Chapter 11 : learning alchemy

Inside the rank 1 practice hall , the room was 40 meter square hall and made of stones . There were drawers on the walls and ingredients inside them along with some few rank 1 inferior grade -upper grade alchemy books on the bookshelves.

There was a huge pit on the middle of the room and the pit was covered by a stone alter . There was 5 meter huge iron cauldron with three legs on the end of it's bottom .

The cauldron had yin yang diagram carved around .

Fire was burning below the cauldron using alchemy wood called burning wood from burning tree . This type of wood could burn for whole few months. Very priceless material for burning fire .

Kai walked to bookshelves and picked up those books while he expanded his 《 time domain 》 around him. He sat down on the chair and began to read about alchemy .

He got to know that alchemy is about mastering the flame control , refining medicine and alchemy ingredients, knowing about various poisons and medicines.

In alchemy there are few things important such as things that are giving below .

Flame control : for controlling the temperature , nourishing and refining the ingredients.

Mastering about the medicines and poisons : so the alchemist could know what they should use and what they shouldn't.

Mastering about living and non living beings : so alchemist could know what will have effect to what kind of situation ? If they wants to strengthen someone's meridians than they should know about that person meridian and have to concoct pills according to that person needs .

They should know about materials , like what kind materials and ingredients would need for an alchemist to concoct an antidote pills ?

Focus and mental power : they should have great focus while concocting the pill and have strong mental power in order to endure the pressure that comes from the pill concoction.

They have to have alchemy flame for better result .

They need a higher rank books for pill concoction so they could advance to another rank of alchemy. Or else without higher rank book for pill concoction, the alchemist would get halted in same rank as before for forever. Or else they needs to search for enlightenment for next rank .

Kai , after finishing his study , he began to walk toward the pill furnace. Walking up till he reached the cauldron, he began to focus on his spiritual qi. He had the best control in his qi that not that many cultivators would have .

if alchemist doesn't have alchemy flame than that alchemist needs to control his / her spiritual qi in order to manipulate flame . But luckily Kai had flame seal which allowed him to manipulate flame like nothing.

But he wanted to try something new , he began to channel his spiritual qi around his palm before a round spiritual energy ball lit up in the middle of his both palms.

The spiritual energy was silver in colour, he didn't stop and began to pour fire inside the spiritual energy. The two different types of energy began fusing but the result was the normal , a red ball of flame was burning up .

"Hm.. looks like because the fire was burned by the seal, there wasn't any reaction when I fused two types of different energies. Let's see what happens when I try to fuse earth energy ?" He began to try and fuse earth and fire using their essential properties and essence source , soon a huge reaction was created.

The red ball of flame began to turn into brown and orange in colour. Kai could feel two different types of energies coming out from there.

" it's an earth flame … holy cow !!" Kai was so happy that he didn't know whether to laugh or cry ?

It was said that earth flame was type of flame when the earth core and earth began to fuse their essence together for thousands of years before creating earthly flame .

It seem like because of elemental seal , this two types of energies easily fused with each others and created one of the earthly flame . There are 5 types of flames in the world , earthly flame , sky flame, heavenly flame , divine flame and mythical flame .

Although earthly flame are lowest but once it evolves , it wouldn't be lower than those sky flame and above .

He suppressed his happiness as he tried to create another flame . He tried to create metal and fire flame but he failed , he tried to create water and fire flame which was absolute failure. But he succeed when he fused wood and flame , there was a green flame burning side by side with earth flame .

Wood flame was also ranked as earthly flame . It's abilities were healing, draining others life force, restoring others energies by transferring host spiritual qi , gaining control over wood element more perfectly.

He began to focus on flame control , just like that time began to fly and soon 1 years passed inside his domain. His mastery over spiritual qi helped him greatly on controlling over his flames.

He began to refine and nourish medicines and alchemy ingredients slowly and patiently. He didn't tried to hurry since he had lots of time . He began to learn everything step by step , he was learning everything by absorbing their essential importance and essence.

This time , because of his past experience in learning things, he began to learn more faster than before .

There were lots of alchemy ingredients, if it was other alchemy than they would only use total ingredients that are worth 1-3 low rank inferior grade spiritual stones , but since it's him , who cheats time , how can only that little ingredients would satisfy his needs ? It was good that those drawers were filled enough to go for 100 years.

"Boom" at first try , he failed . Because of space confinement, it was soundproof otherwise everyone would think that it was an enemy attack.

"Fuck !! Instead of using yang attribute sunflower blazing seed in flame root , I accidentally used yin attributes nine petal cold flower root which caused a reaction between two different attributes. I will not do this type of mistake again "

"Boom" Second try was also a blast .

" fucking hell !! Instead of lowering the temperature of flame while refining ice bone flower and letting it only refine and not melt , I actually turned it into full water . Shit !! "

Third try , this time was no explosion which was a mistake here .

" Shit !! Using young yang to refine old yin , am I fucking mental ? I nearly ate it . Why didn't the concoction went boom this time. It didn't explode so I thought that it was success , who knew I nearly ate this fucking young yin poison concocted by old yin that was greatly nourished by young yang . I nearly died although I am immune to poison because of my absolute rapid wood element anti poison ability . "

Forth try , this time he successfully manage to create a pill. But after some examining the pill .

" flying shit !! Trying to concoct body hardening pill but what did I even create this ? It looks totally black while body hardening pill is actually white . It has yin property while body hardening pill has yang property because it is made for physic and not soul. body hardening pill is concocted by iron gripping ginseng attributes while this thing has toxic enchanting attributes. Fuck !! I know that some medicines and herbs are almost similar but that doesn't mean I am that idiotic to not even recognise the difference. …"

The day went and week welcomed, month passed and years emerged . His 《 time domain 》with him left the real time back .

He emerged himself in alchemy. He first leant to get familiar with medicines and poisons, their attributes and properties . He began to even research about those ingredients own his own . Slowly after long enough , finally 60 years passed and he was already a rank 1 superior alchemist.

In those 60 years , he concocted many pills . Countless failed while few succeed at first but with time , he became rich in experience and learned from his mistake .

For whole 60 years , he gave everything to dao of alchemy before becoming rank 1 superior alchemist.

If not for his time cheating ability , he would have never ever even in dream had dared to be an alchemy.

60 years just to become rank 1 superior alchemist. Can you believe it ? Even a person with no cultivation talent would maximum take 30 years to reach the rank 1 superior alchemist level .

Kai masked his face with a smile " good , I heard that according to alchemy association rule , if one could concoct rank 1 pill more than 10 in a day that person is allowed to become an alchemist / member of alchemy association. Is it true ? "

The lady nodded and replied " of course it is true . Why ? do you wanna try it ?"

Kai nodded before continuing some few talks . They went to trail room where the people from alchemy association would take your test before becoming member of the alchemy association.

There was a fire furnace and a huge cauldron. By the side was an elder , middle age man that was wearing long purple robe . His name was yan pao. An elder with cultivation base of 5th grade superior stage martial master realm .

When he saw kai and the pretty lady , he asked " what happen little yue ? Who is this kid ?"

The young lady name yue tang smiled before replying " elder pao , this kid here is kai , he wants to join the alchemy association and give the test of rank 1 superior alchemist. "

The elder was shocked , he looked carefully at kai . This young man was so so so so handsome.

He asked " okay boy , you want to become a rank 1 superior alchemist in our alchemy association ha ? My name is yan pao , one of ten elders from alchemy association. I am rank 3 inferior alchemist . And also someone that test the newbie that wants to join our alchemy association. Tell me what will you be concocting than ? Remember it needs to be rank 1 superior grade and not below ones okay ?"

Kai nodded " understood , the pill that I am gonna concoct is called 6 colour spirit pill '

Both yue tang and yan pao were surprised by his words . 6 colour spirit pill was a very hard to concoct as a rank 1 even if you are a rank 2 inferior alchemist, it is still a hard thing to do. This is the reason for this pill being rarely sold in market .

6 colour spirt pill is actually an alchemy pill that is concocted by using 3 types of medicines and 3 types of poisons . This pill greatly helps the consumer to repel their body impurities.

Now kai was telling them that he will concoct this pill. Truly bizarre.

How can kai tell them that he had been learning how to concoct this 6 colour spirit pill for past 20 years before mastering it completely ?

' to concoct this pill , one shouldn't use yin and yang attributes , yin as poison and yang as medicine. But instead use yang poison and yang medicines while use yin attributes ingredients as a balance maker.

Don't use yang poison that kills but only those that cleans your body , like making you feel diarrhea or head sickness which will cause you to vomit . This all things are actually useful to throw up everything that are inside your body to outside. While use yang attribute medicine to not hurt your body system and , keep safe and even use body nourishing medicine.

With them all , the consumers body would vomit violently while being safe at the same time the body nourishing medicine would gather all those impurities inside the person body while the body effecting poison that causes the person to vomit would help them throw out the impurities from inside their body .

While the meaning of spirit here doesn't really represents spirit but represents the consumers will power . If they can't endure the sickness and suffer , they will soon faint and their impurities wouldn't be able to properly come out of their bodies , resulting in more harm ' kai said .

It wasn't hard for him to finish the test , his result was okay , not that amazing nor that ordinary. A talented individuals level , he was given the rank 1 superior alchemist badge , this badge would allow him to enter rank 2 training hall anytime to train his alchemy.

He was now one of the member of alchemy association. He wanted to train more but he thought that resting and enjoying life sometimes is also important. So he sighed in helplessness .

Even though he had time cheating ability , he is always restless and in hurry to do something .

" I guess , I could take rest once a while . First let's return to my dorm and sleep for a while without using my 《 time domain 》 . Let me feel a real resting and not artificial rest . "

As he said that , he moved his dorm .
