《Reincarnator’s Road to World Domination》A bit young

Adelaide nods excitedly, putting her arms over Charles. She looks towards the duo, still excitedly talking with regards to Gunpowder. She whispers, "I plan on going with it."
Charles looks at her in mild confusion, "Well, I kinda wanna see what's after this." Her hand lights up in green. "Don't you also want to see what's next?"
Charles looks at her hand and assumes it was perhaps her chosen skill. He shakes his head and shrugs, "I don't want to participate."
Adelaide looked at him weirdly and spoke a bit disappointed. "Why not? Don't you at least want to try?" Charles shakes his head. "Not really," He waves his hand dismissively. "I kinda don't see a point in doing so."
Adelaide, whose expression now disappointed, spoke with curiosity, "Why not?" Charles said, "I just don't think it's for me."
He waves his hand offhandedly, "After all, a world conquest isn't a good life to live." Adelaide looks at him strangely as if he's missing something.
She spoke a bit confused, "You are aware that you're a prince? Right?" He stops and looks at her, confused. She said, now a bit irritated, "That means you don't have a CHOICE."
Adelaide's shouting capturing the duos attention, Charles responds with a bit of doubt. "How did that come about from being a prince?"
Adelaide's expression is now filled with annoyance, a fact which Ceri, still floating at the ceiling, enjoys immensely.
She said, her eyes filled with annoyance, "Look in any way you see this," She points at his chest. "You'll either end up in a position of power or have you and everyone else you love die."
Charles looks taken aback as the conversation now captures the brother's attention. Julius looked at Charles's bothered face and spoke worriedly, "Is there a problem Princess Adelaide?"

The pair looks back at Julius and shakes their heads, and returns to their whispered conversation. Aron and Julius return to their notes, continuing from where they left, but they look in Charles's direction every now and then.
The two now whispering, Charles worried expression comes into her view. "Then what exactly do you want me to do?"
Adelaide, with a soft smile, whispered, "That's easy," She gets closer. "We can work together." She holds Charles's hands.
Charles takes his hand away and looks at her cautiously. "Really? Working with someone, I barely know?" He knows that this test shouldn't be taken lightly, but he can always stay away from any of the chaos the reincarnators will create.
Adelaide nod enthusiastically, "You can trust me," She gestures at herself. "After all, well be stuck in marriage anyway so why not."
Charles chokes on his own spit as his two brothers freeze in shock. Adelaide looked confused from their reactions and questioned, "Didn't you know? that was the reason we were here in the first place."
She looks at the three of them and points to herself. "I, the Heiress of Germania, was sent here to cement an alliance between the two nations." She knits her hands together, signifying the impending alliance.
The three princes looked at each other, and they shrug their shoulders. Adelaide spoke perturbed by their lack of reaction. "Why it is that you seem unaffected by such news."
Julius spoke nonchalantly. "I mean, we still don't know what the adults will do." He returned to his notes and said, "So, id rather not think about it."
Aron nods in agreement, "Yes, quite a conundrum. Unfortunately, I do not have a say to whom i shall marry." He points at Julius, "And just as my brother so callously said, it is best for me not to think about it."

Adelaide looked towards Charles and whispered. "Is this normal? I mean isn't this important?" She looks at Charles for answers.
He shakes his head and whispered back softly. "They've always been unconcerned in politics," He smiles fondly. "Our mothers made us do our hobbies more than we did ruling."
Adelaide looks a bit surprised and then nodded in understanding. She spoke with curiosity, "I see, then who will be succeeding your father? since no one seems to have been taught how to."
The words caught their attention, and the three princes looked at each other, then Aron and Julius screamed. "NOT IT!" Charles looks at his two brothers, a bit sulky, resulting in the two's giggles.
Charles sulky reply, as he childishly waved his fist at them. "Thats not how it works!" To which the duo responds with more giggles.
Adelaide watched all of this in envy, having been an only child in both her lives. She giggles along, a bit delighted with the situation she found herself in.
Julius now looks toward Adelaide, "You see, lady Adelaide, we already chose our king." He slams his clenched hand upon his chest in a weird sense of bravado, "After all, I'll be a great general instead."
Aron laughs at him, "Quite a small dream isn't it?" He gestures to himself in the most elegant way possible. "After all, what is a great general, to a man of progress."
The words irritated Julius. "What was that? sounds like excuses from a sore loser." Julius sneered. The response irritated Aron into an argument.
As the two bickered, Adelaide looked at Charles's soft smile. She spoke inquisitively, "So it seems you're left to be the king then?"
Charles shakes his head and smiles at her. "I'll think about it when I get there." He nudged her towards the cookies left at the table. "But in the meantime, I would rather enjoy my time here."
He stuffed himself with cookies, gesturing Adelaide some. She shakes her head, and sweets were never really her favourite. "It would seem I am going to have to wait then." she smiles.
Charles swallowed and smiled back, and he spoke "Oh yeah, let's talk about what's happening back at your kingdom." Adelaide nods.
A few hours pass like this, talking about new inventions, current politics, and mostly messing with each other.
A knock comes from the door and opens to have Frederick standing there with a soft expression. "Your Highness, It's time for us to leave."
