《Reincarnator’s Road to World Domination》Concept

Adelaide's Pov
I ate slowly, savoring the delicious cuisine the Orbritush Kingdom offers. Yesterday presented itself to be a whirlwind.
I shake my head as countless thoughts pass. First of all, Prince Charles, another reincarnator. Fortunately, or unfortunately, he seems to be an unenthusiastic participant.
Then that'll just mean one less participant, and I'd also rather not antagonize the Orbritush Kingdom. Then again, there is a chance we'll be marrying, though it could be for some time.
I stop eating as another headache comes, the result of our diplomatic endeavors. Ended up creating a commonwealth.
Though admittedly, having two nations as your powerbase does sound good. Sadly, ill be sharing the power in doing so.
A situation that id rather not get into, though admittedly, the three princes seem competent. I'd rather be married to Charles, a man born with my own sense of values, I hope.
And if he continues to remain uninvolved, that'll just mean an easier decision for national affairs. I shake my head, and I shouldn't think about this too much. The creation of the commonwealth will, after all, only happen in my day of marriage.
I continue to eat as a weird view enters my vision slowly—Ceri, walking in circles, one I consider an extraordinary circumstance.
I ask her a question in response to her worried thinking. "Ceri, are you all right?" Ceri looks at me and groans. "Why did I agree to this."
I look at her offended, "Excuse me?" She stood straight and walked towards me. She sat down and spoke gravely. "Is there any way? You could leave here and never return?"
I looked at her confused and spoke, "No, there's no way." I look at her expression, turning despondent. "I know, Ugh, I just hoped we didn't involve ourselves with him."

I asked, a bit curious. After all, this is the first time I've seen Ceri worried. "Him? Who is it?" She sighs and summoned the blanket, covering herself in what she considered safe.
"Lord Viktor." She spoke gravely as if the words itself held power. She continued as she snuggled deeper in her blanket. "Lord Viktor is another senior executive."
I ask her, confused, "And?" Ceri sighs deeply, "Remember when I told you that the Board members of AFTERLIFE can create a universe?" I nod, reminded of her quick explanation.
She nods satisfied, "At least you remember," She showed her finger, "Such power cannot be achieved through normal means."
She pointed at me, "Even with a legend you can create in this world." She waves her hand dismissively. "There is no possible way to reach that level of power, even if you repeat it a thousand times."
I keep listening, knowing that she wouldn't be explaining something this seriously without a situation forcing her to do so.
I spoke a bit worried "Then?" She sighs. "That means men of such significant power have to take control of a concept!"
I look at her, questioning, "Concept?" She looks down, summoning a cup of coffee. "A concept is an idea, it could be taken from another, or you can create your own." She drinks it one gulp after she finishes.
Now with energy brimming in her eyes, she spoke a bit dramatic "As long as it exists within the minds of humanity, you can siphon power off of it,"
She dismisses the blanket as she sat straight, giving an air of power, something I have not seen exude even once.
"A concept also holds various benefits, if one controls a concept," The room was covered in a blue sky. "One can act upon its limitless boundaries." The words followed a stormy sky and loud thunder echoing through the room.

Ceri notices my confused expression, and spoke "For example then, Time, is a concept controlled by a board member, the man can control time as easy as breathing,"
She looks down as the cup of coffee seemingly refills, "He can rewind, fast forward or just stop time, for he is TIME."
The words mark themselves upon my head, a power unimaginable by the hands of a being. I look at her in trepidation. "That sounds terrifying." She nods back.
I look at her in worry. "Then why do you wish for me to leave?" Her behavior falters as she groans in her hand as the blue recedes back, revealing the room as it was before.
She looked at me through her finger and spoke a bit worried. "Among us senior executives, Lord Viktor is a name among legends."
I swallow dryly and felt afraid if a man can be a legend among legends. Then what kind of person could he possibly be.
"He's also one of the youngest," Ceri shakes her head, straightening her back, and looked around. She whispers closer, "And the only one stepping on the border of being a board member."
I nod, knowing the gravity of the situation. "Then is he here?" She nods gravely, and I freeze in fear. "Is he really that scary?"
She shakes her head, "The problem isn't his personality, it's his chosen concept. one which he is currently in the precipice of completion." I hesitantly ask her a question, knowing the answer could terrify me to no end.
"What is his concept?"
Ceri swallows dryly and spoke with a voice filled with fear
"HELL"
"Hell?" That doesn't sound as bad as I thought. I went closer and whispered to her a question, "I don't get it."
Ceri shakes her head in disappointment and whispers. "It means that he is the personification of hell."
That sounds ingeniously powerful, and I look back to Ceri, mirroring my expression filled with fear. Ceri sighs and once again hid in a blanket.
She spoke, voice muffled, "I have seen him floating near that prince of yours." I look at her, shocked, "Charles?" Ceri nods affirmatively, and I stop in contemplation.
I ask Ceri another question to confirm my suspicion. "Do senior executives get to choose their apprentice?"
Ceri spoke, voice filled with realization. "Yes, although it is a requirement of us to at least choose an apprentice once throughout our career."
If Lord Viktor is as powerful as Ceri says, what could have attracted him to be a mentor to Charles?

Viceroy's Pride
This story could be about the Tellask Empire, ruler of a thousand suns and faced with imminent peril at the hands of the Orakh hordes. It could be about Paltai Amberell, the scion of a noble elven House, fallen upon hard times and seeking to find the key that will restore his family's name and save the Empire itself. It could be the story of his voidship, The Viceroy's Pride, powered by magic and crewed by a team of crack marines as they search for adventure and the solution to the Empire's myriad problems. Instead, this is the story of Daniel Thrush, human electrical engineer, befuddled researcher and survivor of the debacle that was first contact with a spacefaring civilization. Due to a combination of luck, magic, hard work, and more luck he is thrust into the center of events as Earth is shoved onto a much larger stage rife with semi-immortal elves and magical kingdoms that predate the Earthly invention of agriculture. Earth is outnumbered, and we have precisely one wizard. Dan. He's not very good at it, but he's going to have to learn in a hurry or watch everything he knows get torn apart by massive spacefaring empires straight from the pages of a fantasy novel. ---------- Some readers have noted that the MC tends to be weak willed and pushed around a bit. A significant portion of the story is his character growth into not being a pushover (i.e. him being passive is in the early chapters on purpose). I'm just including this caveat/warning to make sure that readers aren't surprised/upset and that they stick with it until he learns to stand up for himself. His arc begins to crystallize around chapters 25-27. If that's too long to wait, I get it, I'm just trying to do my due diligence and warn you that the character development is a bit of a slow burn. This is NOT a harem novel. Nothing against them, just not what it is. --------- Updates Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday Feel free to bother me on our discord- Discord!

A Fragmented Mind
"Hi there. My name is Richard Maddox, but my — admittedly nonexistent — friends call me Rick. I live in a world of superheroes and villains. A world filled with magic and physics-defying powers, and in this world, I'm just an ordinary, completely average 17-year-old boy. My imaginary friends, however, are as far from average as you get. You think you're good at deluding yourself? Well, stand back, because it's time for a master to show you his craft. Welcome to my life, the life of a madman." This story was originally inspired by the 'Legion' novella series written by Brandon Sanderson. If you've read those books and liked them, it might be worth giving this a read. The same goes if you haven't read them either, I guess. (Currently re-writing earlier chapters)
