《Reincarnator’s Road to World Domination》Sieg

Mother walked with me, exploring the palace. The moment with my father ended abruptly by the emergency that required his attention. Therefore, after that, my mother and I chose to explore.
I noticed the paintings of Kings, Queens, and historical events. Each was signifying the 150 years of Sieg dominance of the continent.
I look on with mounting pressure. The weight of my name alone is something that inspires authority.
The fact that I didn't even have one before makes it even more precious. It is giving me the feeling of being part of something bigger.
The thought is interrupted as we stop in front of a door. Mother looks down on me, smiling, and opens it.
A library of great magnitude filled to the brim with books enters my vision. The size alone could be twice the size that of Caehal's library.
I look at my mother with excitement. She nodded at me and spoke. "Sweetie, Mommy is going to do business. I'll leave you here where it's safe. the guards here are sure to protect you."
She looks toward the guards and sees them nod in affirmation. I hug her and lovingly spoke. "I love you, mommy. Come back safe."
She smiled at me and kissed the top of my head. "Of course, sweetie." Perhaps it's just me scared from this new environment. The fear that there is a chance I might lose this happiness remains.
I shake my head from the thought and engrossed myself in searching the various sections of the library.
Perhaps the last year shouldn't have been all spent studying magic with Timothy. Now that I think about it. The only time I studied history was with my mother that one time. Even then, most of it was surface level.
I shake the thought away. Well, what better time than now. I continue to walk, trying to find the history section.

I stop and notice a book of significant size with gilded letters on its cover and took it to see a picture of an event. The title read, "Siegfried's Conquest."
The scene was that of a man with black hair and black eyes and a victorious smile, as men and women around him kneel.
The scene is accentuated by the degree of carnage in the background, various craters, and protruding rock scattered around the field.
I took it with me back to a comfortable sofa and proceeded to read. The first chapter described Siegrfried's life, born as a commoner and started his career as a soldier. Only through insane luck and talent did he rise through the chaos.
Huh, reading things like this can really pump a guy up. I nod to myself, but what did he discover? What technology could be powerful enough to change the tide of war?
Powerful enough even to be kept secret but remain just as impactful. I stay deep in thought until an excited childish voice spoke to my side, shocking me.
"Do you wanna read it together!" I look towards the voice to see my brother. Julius is smiling brightly and bouncing excitedly.
I nod, apprehensive. Julius sits beside me and gently pulls the book between us. We started reading together. This is nice, and I'll get closer to my brother and have a relationship to mitigate misunderstandings.
The next part was the start of his conquest. Julius excitedly looks closely as a picture appears, a picture depicting Siegcas in its infancy. A small city, a city that you wouldn't believe to be the city it was today.
I look at it wondering, wondering at how much time it took to paint such a scene in a book—The base of his power, the source of men for his first armies.

Julius turned the page and spoke the words in wonder. "Siegcas was Siegfried's first conquest. It was renamed after Siegfried conquered it through wit and military prowess. through a peasant revolt."
Julius turned the page once more and spoke with inspired awe one of the lines in the paper "Siegcas was only able to field a thousand men, mostly light armoured infantry, Siegfried trained the army to unheard off effectiveness."
The line inspires in me deep thought, what effectiveness? Like modern training regiments? Then if it's so unheard of, how could he have known about it?
The thought was interrupted by Julius excitedly turning the page a bit roughly, scolding voice spoke in front of us. "Both of you are aware that the book you are holding is only one of the five copies ever made?"
Julius and I look up and see Aron with a haughty expression. Julius mockingly laughs at him " Of course, little brother." Aron's eyebrow twitches as the haughty expression crumbles to annoyance.
Aron took the book a bit forceful and sat between us. "Well, since you're unable to handle it with care. I, as the most responsible one, will take charge."
Julius laughs harder putting his arm over his shoulder, and I giggle, hugging them both, as Aron sputters a bit red. He turned the page over and spoke loudly, capturing our attention.
"Siegfried's first true battle was with Andrew Agrod, which resulted in a draw, due to Siegfried's lack of resources, to capitalize on a favourable situation" Aron nods to himself, oozing pride, perhaps because of his heritage.
Julius and I shake our heads as we turn the page. "The most significant influence in Siegfried's rise was perhaps his magic, a relic of the old age. It is now known as the Imperial Staff."
The quote was accompanied by the picture of a staff adorned with jewels, each jewel signifying an element.
"WOW" The three of us shouted in awe all at the same time. We look at each other and laughed. As the laughter dies down, we continued to read.
A few hours passed by as we read the book, excitedly reacting each time. I would hope that our time together got us closer. And any bad first impression is gone.
We continued to read, and the reading was a happy occurrence, the first time we all settled in as brothers.

Zombies
This is one of three stories that I am offering as a test run. If you like it, then I'll choose to continue working on it. I have a whole plot line ready to explore! What can I say, I'm a sucker for rebirth, regression, and transmigration stories. This one is a regression story. The main character get's yeeted back in the past, to where the end began. Read on tortured souls as I do my best to break the weak, and sooth those who don't have a soul to break. I spent some time trying to make a story that explores all the gritty situations a resident of the apocalypse would encounter. Unfortunately, I do struggle with pace. I get just as impatient as you when I can't get to the next bloody encounter. But I despise OP characters, and I really wanna stop and explore the fascinating death of civilization. I write this in hopes of making a main character who get's to be the bad-ass I can't be, without, you know, skipping the good stuff.
