《History's Strongest Disciple Fanfiction》17 Duel Under the Rainy Sky
Advertisement
The Camera shot at the setting sun, causing the clouds to look even darkers and more menacing than before, Two figures were standing facing one another, one of a giant wearing a set of armor and a Tengu mask, the other wearing a dark coloured ninja outfit with only a golden Hannya mask crearly visible due to the darkness and lights.
One looking like an impossing Warrior of a hundred battles, the other like a dwarf leaning forwards to look even smaller, two blades reflecting the lights in his hands, making him seem like a kamikaze assassin that wants to slay a giant.
The Giant put one hand behind his back and extended the other, making the famous bruce lee pose, goating the little man to attack.
One could only be amazed as even the red tengu mask with the white beard could not hide his heroic demeanor.
The assassin was neither fast nor slow, he trecked towards him, at a speed that any person could attain, the blades danced as the elder just blocked, the speed rising with every passing second, to the onlookers it looked as if a hurricane was about to form, until the assassin decided to disengage.
The Tengu rolled its head in confusion, not understanding why the other gave up so fast, only to begin catching flying needles from the air one by one and with single flick of a hand returning them all back to their owner.
Whom did the exact same with his teeth, while still holding the the blades in his arm, which caused his head to turn from the force of the needles.
The assassin looked at the sky, the scary Hannya mask looked as if it was crying, but just as suddenly the head turned down and a hiddeous smile took form. The blades from its arms had disappeared and the assassin was once more rushing towards the giant, this time the exchange was different, every punch the assassin threw was blocked with a single palm, every kick with a rise of the giant's foot, but the speed was constant, the giant jumped away as the assassin had tried to suddenly stab his knee with a blade that had just appeared in his hand.
The Tengu mask seemed angry, its golden beard being brushed by the wind, every step it took forward looked menacing, but the Hannya mask was still smiling.

The giant suddenly begun to shake its legs and small caltrops begun to fall from them, there was no hint of blood on them, but they were deformed, as if they were run over by a steam roller.
Suddenly the one Tengu turned into two and then three, the Hannya did the same, but there were nine instead. A terrifying laughter echoed into everyone's ears as the Tengu laughed, the wind around it distorting, pushing the assassin back and the bushins disappeared.
Everything suddenly went silent, the rain started to fall harder and harder, the people spectating had various emotions written on their faces, some surprise, some disbelief, some that of boredom.
The first Thunderbolt signaled the first clash in the air, the cameras couldn't catch even anything other than the two combatants flying back from the impact, the Hannya fell really hard bouncing on the ground like a ragdoll, losing one of its horns. The Tengu just landed on its feet as if it was as waitless as a feather, its nose high as if showing its pride.
All eyes were now glued on the Hannya, which logically should have been dead from the fall, since all its limbs were facing the wrong direction, a lightning flashed as the creature begun to rise like a puppet, its limbs slowly taking their proper place, its smile never leaving its face.
The Tengu's nose begun to face down, as if it looked at an ant from far above, it begun to walk, but each step was like two or three human steps, as if it teleported closer and closer to the assassin.
The small assassin didn't move at all, it looked at the incoming giant standing completely still one hand in front of its face dividing it in two with its fingers as if trying to cast some sort of ninjutsu from some anime or something.
The giant's punched out and only dust was visible from the impact, but the assassin hadn't disappeared, like a slivering snake, he had crawled to the Tengu's back, by climbing on its broad arm, its limbs locking all of the tengu's limbs in place. The Tengu's Cry resounded, and the Hannya dropped as if dead from its back, one could only imagine the loudness of that cry.
The Tengu turned to look at the Assassin that lay behind it, it then proceeded to walk away, not noticing how the assassin had begun to stand up once again, not suspecting that he was still concious or even alive.

The crowd watching begun to cry out for the Tengu to watch out, forgetting about sides and allies. This time what resounded was a Howl, it sounded like that of a monster from legends, an inhuman scream that would irritate even the most patient of people.
Two invisible flames of Qi could be felt from the Hannya's hands as Sei and Dou Roared as One, the Hannya disappeared, only its golden mask could be seen around the Tengu, there was no body to be seen, the camera was recording this live.
The Tengu did its best to protect its vitals as small cuts were done to its clothes penetrating its skin, tearing its mask away with each passing second. The Elder was bleeding, his eyes however begun to shine with light as his fighting spirit was ignited, hundreds of fists flew all around blocking even the falling rain, the masks however didn't disappear, for each he crushed another one took its place.
The elder's wounds only became worse with this action, but as time passed, the masked assassin seemed unable to keep up, the onlookers were excited, for the end of this duel was approaching. The moment the last mask disappears this duel will end and that time has finaly arrived. The last mask fell from the sky and everyone begun to celebrate, only to see the elder fall with two blades on his back, and the face of a young man with tears of blood dripping from every orifice in his face, eyes, nose, mouth, ears. The most terrifying matter however was that he was still smiling and walking somewhere, his eyes having long lost focus, he was walking towards the audience, towards a shocked girl with red hair whom was dripping wet from the rain, she was holding a camera, trying to help her father start an honest life.
The youth fell a step short of her, head first into the ground, he had lost conciousness. The camera stopped rolling as the audience begun to rush to the rescue of the two combatants.
Nobody cared whom had won, because everybody lost something in this duel, the elder's unbreakable record had been broken, as he fainted first. The youth however was in an even worse situation, it was dying, its flame of life was about to be extinguished, its soul was about to leave its body. The girl whom was holding him in her arms was crying for help, an old man whom could only be Master Kensei of Ryozanpaku took his pulse, he then begun to use his needle to extend his life, enough so that he could threat him properly.
The Ragnarok members were shocked at what they had just seen, this was a battle on another level of power, a battle of super humans.
"That Rascal used Poison! look through his belongins he might have the antidote!"
Suddenly Master Akisame shouted from the elder's side.
Master Kensei begun to look and found a small bottle, with a description on its, writting Antidote, was it a trap or not, the master oppened the cork and took a smell before throwing the bottle to Akisame, whom did the same and then administered the liquid to the unconcious elder.
-What about Yashin!(Kisara)
-His life as a martial artist is over, but he will live(Kensei)
-Father we should take them both to a hospital!(Kisara)
-It's useless, there's nothing they can do for the likes of these two, what you should do is take him home and let him have a long rest(Kensei)
The elder was fine after a good night's nap, but Yashin didn't wake up after the duel, the doctors registered him as dead, but Kisara refused to let them burry him. Even after days however his body hadn't gone bad, only Shigure came to see him and that was just to reclaim the blades and shurikens he had taken from her, long ago, saying that he had lost them. Days passed and the original events from the anime and manga took their natural course with the Loss of Ragnarok and the Rise of Shinpaku Alliance.
(Note to self Superman Comma)
(Note for readers, If you wish to be left with only the best from this fanfic, then you can stop here, this is probably the peak, what follows will probably disappoint you, more and more, maybe I run out of imagination or maybe there's no good reason for why the MC of my story should be alive after this battle)

Nano Machine
Until the time of him becoming the master of the lowest rank in the order of rankings, the lonely side of his life without luck was changed. One day suddenly, a future descendant injected him with a nano machine, and the machine started ‘speaking’ to him. What are you talking about?” This was beyond the boy’s knowledge, so he turned pale and asked. The Nano Machine linked to his cerebrum realized the User was not understanding a single word it said. “Who are you, and why are you doing this to me?” [“I am seventh generation Nano Machine.] “Nano Mashin?” [Yes, Nano Machine.] The boy’s face got hardened. Mashin was deity the Mashin Religion worshipped, along with the Sacred Fire. The Master of the Mashin Religion’s role was to communicate with Mashin. “Um, are you really Mashin?” The boy knelt down and asked with trembling voice. At this, the Nano Machine attached to his cerebrum realized he had misunderstood it.

World Wonderer
Mari was happily whisking up some butterscotch slice when our story suddenly whisks her into another world. You'd think it'd be the beginning of another classic Isekai adventure, but it soon becomes clear that things won't be so easy...Her nerdy-teenage-genius summoner has trapped her in his room, no one speaks English, and Mari's gut is NOT prepared for a whole new world of bacteria. Can Mari overcome the travel diarrhea, learn a whole new language and escape before she develops Stockholm syndrome? Most of all, can she learn to flourish in a world so different, yet so similar to her own? ****** Author note: This story is written in response to all the unrealistic, plot-armour Isekais out there. I believe that adventures are more fun when there are unexpected surprises and challenges to be had. That said, this is my virgin voyage into writing an ongoing fiction, so please take care of me @[email protected] Constructive critisms, suggestions and typos in the comments would be most appreciated! Respectfully, Mhm

GameWorld: Earth's Apocalypse
Be careful what you wish for. The old saying holds true for many people, but none more so than Jaxson Stratford. An avid video game player and reader of post-apocalypse novels, Jax always wished for the chance to attain power and abilities like the heroes of the stories he read about. Then, he received his wish in the form of The System’s arrival. However the truth of reality in this new System dominated world, is something far worse than he could ever imagine. This story is similiar to many others on the site, but the 'System' is something I've thought about for some time. That being said, it is still being fleshed out, so don't expect the story to be amazing, but rather an entertaining read.

Branded
From the second Eluc awoke in this world, he was filled with questions. Why can he not remember his past, what is this White Room, and where the hell should he go? Leaving these unanswered, he could only traverse this world based on his instincts alone. However, Eluc still had one lead: the Brand upon his wrists. Author's Thoughts: I want to return to this story one day, perhaps in a re-write. Ended up writing an entire other novel and now might have the confidence to undertake this to write another story. To anyone even reading this, sorry for the hiatus but thank you for reading this attempt at a story. Beautiful cover image edited from a picture by JR Korpa

Reborn into the RWBY World with a Small Cheat
This is my first story so please don't be mean (I don't mind critisism but some people are mean just to be mean). Also I want to make this interactive with readers (so I know people are reading) so please give me some feedback. The mc, a guy named Finn Pherb, just died geting run over by a truck (like nearly every other reincarnator). He thought his life was over, but it was just beginning. He gets reborn into the world of RWBY that's the same but different (in other words I'm ignoring the show so I can write a story that isn't to depressing) and with a little cheat.
