《History's Strongest Disciple Fanfiction》55 Climbing the Mountain

As the secrets were all in the open now, Niijima revealed that he has some sort of Backup CD and the old man told us to help carry it up some mountain. I didn't even care anymore what was on the CD I just froze time and transported it there.
-Here I've transported it for you, are we finished now?(Yashin)
-You're ruining our adventure, bring back the disk this instance!(Kisara)
When I don't help it's my fault, when I help it's also my fault.
Unlike how I expected it to work, the senile old man still asked our help in transporting him up the mountain, I wanted to do it fast, but Kisara glared at me as if I was trying to ruin their fun.
At first I doubted them, but it was a strange experience, although these weird warrior priests carrying vajras as weapons were annoying. We got to meet Rimi, some sort of Goth Loli, that was faster than Violent Miu.
The thing is that she seems to have similar talent to my own, where does Master Ogata find people with dual Ki, they are so rare, but he seems to just stumble upon them by sheer luck.
For some reason she thinks that we have the CD, I'm sure I left in in the mountain villa, I think on top of the TV, next to some other CDs.
Oh my God, I'm an idiot, at the time it seemed like the place to put it, but now that I think about it it's like hiding a tree in a forest.
No doubt why they didn't believe it was there already, for some reason, however Niijima had a dummy CD, he said it's just in case that something happened to the original.
After a rigorous fight and the melody of friendship, we discovered that Niijima had the info in a USB stick all this time, both CDs were dummies, something about not trusting me, he said.

A pity that even after all his the USB stick was still destroyed as the captured ally of the senile old man turned out to be a spy of Yami.
After Sakaki revealed himself and beat him up Niijima said the most stupid thing I've ever heard, he thinks that uploading data on the Internet means he can download it as many times as he likes, how stupid can one get.
The moment he uploaded that info, Yami would no doubt have a way to access it and erase it, does he believe he's some sort of super hacker or something?
Next day I learned that Yami was even more incompetent than I believed, all they had to do is access four devices, the devices Niijima uses, but they failed tragicaly.
They were so incompetent that they couldn't even bail out their own people out of regular jail. So what if the person was taking bribes, so what if he attempt to commit murder, just put someone else in jail and say it's him.
Of course you can't blame Yami for this, all politicians jump ship faster than the storm can arrive, otherwise they wouldn't be in that field of work.
A week later all charges against Ryozanpaku were dropped, don't ask me why, they never explained the reason, also I'm now part of Yomi, under Demon God Fist. He's an interesting guy, after I moped the floor with him, he begun calling me a God and wants to serve me.
I have nothing against people worshipping me, but I was shocked, because this person was a coultivator already, problem was that someone had crippled his coultivation, leaving him only with a broken spirit and mind, unable to ever achieve immortal ascension, at least not without the help of coultivation resources, which probably didn't even exist on earth.
I think the elder could probably heal him, but I'm unable to do so, all I can do is use different amounts of spiritual pressure for him to study.

To explain in simple terms the Ki used by martial artists isn't the same as the one used by coultivators, the Ki used by martial artists is the natural Ki existing all around us, all they can do is manipulate it, what coultivators do is use their Vital Ki to attack, meaning they use their own life force to launch attacks, the difference is that Ki used by martial artists can be simply absorbed by a coultivator, like a snack, as if your enemy is throwing burgers at you. At most you might die of cholysterol, but it's nor painful nor effective.
Don't misunderstand, martial artists can use their own vital Ki as well, but they cannot replenish it, coultivators are able to do so, thus their attacks involve this type of Ki, which if anyone tries to absorb, might cause him to choke, it's like throwing bones at your enemy or dirt, it won't hurt him much, unless used right, but he cannot eat it without suffering a stomach ache.
Demon God Fist, Silkwat is special in this matter, because he has a large deposit of Ki, problem is that he has no way of replenishing it, because someone called Hayato had destroyed his coultivation.
Again, who is this Hayato, they're talking about, must be someone really strong, maybe even stronger than the Old Goat of an Elder, to defeat a coultivator, even if he's only at the early foundation realm, that sounds insane.
In his words he found Buddha's coultivation method as he travelled the world with Hayato and Mikumo, I looked around the place he told me and there really were letters left with divine will, problem was that I didn't understand shit what it meant, I don't know Hindi.
I spent some time to copy the text and then asked him to translate them for me. He said that my letters look like chicken scratch, but he was amazed at how much more the texts contained, when he entered the texts came to him as an enlightment as if an illusion, but now seeing them in front of him, on a piece of paper he felt a little disillusioned.
Non the less he translated everything for me, although I couldn't use the coultivation method, I could still use some of the skills contained within, they were techniques that used "Will" to "brainwash" people, well not literaly, but sort of, in a hypnotic type of way. Other techniques were more bizzare and miraculous in nature. One could hide one's presense, another could repel fires, there was also one used for healing, in other words it was a treasure trove for me whom only had cultivation methods but lacked techniques.
Although most of the techniques were kind of low level, since I was already at Dao seeking, there were still two that were too high level for me and two that were impossible because I don't use the same cultivation method.
But I can still sort of understand the principle behind these techniques, the next step is Healing Demon God Fist's cultivation with the help of these methods.
I only hope what I'm doing won't come to bite me in the ass later, but having a subordinate cultivator is something important, chances are that he will need at least 100years until he can reach my level, by that time Super Milf might have also become a cultivator and many others, although in the future that didn't happen, can't really tell why, probably didn't get the enlightment needed or something along those lines. For the time being Demon God Fist will be my first follower.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)
