we can eat and drink outdoor.”

As soon as he heard the voice of Wan Qinxiu, he flew toward his voice and landed beside him. Then he feels the bench and table and sat down. Wan Qinxiu realized he is almost completely heal. He is quite relieved to know his condition. “I see you’re almost completely healed.”

“It is all thanks to you Brother Wan,” Lan Shuixin cup his hand in respect and to thank him, “I would like to be brother with you.”

“I don’t need a brother,” Wan Qinxiu replied calmly, “I need a companion,” he said it so calm that does not seem to be a joke nor laughing matter, “Would you like… to be my companion?”

Hearing this took Lan Shuixin by surprised. How can it be? Seeing that Lan Shuixin hesitated, Wan Qinxiu said in a joking manner, “I was just joking with you Brother Lan. You will make a great brother! Let’s drink!” He fill in the cup with wine and handed Lan Shuixin a cup. Then they drink and eat the night away chatting endlessly and became closer than before.
