Chapter 15 : dragon vs tyrant

"Bang" two figures fell down on the ground while vomiting bloods . Rin yin and dong song were beaten until their body went weak , they were on the verge of loosing their conscious

As they looked at kai , they saw their vision blur and turning dim , they could only see it unclear .

Kai watched them as he spit bloods out from his mouth and wipe his mouth with his sleeve . His long green hairs danced in the air while his green eyes shone .

While on the another side , man qi was exhausted but still masked his face with a cold smile.

Watching those two girls on his arms , he snorted and threw them away , while kicked Wang qi which forced him to crash on the spiritual barrier.

Man qi was about to hunt lin ying but just at that moment his eyes met with kai's eyes . Two eyes met while their glares were of predators.

Corner of kai's lip curl up and formed a slight smile while so do man qi. Man qi was watching kai as his equal while so do kai.

Other may not know but respect wasn't because of strength but because they had similar aura . An aura that felt like they were comrades, a brother in arms or even a family that understands each other pain and suffer .

Suddenly something strange happened on the battlefield . A very unnatural phenomenon that was very rare.

From the behind man qi , hundred meter long Chinese dragon covered in a azure dragon scale appeared. The dragon carried dignity, pride and might , it was enough to show that it was made for others so they could respect him.

While from the behind of kai , a huge skeleton appeared. This skeleton held long dual swords that was flat . His lower cloth ( pant ) was similar to madara in naruto ( you could just guess how they are ) and like a sasuke the waist of the skeleton was tied by a long rope and his upper body was naked , full of bones . The rope had five layer , two sheath, one on each waist hanging. The skeleton was coated in crimson energy , making it look like the skeleton was burning in flame of hell.

"Roar" the azure dragon roared while slamming the ground with his right claw .

"Roar" the giant skeleton also roared while extending his arms both side . This were the battle intent of man qi and kai .

Those who watched this began to feel their heartbeat pumping just hearing the roars . Their boiling bloods began to get hot and feel youth.

The elders and sect master felt some mysterious power running through their veins just listening to those mighty and pride-ful roars .

Everyone felt like this wasn't fight between kai and man qi but their fight . Some began to imagine themselves as kai while some began to imagine themselves as man qi . This was called true battle intent.

Once a person or warrior manage to unleash a true battle intent they can even make other think that they are you and your enemies are their enemies . In ancient periods , many generals and commanders had true battle intent which would be use to encourage their armies . They would increase their armies morale and courage using true battle intent.

The true battle intent wasn't something that a person can easily master but sometimes when you find a strong and respectful opponent that can make your spirit awake just for the battle , you could subconsciously unleash your true battle intent for temporary.

And the true battle intents coming from kai and man qi were just temporary that was subconsciously being unleash. This proofs that thry acknowledged each others as equal .

Kai began to shudder his shoulders while he also began to lightly lift his body up and down. Man qi began to crack his fingers and shoulder.

" the dragon is finally preying on someone " one inner disciple spoke while he was sitting inside special room made for special guest or inner disciple.

" the other man wearing black cloak also seem to be very strong " another inner disciple said while his eyes was sticking on the match , not wanting to miss anything.

" the real showdown is about to began " one inner disciple said as she was getting impatient.

" you know , you give me a very brotherly feeling every time I meet you " man qi walked toward Kai at first but his phase fasten and began to run .

" oh yeah , than I couldn't agree more. I also feel the same " Kai also began to speed up and closed the distance.

Both of them met on the way and clashed their arms on each others.

Both of them clashed their fist after fists, exchanging fists was like nothing to them . Kick after kicks, both of them falls in the category of skilled martial artist that likes to rely on battle techniques and not some arts like 《 fire palm 》 . Both exchanged fists after fists. Man qi gave a kick on kai's right foot but kai used his right feet to block it . Man qi's leg was beneath kai's feet . Using strength , kai stomped man qi's leg on the ground and used same foot to hit on behind man qi's knee which forced his left leg to fall down .

Kai rolled his body supporting his right shoulder on man qi's head and landed behind man qi . Kai wanted to give a lethal hit but suddenly he felt a terrifying aura coming from man qi.

Like a wild dragon , man qi turned behind to face kai but kai was no less . Kai also used his battle intent to face him , one gave a sense of dragon while another gave vibe of a tyrant.

Kai threw more and more lethal attacks but every hits were endured by man qi , man qi was starting to get tired faster yet his face was masked with normal looks .

Kai was also getting tired but he faked a smile . Both side began to use all strength in every single attacks.

" ha !! " both cried as their body unleashed huge amount of spiritual qi . Man qi was burning in the azure flame ( his spiritual qi was azure so just think that his spiritual qi was enormous large and not real flame )

" ha !! " while kai was burning in silver flame , kai's long black cloak was torn and he had lot's of injuries. His long green hairs were now silver while his eyes also returned back to silver .

The whole surrounding began to devastate , it was just like a radius circle in map . Just like how those circle expanded and tries to locate hidden enemies , kai and man qi's aura began to produce a huge devastation waves which began to expand on the battlefield . The destruction done by their devastation wave began to expand all around 100 meter .

Lin ying was and cang zi were still trying to gasp for air but suddenly the merciless devastation wave blew them away , they couldn't take the force directly so they were eliminated before some internal injuries. While dong song and rin yin weren't ready for this sudden devastation wave which caused them to eliminate as well because of serious injuries.

While wang qi used his kun peng art to his limit , he strengthen his strength and channeled his unused spiritual qi that he hadn't used until now . He fought man qi with pure brutal strength and not spiritual qi which helped him create a strong barrier . But ever time those devastation wave hits his barrier there was a sign of getting weak or cracking.

He realised that how stupid he was . The member from previous generation that stayed is the third generation progenitor and not sect master . Progenitor status are only given when the member of sect becomes someone unparalleled.

Don't know why the third progenitor was now a progenitor since he doesn't do anything but lives his live in seclusion.

While on the battlefield

Kai was also pumping in battle intent, his eyes were deep as demonic grotto and felt like a primordial beast has awaken.

" I feel like crushing you , how fun it would be ?" Man qi said in great difficulty because he was getting tired . Yet he had the expression that says " I fucking won't back down ".

" hahahaha… so do I " kai licked his lips and replied while breathing hardly , like a mad bull.

" bam " both of them clashed their chest and were blasted all the way and got crashed on the spiritual barrier.

" tuk " both tried to stand on their feel and began running toward each others like a cheetah. Bloods were flying in the air while their footprint were left behind because on every step their foot would create so much strength that it would sank the ground.
