Danny woke up in the infirmary, as the nurse bandaged him.
"You can't stay out of trouble, can you?" the nurse asked, as she continued bandaging.
"More like trouble can't stay away from me," Danny replied, chuckling to himself.
The conversation didn't continue, as the nurse focused on bandaging Danny up.
"How long have I been knocked out?" Danny asked, as he tried to stand up.
The nurse glanced at him before saying, "It's now Electives. So, the end of the day. But, whoever hit you, hits hard."
"Of course they do," Danny mumbled to himself.
It hurt to stand, but not unbearably so.
Danny left the room, unhindered by the nurse. But Danny frowned to himself.
Who was the nurse? He wasn't sure if she was ever even mentioned in the story. Arogel was basically so overpowered that he had no need to ever go to the infirmary, while his friends had to deal with their own wounds on their own.
Danny pulled out the phone, asking, "Was there ever a nurse in the story?"
There was a long moment of silence, only disrupted by his own footsteps through the empty hallways, as he waited for an answer.
[No, the existence of a nurse has never been confirmed in the Academy. However, it has been insinuated.]
Danny wasn't glad about the answer. Someone that could heal that well should have been mentioned.
Healers were a semi-special existence in the novel. Until Arogel got healing Gifts, they were rather important, as they could save someone on the verge of death. They weren't treated badly anywhere in the world. Who would want someone that could save your life, but wouldn't?
But, still, a nurse should have been mentioned sometime in the novel, right?
While pondering about some details, he found himself in front of the Cooking Club.

The door was off its hinges, sprawled out further in. Danny cautiously walked in, hearing yelling.
"You may as well walk out now," yelled a voice, definitely belonging to a delinquent, Danny noted. "Your Club will be wiped soon. You understand that?"
"But, we have someone that said they would join," Sarah pleaded.
Danny's heart constricted by the fact he forgot to hand the note in.
"Well, they ain't officially joined, so screw off." There seemed to be only one person in there.
Danny moved around the wall, seeing the room in its entirety. It was destroyed.
The furniture was broken, along with all the cooking utensils, and the walls were completely ripped apart.
There was only Sarah, Percy, and another man, who Danny didn't know by the face alone.
"What's going on?" he called, stopping the unknown man's fist from reaching Percy, who flinched.
"And who's this?" the man asked, walking with his hands in his pockets. The way he walked got on Danny's nerves.
"August Reginald VI," Danny greeted, holding out his hand. "Unpleased to make your acquaintance."
The man seemed to falter, but clumsily regained his composure. "Well, you see, these idiots said that they weren't leaving because of an unofficial member."
Danny smiled, thinking of an interesting way to end this. "Oh, really?" he asked, feigning ignorance. He felt pain at the two's expressions, but he wanted to do this.
"Yes," the man said, nodding. "Really, if there were any fools stupid enough to join this Club, then I would have to be a proper upperclassman."
"And who are you, exactly?" Danny asked, feeling his smile come out full force. Thankfully, the man's back was turned.
"Ponar Gerni, at your service."
Danny inwardly laughed. "Well, Ponar," he said, starting off. "What if that unofficial member was me?"
Ponar, which Danny still found a funny name, seemed dumbstruck as he fumbled, unable to form even a single word.
Then, something seemed to have connected. "Wait, you're the one that fought Arogel today, aren't you? You are the Barbarian."
Danny shrugged. He hadn't heard anything about being a Barbarian. Still, it didn't matter to him.

Young bloods (WIP)
" So-called leaders prostituted their people to wars and abuse. They destroyed families, culture and economies; their hands dyed red by the blood of the children, the families trampled by their lecherous motivations and diabolical war machines. Trained and taught by the Revenants or rather “young bloods” from their war-torn world, we were going to build a better world for us and for the later generations, a world when there shall be no more wars waged over territory, a world where boys and girls can frolic around for all of eternity." -Sasha, Terutan regular army cadet. ‘History is determined by the victors, and here we stand transcended over those who abused us. History is filled with liars, broken promises of eternal prosperity and peace. The more things change, the more things stayed the same: ideology change, location shift but power will always find a place to rest its head. We fought and bled for the adults, the grown men and women who preached of us being their future, preached us of the freedom from tyranny and slavery; no wonder why we hated them so. History is determined by the victor, and there shall be no victors when we’re done.’- Yulia Bronskavya, Red Army Homeguard. UPDATES TUES/THURS after chapter 5 Cover art by Tumblr User: @pigeon-princess This book features characters that are related to in many ways to my other novel "Grimoire". While both stories are their own stand alone series, Sun God's Corruption will add a good amount of depth to Grimoire, and Grimoire shows the unfoldings of the world that will eventually come from the events in Sun God's Corruption. I reccomend reading them both interchangably.
