《Immortal Sovereign (Cancelled)》Chapter 10. Coming of Age Ceremony (Five)

As the youth's inside the room were clearly amazed Zhou Ye was sitting down and waiting for things to continue and then he saw Ye Cheng still sleeping and pushed him a bit and said "Wake up... Its starting now!"
However Ye Cheng was sound asleep and not waking up and he was even snoring while saying "gimme a bit more time..." Zhou Ye pushed him again then smiled and whispered "Wake up now or Ye Yin will get angry at you!" Ye Cheng immediately woke up and looked around everywhere the look for where Ye Yin was and look confused for a second and saw the smile on Zhou Ye's face and then said "You lied to me!!!"
Ye Cheng may have been a year older but he was still not as mature as Zhou Ye was and before Zhou Ye could reply he heard a voice saying "Everyone line up in 10 lines infront of the 10 testers!"
Li Deshi then explained about the 6 grades possible and after he was done the five sects came upon and said their requirements to join their sects of the five only the Yun Star Sect stated that they needed an 2hd Grade Spiritual talent (Orange) and Origin Temple asked for inferior 3rd Grade Spiritual Talent or above (Light Yellow) The other sects asked for at least superior 1st Grade Spiritual Talent or above (Dark red) The rising sun sect was the only sect asking for a normal 1st Grade Spiritual Talent or above (Red). This was also the same for the other tests of potential and combat experience in order to not get them mixed up.
As the line started to be made Zhou Ye and Ye Cheng heard voices shouting Dark Red, Light Orange, Light Red, Red and the alike, this would symbolise their grade they recieved. As Zhou Ye and Ye Cheng got onto a line, Zhou Ye once again felt a chill going down through his body this was Li Deshi who saw for a moment Zhou Ye however Li Deshi then heard a voice saying "Light Green!" Li Deshi wasn't that surprised however the screaming that came from it agitated him a bit causing him to lose his focus on Zhou Ye.
The one who got Light Green was none other than Zhou Zhixin who was the son of the main family and was distantly related to Zhou Ye was someone who was quite arrogant however he was not arrogant enough to call himself the best genius here since there were disciples of the big sects here however in his family he would definitely do so.
Immediately Origin Temple asked for Zhou Zhixin to join theirs as did the Yun Star Sect by both shouted "Join us! We can offer the best resources" The resources that they would provide were around the same as was the position of Inner disciple. Zhou Zhixin then decided to join Origin Temple "Seniors this junior has decided that he will join Origin Temple!" (3rd person) Zhou Zhixin did so as Origin Temple would usually have the most powerful individuals of all the sects.

After a few minutes the loud shouting came down and it was now Ye Cheng's turn and as he turned his hand on the orb it immediately glowed in a fluorescent blue color rather it was not light blue but rather azure and it started to then glow which effected the entire room and then the tester in a somewhat fearful voice screamed out "Light blue!!!" As he did the color changed to a bit darker turning into a full blue color the tester then shouted "no... its all blue!" There started to be shouting coming from every where "Amazing! Impossible... Hasn't there only been less than an entire handful of people to have blue... He is the fourth person to ever have 5th Grade Spiritual Talent!!!"
Immediately both Origin Temple and Yun Star Sect offered "Ten thousand spirit essences, Spirit Lord Beast, Core Disciple Position, High Grade Technique and Method" A single spirit essence was worth 10,000 mortal coins and ten thousand spirit essences meant 100,000,000 golden coins this was enough to fund an province. Provinces were usually built by mortal hands and this required an larged amount of resources as well and mortals would usually not take spirit essences as payment as they could be in a risky position because of it. Those that reached blue and violet simply skipped the tests of visions and the Spiritual attacks would have little effect on them.
A spirit lord beast was a beast that was tamed and already at the stage of spirit lord however Soul beasts couldn't be tamed unless they were tamed before entering the soul stage as they grew an intelligence after soul stage which allowed them to think and talk better than most humans they could also turn human at enlightenment stage.
The core disciple position was quite self-explanatory however Ye Cheng would definitely be apprenticed under a True Elder or Clan Head and the High Grade Technique and Method was a way of how to cultivate as well as helping on the way. The technique could have been something as "Raging Star Punch" which allowed for the user to punch at extreme speeds and power or "Origin Defence" granting their bodies defence near that of refined items.
Ye Cheng then looked at the Lightning Hall elders and saw that they weren't inviting him and was quite confused and infact he thought that he wasn't good enough for Lightning Hall as he was half asleep when they were announcing the requirements and grades and so Ye Cheng shouted out "Lightning Hall Elders! This Junior wishes to join the Lightning Hall!" As Ye Cheng shouted he was extremely nervous to see the reactions however everyone else was greatly surprised that Ye Cheng wished to join Lightning Hall instead the elder replied "Very well but we cannot offer the same resources as Origin Temple or Yun Star Sect..." Ye Cheng then replied this time loudly because he now thought he was accepted "That doesn't matter! I just wish to join!" The elder replied with "Are you sure.." Ye Cheng nodded in reply

Ye Cheng then started to go towards the elder and Zhou Ye revealed a smile which made Ye Cheng satisfised as he thought to himself "I m doing the right thing! He's happy for me!" Ye Cheng thought of Zhou Ye as an elder brother figure for the past few weeks and months. It was now Zhou Ye's turn as he touched the orb all of a sudden the orb had a very small faint of whitish blue and purple which noone could see but Li Deshi for a second saw it and disappeared and appeared back inside a tower thousands of miles away he opened up several scrolls as if he was looking for something very important and he even tripped several times trying to get scrolls and had a mad look on his face. The whitish blue and purple that came up was not apart of the grading system and since noone saw it they then decided "mmm no color" This greatly confused Zhou Ye as he didn't know why Ye Cheng was also confused however Zhou Ye sent a spirit message saying "Don't do anything just meet me after all the tests"
Back to where Li Deshi was he was constantly looking and searching and thought to himself "Why is that color so familliar as if i heard it before from somewhere" After an hour there were over 3,000 youth's that had been tested Ye Cheng alone got blue with there being 3 others including Zhixin recieving light green and there being 17 others recieving yellow and 230 getting light yellow. 732 people got dark orange with 964 getting normal orange and 354 recieving red and the remaining 200 being dark red.
Zhou Ye and Cheng Ye were now directed to the general talent room which was slightly wider but not as tall.As the general talent test started Zhixin himself once again got green however this time it was normal green while the other two still recieved light green and to even more surprise Ye Cheng recieved once again recieved blue for his talent however when they tested his element affinities they were all only orange with his fire being at light yellow. But when they tested his lightning affinity the color was immensely blue it was just a step away from violet and this was all because of Celestial Origin which used the power of the heavens and the power of the heavens was lightning.
Zhou Ye when testing the general talent recieved once again the whitish blue and purple which noone could see and deemed as no talent and when his element affinity was tested he recieved red for all of them except for lightning in which he recieved once again the whitish blue and purple and as Zhou Ye thought to himself "What does that whitish blue and purple mean... does it mean i really don't have any potential..." Zhou Ye at that point sighed thinking about the whitish blue and purple however in the far distance was Li Deshi frantically travelling to Mo Domain and as he was rapidly disappearing and appearing this was called teleporting a skill that soul cultivators had he was doing it frequently to the Zhenren Council Room located at Mo Domain.
Li Deshi was currently look for someone called Yuan Zen the ancestor of Yuan Li by countless generations. Yuan Zen sensed that Li Deshi was frantically teleporting to him and Yuan Zen then disappeared from the council room and appeared infront of Li Deshi and asked "Whats the matter? Why are you rapidly using teleportation has something happened!?" Li Deshi caught his breath and replied "I found a ultraviolet talent!" Yuan Zen was shocked and then asked quickly "Where!?!?!" Li Deshi pointed his hand at where he was at the mental test building and then Yuan Zen nodded and teleported as did Li Deshi shortly after.
Currently at this point was the combat experience test which also judged their current cultivation and strength in comparison. For this test there wasn't a crystal orb to test their mental capacity or their affinities and general potential but rather a wall of dark steel which could determine the strength of the person in measure of jins and then this would then be compared to their cultivation level which would in turn be compared to their age.
