《The Intelligent Ogre (Dropped for remake)》Chapter 1 - Jake Flash , 'God?', and the Reincarnation Process

Jake Flash on his death bed saw his family around him. He knew his time would come sooner or later, but he didn't expect that at age 52 he got brain cancer.
Though he didn't really care after all he knew everyone died at some point, he stared around the room. His family, friends, people he helped, and many others around his hospital room. The only regret he had was not being able to stay with his family until his child grew old enough.
Jake did a lot in his life started poor, more precisely in an orphanage he worked his way up, never taking a break while earning his business degree, climbing the social ladder, and even reaching the top of society (a.k.a becoming a capitalist) at age 35. Though at that point Jake realized that there was no point when he reached the top. Money just became a number and more problems started to pile up, making his life stressful, and never being able to enjoy his money.
He remembered his childhood how he barely had enough food to eat, had to sleep in a cold room bundled together with other children. How in school people didn’t want to associate with him, he remembered, after all it was the reason why he worked so hard.
Then it hit him back then, the reason people like him suffered back than was because of us capitalists, we took most of the money from the people and kept it with us. Thinking of that Jake decided back then to help people, so they don’t experience what he experienced.
There was no reason he should think of it as an obligation or duty, but maybe just a hobby to make himself feel better. Though he was wrong, very wrong. This was because of the first heartfelt ‘thank you’ he received. It was the most enjoyable moment in his entire life, and from that moment on he had a new goal to help people who needed help, though he might have taken it a bit too far.
Since he was a billionaire, this wasn’t hard he started to visit orphanages, homeless people’s shelter, and other places that needed help.
At 40 he married a kind woman working at an orphanage, and later got a child, did his best to be a good father and spend as much time as he could with his family since he didn't really have one, unless you counted the orphanage, which many people there who also ignored him, trying their best to live. Though as you would expect it only lasted until he was 52 years old and got brain cancer.

While he was thinking about his life, his head and heart started to hurt and then heard the beeping of the devices, he knew he most likely got a heart attack or something.
Looking at the room one last time, Jake said with a smile “No worries we all die, as long as we enjoyed our life, it’s not like there is an afterlife aft-” Jake died before he could finish.
While Jake died everyone in the room started to cry, but what nobody in the room knew was that even though Jake’s physical body died his ‘soul’ and ‘mind’ did not.
His soul and mind were taken by a mysterious force in an instant, and he ‘saw’ everything that that happened in his life. A question appeared in his mind, there was an afterlife?
Jake never believed in God because when he was young, he prayed to God to let him be adopted to a good family which never came to be. Then there were those moments where he thought if there was a God, why were there people who suffer even if they believed in ‘Him’? After which, Jake gave up in believing in ‘God’ even to his deathbed, where others at the end of their lifespans start to become more religious in fear of death and afterlife.
Jake then heard a voice that reached his soul, “non-believer, crimes 174, 0 major 174 minor as listed below.”
Jake then saw all his crimes that he committed, which as stated were not major, crimes such as firing a worker, hurting some person’s feelings heavly, etc. Though he didn’t have time to continue to think, as he was panicking, who was that and am I going to hell with that many crimes?
Then Jake heard the voice continue, “Good deeds 898,560 + 705,620 (after death gave away 3.5242692 billion dollars to orphanages as part of your will), 1,580 major 1,602,600 minor as listed below. 1000 minor good deeds are equivalent to one major good deed
Jake saw his good deeds and calmed down. He probably wasn’t going to hell with that number of good deeds. Though Jake and couldn’t help thinking of how little he helped the world, after all there were hundreds of millions of people that needed help and he couldn’t even reach two million good deeds.

Though when Jake saw the major good deeds he was surprised. It turned out major deeds involved the life or death of a person or an equivalent of it. It turned out when he gave money away, he stopped some people from committing suicide or made some homeless people survive the bad weather.
The voice continued, “Removing bad deeds by removing 10 times the amount of equivalent value good deeds. Remaining good deeds 1,600,860, 1,580 major 1,599,280 minor. It has been evaluated that ‘Jake Flash’ has done great amounts of good deeds, while not being able to enter Heaven due to not being a believer, has been a ‘good person’ and will be granted a reincarnation with memory (removing 1000 major deeds), and a wish equivalent to his remaining good deeds (580 major and 1,599,280 minor good deeds (580+1,5990.28 = 2,179.28 major good deeds remaining). Due to having amassed these good deeds in Earth, a mortal based world (a world without any supernatural powers) remaining good deeds value will increase by 100 due to mortal worlds being very hard to amass good deeds.”
When Jake heard those words, he felt happy, very happy. This was because he didn’t have to go to hell (or somewhere bad) or reincarnate without a memory that was because he felt that reincarnating without a memory was equivalent to being wiped out of existence. Jake remembered all the books and games about reincarnation, after all after when he stopped caring about the social ladder of the elites, he had to have a hobby other than just helping people and just staring at the sky or something, so he tried games and books and fell in love with them. He also had a wish equivalent to his remaining good deeds though he didn’t know what he could wish for with that amount.
Though before he could continue with his train of thought the voice continued, “Reading mind for Jake Flash, and analyzing best route for his wish.”
Before Jake could respond to what was happening the voice continued, “Created ‘system’ (-100 major good deeds), created ‘hardcore training space’ (-1,950 major good deeds) and chosen race ‘Primordial Perfect Ogre’ (-116.28 major good deeds) for Jake Flash. Due to wish not granting instant power and not being overwhelming in power, that also require hard work and great mental fortitude to increase in power, an additional two skills will be added ‘mental stability, passive’ and ‘hidden, passive’.
‘Mental stability, passive’ will be ranked as an ‘divine skill,’ which will overwhelm any rank below divine, of de-buff that affects the stability of the mind passively which includes insanity, mind control, etc.
The ‘hidden, passive’ skill which is also ranked as a ‘divine skill’ will help hide the user from any person, place, or thing that divines or searches for the user, passively.
The starting ‘realm’ (universe) chosen will be the minor omni realm which can be accessed up to level 500 before accession to major omni realm up to level 1000. The starting world chosen is the Primal world. As you have 13 major good deeds remaining you will be reborn in a safe place with a good ‘family’ and have a ‘semi-guide’ attached to the ‘system’ that will answer 'most' questions you have based on the universe you will be at.”
Jake just listened and couldn’t believe what he was hearing he hadn’t even thought of his wish and yet the ‘voice’ made a wish better than what he could have thought of. Though, he couldn’t help but ask the voice, “Are you ‘God’?”
The voice response to that question was, “You non-believers think of me, a lesser being as God? No being has the right to even see nor hear ‘God’ unless he wants to, but God is always watching for ‘He’ is omnipotent and omniscient ‘He’ has chosen your fate not me! Let give you a piece of advice the omni universe contains omni things so don't die early, not knowing how nor why. Now let me send you on your way human, or should I say ogre now?”
That was the last thing Jake heard before he lost consciousness.
