《Reincarnator’s Road to World Domination》Jet

There are a few things I would love to have done in my previous life. Like flying on an airplane, I never did get on a plane, never had the money or the time. I thought as I move forward, we had a break after the motorbike incident. We sat around talking about the concept. To now, I would think it be a jet.
Timothy exclaims suddenly, "We need to have a hole!" I look at him, questioning, "Hole where?" He pulls up the boots and points at the soles. "Here! If we put holes here, we could just have you send in the air inside the soles and heat it so it would shoot out and propel you upwards." I nod in amazement. I guess there's a reason he's the headmaster of an educational institution.
"So, am I gonna have to wait for it then?" I ask him. He ignored me and proceeded to sit down on the grass. He turns his back at me and started to concentrate, holding a boot in his hand. I shrugged my shoulder and proceeded to walk back to the bench, waiting for him to call me back. I guess he's going to need to concentrate, and now that I think about it. Metal does count in with earth magic. I think it counts for anything coming from the earth. So can it be used for smithing? Hmm, the application does hold merit since you could probably manipulate the metal any way you want. Metal cut at a precision only modern technology could offer.
The idea can change a lot of things. How could I act on it though, should I ask mother? or maybe timothy can help ease the process? WAIT, the most crucial part, though, is if it's been done en masse. My thought was cut off as laughter comes from Timothy. He held out a pair of military boots designed with a big hole on the bottom and smaller holes on the soles' sides.

I excitedly run towards him as he sets down the boots on the ground. And was eagerly waiting for me to wear the modified shoes. I immediately put it on along with what he calls the magic bag and will the air into the soles. I heat the soles hoping the heat is fast enough, to expand the air. I stand there for 30 seconds, afraid of increasing the heat to levels that would fling me above the clouds. As I concentrate, I feel a force pushing me up. I stand straighter afraid that an imbalance could drag me through the ground.
I feel the wind flowing around me, and I float little by little. Until a sight enters my eyes, I feel the same joy I did the last two times. I enjoy my time here until I feel the heat in my foot. And I panic once again, leaning unbalanced. I immediately cut off the heat, hoping the air would sustain me as I try to balance myself again. The problem appeared with my mistake of going forward and the realization that the ground is coming closer and faster. I close my eyes in panic.
I start to increase the heat inside the sole to the point of searing my flesh. As the ground comes closer, the fear of death intensifies. I realize the mistake of leaning forward. I open my eyes again to see the steel fence growing bigger. Adrenaline flows through, washing over me. I try to blast air to straighten myself and cut off the heat to realign myself. As I struggle for my life, familiar warm hands wrap around me as a scared whimper escapes me.
A comforting voice spoke, "You're ok baby, you're ok" I look at mother as she caressed my head, filling me with blissful warmth. The thought was cut off by searing pain, making me wince, "I got it, I got." I hear timothy speaking in panic as he walks closer, adeptly removing the boots as I look down at my feet. Noticing only what I could call a third-degree burn.

Before I could scream in pain, my mother hugs me tighter, and Faye immediately proceeded to heal me with water, the pain eliciting from me a sob. As I sob in my mother's arms, Timothy removed the magic bag from me. Mother turns around, heading for the bench. Faye continued to heal me.
I stopped sobbing and looked up to notice Timothy, deep in thought, as he holds the charred boot. He looked at me sheepishly and walked towards us. "Uhhh, Hey." He hesitantly spoke as I notice look at my mother glaring at him with daggers. He gulps nervously and stands awkwardly a few feet from us. Mother continued to glare daggers.
Faye finishes healing my feet. I look at it in awe of magic's capability in healing, turning such grievous injury into nothing. Mother looks at it and smiles at me as she kisses my cheek. "Is it fine now, baby? You should try and move it a little." I nod at her as I move it, testing for any pain. I shake my head at her, and she hugs me tighter. Such a happy mood was then interrupted by Faye.
"It seems that putting people in danger has become your hobby," Faye spoke sharply. As she glares at Timothy, Timothy slouches depressed. He looks at me, pleading for help. I shrugged my shoulder and told. "Mama, did you see? I was floating." Timothy catches on and nods. As he started to speak, he was shut down by two glares. "Well, you've been floating before?" I stop and realize her question, and I reply enthusiastically. "But this time, I can be faster, and it so much easier."
I jump of Mother's lap and immediately run to Timothy, pointing at the magic bag. Timothy opens it to present the four modules. "See, the magic bag's air and fire module aren't as hot as before," I reply smugly, holding it in my hand. "That means it's better suited for floating."
The radiant smile from my mother was everything I ever needed.
