《the dungeon that made me》Chapter 9

When I woke up I was next to Sasha. Her body was starting to change due to the awakening. Her red hair was glowing in the moon, her skin was so smooth and her face was so beautiful. I had never noticed this about Sasha before. I think it was the part of me that had fallen in love with sasha. Sasha and I had known each other from when we were born to when my mom gave birth to me. The woman who was right next to her was Sasha's mom. Sasha is a couple months older than me. She was always there for me whenever something happened to me. I would never speak up so she spoke up for me. I remember when my teacher took away my phone and tried to get me in trouble. She was the one who stood up for me. She risked being expelled from school to stand up for me. Sasha’s mom had red hair and her dad left before Sasha was born. We were raised like siblings and we were always with each other. Her mom and my mom would each take turns taking care of us. My mom would take care of us in the morning and then work a night shift while her mom would take care of us at night time. My sister was around 12 years old the last time I saw her. She had black long hair just like my mom and she was very energetic like my dad. My mom would always call her the spitting image of my dad. My mom ran a restaurant at home and she also worked in the hospital. She loved eating ice cream and she loved traveling. She would always say that she wanted to travel the world and the first place she wanted to go was paris. Ever since I was 10 I had been saving for the chance to travel the world with my mom, my sister Sasha and Sasha's mom. I was 15 years old when I fell into the dungeon with Sasha. I don't know how long on earth. I don't know if my family is still alive but what I do know is that I will find the person who put me in this dungeon.

AND I WOULD KILL THEM ALL I WILL TAKE AWAY EVERYTHING THEY HOLD DEAR
I had used magic to create a house for me and Sasha using memories from my past lives and the things I know about the orc and pigmen settlement. I built a two story stone house with a kitchen living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. I used magic to make running water in the kitchen and bathroom. I sent out all my soldiers to train and bring back food. I had them store the food in spatial magic. Their job was to get stronger by killing the orcs and other monsters in the dungeon so they could train for the dragon. I also had them search for something strong, something I could use as a weapon to kill the dragon. I knew that even with all the magic that I had I couldn't kill the dragon. I tried to act as normal as possible around Sasha. We did what we usually did in my past lives. We trained and to get stronger and we attacked the monsters. I hid the fact that I knew magic and the fact that I created the house from sasha. I told her it was probably a starter house for people in the dungeon. I used my knowledge of magic and sasha to try to help her get stronger. Sasha was leveling up faster thanks to my help and we were able to kill the orcs and other monsters with just 1 month of training. Thanks to the monsters respawning we were able to continuously grind our levels in just 2 years of training. We were almost at level 100. I was 99 while Sasha was 92. I was running out of time. It was around this time that the dragon started chasing me. In my past life I knew that with my strength I couldn't kill the dragon. In one of my past lives I had found out that the dragon was meant to be undefeatable. Whenever it was as strong as everyone in the dungeon combined. I had only found that out because it had taken pity on me and told me that. I had built an underground base under the house. I also covered the house with 10 layers with defensive magic and then waited for the dragon to come.

Reality's Gate: Stealing The Gifts Of The Gods
One day, earth managed to create an alternate Reality Gate. However, it malfunctioned, molding our reality with the other. In this, it became commonplace to jump between worlds, create magical wonders, destroy and create with but a whim. The biggest change though came from something that was truly unique: The "gifts" given at birth. These "Gifts" given by the gods of that reality were now bestowed upon our Reality as well. Yet, there was one person who wasn't given a gift. And in a last ditch effort of The Anomalous One to fight the gods gave him a gift since the gods wouldn't. Though it was a gift for him, it was a curse for others... This is a story about The Successor of the Ouroboros, who was given the gift of thievery, the gift of taking what the gods give to others and using it for his own purposes. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is not a good guy's story. This is someone filled with hate. This is someone who wants revenge against the gods who didn't give him a gift. This. Is. The. Anti-hero. Of. Anti-heroes. The Arcanist Seer
An eye of which sees everything beyond the skies and heavens saw an embodying fate with reek of blood and greed. He who sees the future and yet is restrained by his own shackles of his destiny. An eye that serves a purpose but nothing in exchange for his freedom. Will he remain as a tool of his adversary or escape from his own shackles of fate? This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.

Cycles of Ruin
Civilizations rise and fall. Kith build them up and monsters, led by powerful dungeon keepers, bring them to ruin. For three thousand years the cycle has been maintained by the Guild of Chaos and its endless hordes of minions who—in absence of their long lost creators—have taken it upon themselves to keep the realms of the universe in balance. The Guild has grown efficient at this task, but some among its ranks have begun to ponder the utility of a universe that has been robbed of the very possibility of change. Basil von Doom is one such dungeon keeper working for the Guild, leading an army of loyal minions from one conquest to the next; burning civilizations and sifting through the ruins in search of forbidden knowledge that the races of kith were never meant to possess. But having spent more than half a century in pursuit of glory and fame—trying to live up to the legacy of his father—Basil has grown indifferent towards his work. Desperate for a worthy challenge, but bound by his duties as a dungeon keeper, he has turned his mind towards uncovering the ultimate fate of the previous master of his house and the secrets that were buried with him. Now the young Master of House Doom must balance his growing interest in pursuing the trail of his father with the responsibilities that come with running a dungeon in service to the Guild of Chaos. To remain in good standing with the Guild, Basil has even accepted the task of mentoring an apprentice dungeon keeper, a young succubus named Elnora. It is at the tail end of her apprenticeship that the story begins; with a civilization poised to fall—its greatest heroes gathering for one last assault on the heart of darkness—and Basil striking up a conversation with his apprentice that will set into motion the unraveling of the universe. ***This is a rewrite and continuation of my story that was first posted on RoyalRoad a few years ago.
