The afternoon sun bore upon the mansion in its grand splendor as the citizen of the Great Tzech Union gathered in hearing the President's speech.
The servants within the mansion busy themselves, creating an air of urgency. While the man of the hour, President Fernando Sanchez, fixes his tie.
He looked at one of the servants and spoke, "Where is my daughter?" The servants hurriedly bow as they replied. "She is outside, Sir. She was last seen heading to the orphanage."
Fernando scowls in distaste, and he shakes his head with an exasperated smile. "What could I have possibly done to raise such a disobedient daughter."
The servants look at each other, their eyes filled with warmth. Though before Fernando can rant, a new voice replied. "Let your daughter be, and she remains harmless."
The man that entered then sat at one of his decorated seats. "It's best you prepare first for your speech." He smiles menacingly, "After all, we'll be watching."
Fernando glanced at him and spoke plainly, "Thanks, VICE President Miguel." Miguel smiles once more, "It is no problem, anything for you," His smile turns mocking. "Mr. President."
Fernando rolls his eyes, sending the servants out with a wave. "Stop with the word games, Miguel." He sat at the chair, "Why are you here?"
Miguel laughs. "I'm merely here to congratulate you, Mr. President," He puts his hand to his heart, "Think of it as Well wishes from your VP."
Fernando raises his eyebrow and crosses his arms. "If you say so, but you should know I have no patience for." Fernando stands up and looks down, "Sore losers."
Fernando leaves the room, and Miguel grits his teeth.
"Milady, Milady." A young boy follows his charge, his small voice drowned by the crowd. He looks forward, seeing the cute girl running in front of him, holding her hand out to him.

"Cmon Carlos, go faster." The young girl urges, her bronze skin glistening from the bright sky. Carlos shakes his head in disbelief as he grabs her hand and runs along with her.
His sword shaking at his side, he spoke once more. "Milady, was it necessary to leave your guards?" The girl puffs her cheek and stops to pinch Carlos in his cheeks, "How did you address me?"
Carlos pulls back and coughs in his hand, a bit of blush on his cheeks. "I mean, Juliana, did we really have to leave them?"
Juliana starts running once more, her smile wide. "Of course, they always scare the children." She passes by the citizens, "Good morning Juliana." They greet her with waves and a smile.
Juliana smiles back. Carlos shakes his head. Knowing that the guards are following the trail of excited citizens.
Carlos isn't sure if Juliana doesn't know her effect on people. The impact and influence that her name carries are significant.
They continue to run as Juliana excitedly stops in front of what he would identify as a church. Specifically the church of Gira.
It has turned from a decrepit collapsible building into a magnificent sight. Juliana grips Carlos' hand, making him look at her to see her satisfied expression.
The renovation is perfect, Juliana thought as she looks around the church, inspecting each detail. However, further comments were interrupted by loud giggles.
Children from two to six years of age ran through the front yard. "Juliana," They shouted excitedly as they ran to her. She puts her arms out, expecting their hugs.
Juliana catches all of them in a hug. Their giggling music to Carlos's ear. Juliana spoke, "You guys have grown," Hugging them as she coos in delight.
"Now, now children don't overwhelm Saintess Juliana." The words that were spoken capturing the duo's attention, "Ms. Marie." Juliana blushes, a sight that fills Carlos in delighted contentment.

Carlos' dopey smile though, was interrupted. As he looked to a dark alley, he whispers to Juliana, "Juliana ill have to take care of something." Her eyes fill with understanding as she nods.
Carlos weaves through the street as he stops to face five men twice his size. They look at him as one, grins menacingly.
He spoke, "Hey, Kid. care to help me." He points to the church, "Could you introduce us to your friend there?"
Carlos looked back to Julian and asked innocently, "Why? What do you need with her?" The vicious smile was more than enough of an answer for Carlos.
Carlos moved quickly, as the bright shine of steel was the last thing the man ever saw. As his head falling off his body, the four men moved just as fast.
Carlos stood there unaffected as the three men charged at him and one aiming a crossbow at Juliana. The fierce brown eyes bore to them, instilling them with fear one which they shook off.
The three men ready their swords, charging to Carlos. As they ran towards him, they encounter a peculiar sight.
Their view turning upside down, their last expression filled with confusion. The last man panicking, shot his bolt to Juliana, only to be intercepted by a hand raised in protection.
Carlos looks at his hand, the bleeding hand with a bolt through it. Carlos smiled and spoke menacingly, "Good shot, too bad you met me."
The man screamed "MONSTER." as he tried to run away. Carlos took the arrow of his hand and threw it with enough force to pierce the man's neck.
Running was heard behind him as he looks back to see Juliana's guards. He points to the dead men, "Take care of them for me," He gestured to the guard with his bleeding hands. "Give me a bandage."
The man nods, taking it out for him. Carlos leaves while bandaging his hand. As he does so, a voice spoke to him, "You've gotten pretty good."
Carlos looks at the man floating, running beside him. His clothing similar to that of a Taekwondo practitioner.
Carlos shakes his head, "Thank you for your unnecessary input. Jun" The man laughs, "HA! you gotta get better if you wanna protect that princess of yours."
Carlos sighs, "I know," he stops in front of the church to come to as sight of Juliana healing some of the children.
The angel floating beside her, whispering as she looked at me. Juliana waves her away with a red face filled with embarrassment as she shouted, "Gabby!" making the angel floating in a fit of giggles.
The red face and embarrassment enough as an anesthetic to any pain his right hand might have felt.
Then again, he could probably heal this in a day.
