The house was in peace.
Footsteps could be heard as they pressed under the mud. Smudged under the blemish of the wet, slushy firmament of the village soil.
The soldiers entered the house. Tired and relieved they had found the girl who evaded them for so long.
Laughing and admiring the girl's body they begun to taunt and ridicule her.
Mocking the dead body she lay beside. One of the soldiers undid his belt buckle while the other removed his armor.
They joked to themselves at who would turn her out first and defile her.
Aya lay there, almost unconscious, vacant of her own body.
Their voices didn't enter her mind. Lost in empty thought.
One of the soldiers grabbed her by her hair and flung her across the room, her body colliding with the wall. Not even a sound came out of her. Her hair messy, hiding her faded eyes. Blood leaked from her mouth.
"Come on I didn't hit you that hard now" one of them relayed while sneering.
Aya looked at him. Her pupils were lost. The soldier shrugged and stared back at her with a mean look.
Then he saw her eyes dye black and the outer rims turn red. Blood slowly gushed out of them. In fear, he took two steps back grabbing his sword. The other stood up instantly.
"This whench's a demon, a real freak".
"Calm down we'll capture and bring her in" the other suggested.
Their tongue didn't register in Aya's mind. She could neither reason nor understand them, the girl was lost and gone.
He volleyed his sword from hand to hand.
Aya didn't respond, staring blankly at him.
He took two cautious calculating steps forward. His boot crushed some dirt as he did. In an instant a loud scream flared the house, covering the whole area.

Reaching the bridge and even parts of the forest.
Shassii' instinct ticked, and she looked back seeing the town in smolders.
Chainik looked towards Aya's house, even the villagers and the Guards who were treating Commissioner Losuii. The scream evoked fear on the party who issued out the rest of the guards to its location.
A pit of rage consumed the atmosphere. Aya flew across the room bypassing his guard, stabbing him viciously as she thrusting him unto the ground. Her strength unparrled as he failed to defend himself. His head bounced as it met the hard sandstone. Looking up in fright he witnessed set sharp ravishing teeth which tore into him.
"AARRRRGHHHHHHHH!!!" he screamed out.
Biting his face like a rabid dog and carving it out until it was unrecognizable.
The other guard fled in fear, running across the street. Pants sagging down as he yearned for help.
"Helpppp!!! help!!"
Aya moved like a beast, no sound, no footsteps, no trace.
She lashed at him tearing up his limbs. Like a violent volley of wind gales. Swaying from one side of the street to the next in an instant. Her body kissed the ground as she moved. Appearing only for a sudden before rapidly charging back at him.
In her rush all he could see where the cold black eyes and the blood thick outer rims of her eye sockets. The rage and anger seeped from her, as she made her way to him, her image became more distorted and he lost sight of her.
The sound of her fury rung in his ears as he lost himself in her barrage of attacks. It was like a rough cyclone, he couldn't move or escape. Anything in Aya's way was thrashed and thrown to the side. The stalls, the leftover food and sacks left at the stands.

All throughout each time she came close to him a slice landed on a vital part, first, she started on his lower half then moved up to his torso. Before making her way to his face. Slicing his nose first, before cutting his lips and eventually his eyes as he lost sight.
In a panic, he came to a stop.
Swinging his sword viciously at each collision and missing each time.
He couldn't track her movements; she was an animal.
He swung his sword out this time with an inwards motion to counter her from in front, hoping to hit her head, she juked past it severing his head in a pool of blood as she rescinded to the ground after.
Her song of fury dampened as he heard his sword clang as it fell on.
All was quiet again.
Staring blankly at her hands grasping a wet dagger soaked in blood, her mind went black again.
"GRRRRRRRRRR"
"HMPH, HMPH, HMPH"
Aya's chest pulsated as she clenched her fist. The emotions In her slowly subsided.
In her head, the words ricocheted around "Outside is Outside. Inside is Inside".
Waking her up once again. Her tempers and temper had flowed out of her like a forest waterfall.
It kept her sane and blanketed her thoughts. Blemish and wretch filled her soul.
Forgetting the scene around her, She stumbled and fell, as she left the village's confounds and headed to the lake.

It's a little story I've been mulling over for the better part of six months. It brings together elements of litrpg and progression fantasy with a dash of xianxia. If you enjoy a story where the MC must overcome challenges to become strong then you've come to the right place.
