《Reincarnator’s Road to World Domination》Heiress

The smell of salty sea enters the senses as the men sing their shanties and the servants busy themselves, perhaps preparing for landfall.
I rest my head on my chin, thinking about the delegation my father sent with me. However, I would admit the fact that it is annoying.
But I can see the logic behind it. After all, right now, I'm a mere kid, while these men hold experience above me. There is no way anyone is going to take me seriously. I guess telling him was a great idea.
Although on the upside, I am quite glad that father at least entrusted me the ability to choose upon which of the three princes I shall be engaged to.
Urgh, I can't believe this is happening. I try and calm myself and spoke consolingly, "It's fine Adelaide, It's fine, you've been through worse."
I whisper through the wind, afraid of anyone hearing my thoughts. "Let's just hope, at least one of them was from Earth."
I shake my head, the wait filling me with anxiety. I open the door to my room, only to remember someone already lying in it.
I facepalm, remembering the visitor I got on my tenth birthday. The woman that is currently hidden beneath blankets, napping like it's her first sleep in a decade.
I try and push her off my bed, only to pass through, tripping me into my bed. Right, I forgot the fact that I can't touch her.
She looks at me weirdly, "What are you doing Ade?" I lie deeper within my bed, a bit embarrassed for forgetting such a significant fact. "Nothing, Ceri," I look at her, a bit irritated, "why are you even here."
Ceri stretches like a cat still encased in her blanket. She looks at me with her green eyes. "I told you, I'm required to be here," She spins around, trying to find a comfortable spot, "cause my boss would kill me if i slacked off in teaching."

I dip my head in thought as I absentmindedly stare at her beautiful face. She shyly hides her face with her black hair, "Don't look at me like that, I'll get embarrassed."
Her voice breaks me off my stupor. "What? OH, sorry, I wasn't really looking at you, I was just thinking, what exactly are you going to teach me?"
Ceri looks at me with a firm expression, an expression I can't take seriously, perhaps due to the fact that she now holds a stuffed bear. "As you mentor, ill be teaching everything," I look at her, confused. "Everything?"
She nods firmly. "Yes, everything." She spins in her blanket along with her bear as she explains to me. "Youll be taught everything, from politics to combat,"
Ceri nods. "After all, this is a test, and ill be your teacher." I nod, understanding. "Well, what about those that die even before it starts?"
Ceri stops and shrugs. "Dunno, don't care." She waves dismissively, "Probably relegated to some level three office."
I look at her, confused. "Level three?" She hides beneath her blanket, her face hidden. She spoke, her voice muffled, "Well, there are eight levels of hierarchy within AFTERLIFE."
She shows five fingers, "The first five are the fifth to first level orders, mostly office workers or soldier grunts." She gestures with her hand, "Most of them are successful rulers, businessmen and warriors, who didn't really impact the world as much. As much as they think they did, I guess."
I look at her weirdly, "Then what do they do? If they were successful, isn't it a waste to use them like that?" Ceri wiggles inside her blanket, "Ugh so many questions, We send them to the world with rising demon lords, dark lords, and various beings that threaten the continuance of life."

She spoke offhandedly, "They consolidate their personal power, as they fix and eliminate any threats to their designated world." She stops and started to pretend to sleep, huddling closer to the corner of the bed.
I ask curiously. "Then what's above that?" Ceri groans, "Oh my God," she comes out of her blanket, revealing her brown skin and black baggy clothes. She coughs in her hands as she spoke seriously. "Well, Junior executives, is what you'll end up as if you pass this,"
Ceri flourishes her hand. With her command, a storm raged outside and disappeared as quickly as it appeared. "Junior executives, are people who have successfully consolidated enough personal power, to wreak havoc around the world, at will."
"Personal power? Like magic?" She lies face down, "Yes, you become a beacon of power, you'll get the strength needed to fight off a primordial deity."
Holy ****, there's so much out there, and I'll be one-day fighting primordial deities? "Primordial Deities?" Her voice muffled as she snuggles closer to the bed. "Yes, beings born from belief, in what humans cant understand."
I nod to myself, "I see, then how EXACTLY am I gonna fight them? Even if I do win?" She raised her head and looked me in the eye, with a grin unfit for her tired face. "The legend you'll make in conquering this world will give you the belief necessary, to fend off deities."
I swallow dryly, suddenly reminded to who I am talking with. "Then what about, Senior executives?" She shakes her head. "Oh god, why did god send someone as annoying as you." I puff my cheek in irritation, making her smile.
Ceri sighs. "Ill just give you a rundown then. Senior executives could probably make a galaxy out of nothing." I look at her slack-jawed, A GALAXY?
She continues as if what she said was normal, "Then one of the board members could probably make a universe out of nothing." She hid in the blanket again, taking her stuffed bear with her. "Now, don't bother me again."
"Wait! wait! I don't think that's enough of a description!" I shout, trying to annoy her by making my hands repeatedly go through her. She shouted muffled "FINE!" and grumbled in her breath, "annoying apprentices,"
A knock interrupts her, and I hear a giggle, "Looks like they're waiting for you, bye, bye." I sigh, annoying mentors, well, I at least learned something new. A knock from the door pushes my thoughts away, "Princess Adelaide, we have reached Siegcas."
I open the door to see the Captain, and I nod. "Thank you, is everyone else ready?"
The Captain bows, "We are waiting for you, so we may leave." I nod as I leave the room.
